I graduated in senior high last 2020, and my strand was Gas. I've chosen it because I was undecided, yes that was before. When I discovered that some of the subjects from the other strand was also included in this strand which is gas. I've learned a lot and I believe that's the advantage of choosing the gas strand, because you can also learn other subjects related and connected to other strand like stem, humss, abm, and techvoc. It's not easy, it was a tough year. For me personally, the most hardest subject aside from research. It has been taught to me, and admittedly not being ashamed of it. I failed in the first semester but I bounced back in 2nd semester and proved to my teacher that I don't deserve that grade, cause that's the lowest grade that I got and it's 73. Actually we're the same with my best friend, that was really funny but unfortunately sad for us. It's none other than, philosophy and I'd rather choose psychology over this hardest subject that I've ever learned. I don't wanna spoil and explain it further, I'm pretty sure you can experience it soon and you have to be ready cause it might be just senior high school, but it feels like more difficult because you're like in college. All I can say now is, I'm grateful that I've already overcome the obstacles in my 2 years in senior high. Lastly, enjoy and don't forget that you're studying.. It's not just for our family, but most importantly for ourselves. We do it because we want to learn, to be a good example, to do our best and be the better of ourselves and despite the struggles that we're facing I know and I strongly believe that we can all become successful someday. As an incoming grade 11 student this vid has been really helpful in impacting my choice on which strand to choose because I'm torn between two strands which is HUMSS and STEM , that's because I like to study more about social sciences but I actually excel in science so choosing the right strand is just a pain to deal with so I did some hard thinking and I realize that the GAS strand has it all and that means that I'll both have subjects from HUMSS and STEM so I decided to take it instead for this incoming school year and this vid really helped me a lot as well,so thank you to the creator of this vid,I really appreciate it👍.

I respect all the context in this video. But in my opinion, we shouldn't label GAS track as 'only' for UNDECIDED. Hindi ba pwedeng kinuha ANG GAS para mapag-aralan ang lahat? That's exactly it. It's general! Hindi ba pwedeng gusto niya lang talaga ng GAS? What I'm pointing out is lahat naman ng track is pantay pantay. I think we stop this misconseption about GAS track only for UNDECIDED. Incoming grade 9 ako at nagwoworry na kaagad since g8 kung anong strand kukunin ko for shs😭 I was never a smart kid and never ko nalaman kung saan ako magaling. Im thinking of taking HUMSS since im kinda interested in psychology and human behavior but im not really an essay or a social person PLUS im also interested in technology computer stuff, managing, interior design, graphic design, literally fine arts BUT i do want to take GAS, since i want to learn more a little bit of everything, yes its challenging but i want to know more about what i want and can do
Grade 10 student nako pero nahihirapan ako pumili ng strand pero may hilig ako sa science pero lagi akong natatakot sa math and english which is my weakness. 3 months late nga ako pero Yung STEM focus talaga sya sa Math mga engineering mag bebenifit dun Sa GAS pwede kang kumuha for Biology/chemistry or science talaga Mas marami subject sa GAS(as of now 10 lang subjects namin) pero research lang yung hard, pero sa Stem kung di ka talaga magaling sa math mas masakit pa yan sa research Grade 12 na ako going smooth parin
Maybe my last resort is GAS, because both of my favorite subjects are both specialized in STEM and HUMSS since I want to pursue Physics and Social Science. Should I go with GAS or think carefully about taking STEM/HUMSS?

I've searched so hard about STEM and decided to enter STEM but my SCIENCE grade wasn't passing grade so I entered GAS ,, still happy. ❤️

Incoming grade 9 ako at nagwoworry na kaagad since g8 kung anong strand kukunin ko for shs😭 I was never a smart kid and never ko nalaman kung saan ako magaling. Im thinking of taking HUMSS since im kinda interested in psychology and human behavior but im not really an essay or a social person PLUS im also interested in technology computer stuff, managing, interior design, graphic design, literally fine arts BUT i do want to take GAS, since i want to learn more a little bit of everything, yes its challenging but i want to know more about what i want and can do
Grade 10 student nako pero nahihirapan ako pumili ng strand pero may hilig ako sa science pero lagi akong natatakot sa math and english which is my weakness. Nagtatanong din ako sa iba and ang advice nila ay mag STEM or GAS.
Ano po ang mas better? Please help me nahihirapan na po ako at lagi nalang nahihirapan matulog kaka isip.
3 months late nga ako pero Yung STEM focus talaga sya sa Math mga engineering mag bebenifit dun
Sa GAS pwede kang kumuha for Biology/chemistry or science talaga
Mas marami subject sa GAS(as of now 10 lang subjects namin) pero research lang yung hard, pero sa Stem kung di ka talaga magaling sa math mas masakit pa yan sa research

Final decision GAS because HUMSS is not available in my school. Fighting!!

since i was grade 6 nag decide na po ako na mag HUMSS kasi balak ko talaga mag educ kc blak q po tlaga mag teacher.. pero now nag dadalawang isip na po aq kung HUMSS, ABM( Kc po pasok rin po aq sa ABM) or mag GAS po aq.... ang hirap po pla mag decide hahaha d po talaga q sure ngayon ang hirap
