  • I bought the Keurig K-Supreme Plus from Costco for about $135 - which was a great deal. The K-Plus FINALLY replaces the evil K-Mini I've had for over 2 years.
Definitely check out the review I did of the K-Mini because in that video I show you my very first Keurig...which is the very reason I still have faith in the Keurig brand.

Hi Scott! Great review! I got a Keurig Classic from my office at work that an old coworker had brought in because it did not work. I think it had a similar problem to your evil K-Mini. The water would start to get sucked into the machine, but would not filter through the K-cup. I held my finger over the little rubber return spout in the tank during a brew cycle and that fixed the problem. I really only drink Lipton iced sweet tea in a large tiki mug, so I wanted to look into getting the Supreme Plus that would saturate the tea and sugar in the k-cups better than the Classic with just one needle. I was having to add my own sugar to my mug. I love the idea of also being able to control the strength and temperature as well. I think it will be fun to play around with the Supreme to figure out what works best for me. It's nice to have the over ice button, but since my mug is so large, and the over ice button only brews 6oz, I think I will stick to a custom strength and temperature setting with a 12oz brew and could probably use less ice in my mug that way.

It was a total bummer with the K-mini bc it fit so perfectly in my teeny kitchen. But the K Supreme - it's the best!!!

One year later, the K mini still does all you mentioned.

A fresh water weekly rinse will fix it.

You are quite funny and smart! I have the machine you are replacing. Do you realize there is a rubber covered reset button under the lever that you push down to puncture the K cup. It might have reset your issues with it. I have the plain Jane one which you just replaced , pour water to the top of the clear tank and make a consistent cup. All good!

I ordered the Supreme Plus and should be receiving it soon. I’m a little apprehensive. After the fact, I read too many negative customer reviews about it breaking down and people having to make exchange after exchange. We’ll see…. I do have a question. I thought it was odd that the machine dispenses water before the actual brewed coffee starts to flow. Why in the world is this. I’ve had other machines that have never done this. Does Keurig provide an explanation?

BTW, this is an older video. What has been your experience since?

Very disappointed in this machine….save your money……the 12 oz. Makes weak coffee even if you change to a stronger strength…..I went ack to my BUNN

If you're using 12oz of water to anything less than 11 grams of water or a 9 gram Dunkin' K-Cup, your results will be brown water.

They say use 8 oz for the perfect cup.

The K-Mini was terrible. But the Supreme Plus has been a gem!
