@Raiti's Rides you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years. I, for one, will be looking for an alternative to GM next time because I am not interested in a monthly bill in order to use the features of the vehicle I already paid for. It may prove impossible to purchase a new auto without, in which case, I will be actively searching the used market for a suitable older vehicle and i will happily do whatever I need to maintain it. The thought of purchasing a $60,000 auto and then having to pay a fee to use it's installed options is just one step too far in my book and I am certain there are many who agree with me. Not that the auto makers will care.....

LS and LT you can, not RS or Z71 If you want a high trim with a bench I think the only option is the Pilot or specific configurations of the Atlas and Pathfinder

I absolutely love this red on Chevy vehicles. It really pops in the sunlight and fits the overall shape of the Traverse to a T. 9:24 It honestly doesn't bother me that the exhausts are on one side of the Kia Telluride. It gives it more of a rugged appearance in the rear by having them do it this way. Plus, I think the reason why they have the exhausts only on the right side is so that the heat can't enter the passenger cabin. I also think it's a cool Korean design feature to have the exhaust pipes on the right side.
Joe, as a Chevy fan boy, the 2024 Traverse in my opinion is class leading inside and out and would be a grand slam if it had a hybrid option. With the new 2025 Equinox getting most likely a PHEV option I hope the 2.5 Turbo in the Traverse also gets the PHEV engine option. Joe and Lori, once again a great review!
This Chevy Traverse is an awesome SUV, good sporty looks outside and inside and lots of room, totally agree the red door trims and stitching looks really nice. The size is smaller than a Chevy Suburban but it still has a lot of interior room so it has the room to be a family hauler on trips and you get some bang for the buck with the under $60k price tag. Should have maybe been made as a Hybrid with the electric motor to add HP and Torque instead of having a Turbocharger.
I have to say as a BMW owner I’m very impressed how good the new Chevy cars SUVs look. Also the super cruise is fantastic. Way better than Tesla! The build quality is definitely very good.
Joe, I remember a lot of notable redesigns in 2018, the Traverse being one of them. They really got my attention. 2022 refresh, they lost me a bit. But with the 2024 redesign, they have my attention once again. 👌

I would use super cruise as you did, Joe, to keep driving as I adjusted my music or AC settings. It would also give my body a little chance to stretch/relax since I have RA. It's like an extension of cruise control. GM has done impressive work here!

