Hello po sir Marky Ermac, nahihirapan pa po ako kung anong pipiliin ko sa shs kase mahilig po ako sa coding(ICT) at sa pag dradrawing and sa music ,kayat nahihirapan pa po ako kung anong track po ang kukunin ko kung TVL po or arts and design.

I’m contemplating whether I should choose HUMSS , STEM or Arts and Design. I showed my love for music at such young age and that really made me think that I want to be in the music industry. The thing is idk what to do after shs....bcs all I want is a stable job that can provide me financially. I’m literally still in 7th grade lol.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I'll go for STEM, ICT, or arts and design. I'm not the best in math and science, but I can see that I'm learning faster than the average person my age in these subjects. I also feel like this strand can give me the most knowledge and good opportunities. But editing and doing technical work is something I wouldn't get bored of. Yet, I've always loved art and design since I was a little. I've acquired a lot of drawing skills, and I've always been invested in the arts and fashion. I don't know what to choose.But I don't feel like going to GAS considering its consequences.

Maraming salamat kuya! Im an upcoming grade 11 student and i was really anxious kung ano strand pipiliin ko dahil wala akong speciality. Magaling ako sa mathematics kaso lng di ako confident sa math skills ko kaya nagtanong nlng ako sa nanay ko. Mag ICT daw ako and im not sure if pwede ko toh ikuha pero i am getting the needed the confidence to pursue this
Thank you for creating this video Sir Ermac. I'm a grade 9 student right now and i'm having hard time right now deciding which tracks or strand should i enroll. I would like to take Arts & Design track since i'm like a huge fan of anime culture and music, but at the same time, Math and Science is like my best subject even though my grades aren't that good since these subjects is really interesting.
One thing that concerns me tho is the grades. I'm in real bad situation rn since the pandemic started. I just have a lot of blanks in my card when i was grade 8. I really wanna improve my self a lot in terms of discipline, responsibility, and time management, but i just like anime a lot. Idk if SHS requires grades to join easily, and i'm really concerned.....

I still am not sure if I should choose STEM or Arts and Design... im turning gr 11 this yr and i am not sure what to take :( I really love drawing/painting my teachers even asked me if i want to learn fine arts(which i do..) but i dont think my parents will allow that so I think I should just take architecture... so rn stem is my best option(even though i wanna go to arts and design)

Mag SHS na ako next year pero diko alam kung san strand ako belong, mahina ako sa math, English at science kaya feeling ko di talaga ako belong kahit sang strand.
Make your weakness as your strength po. Lahat po kasi ng Strand and Tracks may subject na Mathematics, English and Science. Basta piliin mo yung strand na under ng passion or course na gusto mo someday.

Sir, if may I ask. Sa Arts and Design Tracks po, magkaibang strand po ba ang visual arts at performance art? Kailangan paba mamili sa dalawa?

Visual arts - the manipulation of materials to create art works that are appreciated visually
Performance art - uses your body's movement and mostly involves music if not drama
@@sleepyinterface8819 yes, thank you for such information but I would like to know if I choose arts and design track would that mean I'll have access to both specialized fields or- do I have to choose whether I am art focused or performance focused? But then again thank you.

HEELPPP. at first, sure ako na i will take ABM strand since na observe ko many of my interest is naka base sa strand na yun something like business, to work sa office and also to take flight attendant. That was my plan back then years ago pero now, incoming grade 11 and thinking about STEM strand😭 since my brother told me so and marami siyang sinabi about dun and well ofc mas prioritize talaga ang mga STEM students. As of now, natatakot ako, ang hirap mag adjust and im not that good in every subjects so for sure ill be shock and baka hindi maka survive😭 so basically, as of now my heart tells to take ABM but my brain tells me to take STEM. NOW WHAAAATTTTT

ahm tanong ko lang po...gusto ko po ang art course pero nag stem strand po ako!!! pwede pa poba mag arts course sa college even I'm graduated as a stem student??
I think what matters is your portfolio but again this depends on what field of arts you are looking for. Are you looking into fine arts? Visual arts? Graphic design? Some schools require you to have a portfolio while some don't so it depends from school to school. Take this with a grain of salt from a grade 10 student.

I'm having a hard time whether should I choose humms or arts and design. I've always been facinated to Filmmaking,editing, and behind the scenes, and in humms being an HR is more practical.

Hi, after po ba Ng Grade 11 pwede ka po ba magpalit Ng strand for grade 12? For example ICT kinuha mong strand sa grade 11, and sa grade 12 mo is ABM na. Pwede po ba 'yon? Sana mapansin:)
Sa pagkakaalam ko puwede naman po. Kaso kung ano yung subjects na hindi mo natake sa strand mo noong grade 11 ka ay itetake mo ulit sa bagong strand na kukunin mo. Kaya may mga schools na hindi yon ina allowed dahil maproseso at mahirap din.