Hey Joe ! is the traverse really having quad exhausts like in the MDX, i saw it upclose recently and it seems its dual exhausts (other two for aestthetics ?)
Does anyone who has this RS feel like the gear shifts hard from second to third? Mine is super smooth until I'm going from 2nd to 3rd, and when it shifts, it's noticeable, whereas with the other gears, I can't even tell it's shifting.
I love everything about this new car. I'm comparing this to a new ST. If this had a twin T v6 at 400hp+ my mind would be made up. I just want to know is these 4cyl turbos are worth it or not.
That is nicer than the current Telluride.. Huge info screen.beautiful.. The red stitching..sporty looks awesome.. The exterior looks beautiful..Rims are 🔥.. I would go black out exterior not red.
Nice review and love when talking about back in the day Chevy rides !! and yes the Wiper at the rear has to go ... I have a 2021 Tahoe RST and is hidden at the top. really considering this mid size SUV ..... thanks for the videos Joe .... from Los Angeles Hello to all .
Starting at 57 thousand for a V4 is ridiculous. It will be worth 30 once you drive it off the lot. These auto makers have lost their minds . I love your show and I know you have no control over the prices but this vehicle is way over priced no matter what’s inside of it . God bless you Joe and keep bringing the great content.
Love the new design! However not sure about the price. It's alot more then my 2023 RS, but I wouldn't really say it has much more to offer.... other then design. Also, can you tell it's a 4cyl when driving? How does it compare to the old v6 when you are actually driving? (Not just on paper)
HUGE improvement, Chevy (and about time)! I like it all except the 'reverse-shark fin' towards the back of the vehicle (but I'm sure I'd get used to it eventually). I would imagine that, with the enormous room inside on this one, not to mention the increased MPG (and lower price), it will be more likely to cannibalize sales from Chevy's own Tahoe as opposed to either the Telluride/ Palisade. Thanks for the look, Joe! You're #1 in my book!
Sporty looking! Love it. As a lease manager all makes- the Palisades start to squeak and rattle too early- 3 years 25000 miles they sound like a Dodge Journey with 100,000 miles. I have clients that insisted on them because of reviews and interior styling for in town use and they are getting rid of them 2 years early.
AWESOME REVIEW “ Quick question, “PLEASE”, now that you have driven the new Traverse RS is it really worth it and, is it that nice? Thanks for your honest opinion…❤
I bought the new 2024 Traverse RS exactly as you showed in this video, with the exception of the color, mine is Mosaic Black Metallic. I love how the entire SUV is all blacked out with little red accents. It's a great SUV, rides great with great pick up. I have had one other Traverse in the past and I can say I absolutely love this version. I am so very happy that I made the purchase. I don't see anything on it that I would improve upon at this time. 100% satisfied with the vehicle.
I would definitely consider this over the Telluride. KIA does have that wonderful warranty, but having owned several Impalas and a Silverado, I do not see the warranty as being a major showstopper in selecting the Traverse. The styling is fresh, and the the Traverse is loaded with features, but wish Chevy would’ve offered a hybrid version.
Joe, as always, an amazing and helpful review, thank you! What I don't get is you always Zonking an exposed rear wiper. What's wrong with that? I've been waiting for the new Traverse since the end of last year while owning 2019 model, which I loved! Gave up waiting, bought 24 Nissan Pathfinder SL Premium Package. Absolutely love it, can't wait to get up in the morning and drive to work. Still miss my Traverse only because of its larger interior room and a smoother ride...
Yes a 17.7" display, but does gm let you go full screen with anything other than maps? This is another traverse video where the music button wasn't pressed. Did gm mandate this in order to make the video? Does the audio screen have a giant useless clock like in the Silverado\Sierra? These new gm products advertise the giant screens, but in the case of the Silverado / Sierra, the only time you actually use the full screen is when using maps.
love this car, just 1 tiny question, why they cut the heated seat buttons? have to go all the way up to press that small tiny heated seat icon in the screen? considering they have already reserve segment for buttons and knobs(real buttons and knobs are a necessity to me as well),in addition GM's super cruising is amazing, and that "drug" handing out thing is normal today just hilarious 😂 very nice review!
Nice color. Most importantly this beats the Telluride, CX 90, Wagoneer. Definetly sold on this 1. Will start shopping around today for finance or lease deals.
There's no doubt that it looks nice and has all the family-friendly features properly done for a family SUV. The big question is if it's going to be reliable or if it will end up being one problem after another. I looked into the Traverse owner groups as I have with most family SUVs because we are in beginning stages of shopping and what I found is there is an overwhelming amount of people having problem after problem thinking they've made the worst decision in their life buying a Traverse. The Honda Pilot and Lexus TX owners groups have significantly less problem posts... I understand all new cars at some point we'll end up having something adjusted or fixed under warranty but it becomes very concerning when a vehicle is spending more time with the service Department than the consumer has driving it
Your selling Chevys bro... Every thing you said about the chevy is what i like about the telluride. Natural V6 & analog contols for climate... I dont want to toch screens. Actual stick shift no buttons for transmission. Thanks for selling me the telluride 👍
To me the big game changer is supercruise. It's such a great feature for traffic in the city and towing and long distance driving. My next car will definitely have super cruise, I think that new Buick Enclave is calling me due to the nicer interior and those amazing sounding massage seats!!

That is a very good point Travis!
Uh oh the exposed rear wiper. That is a major zonk for an SUV at this price point.
Great video, thank you. Does the Traverse have a HUD?
love this car, just 1 tiny question, why they cut the heated seat buttons? have to go all the way up to press that small tiny heated seat icon in the screen? considering they have already reserve segment for buttons and knobs(real buttons and knobs are a necessity to me as well),in addition GM's super cruising is amazing, and that "drug" handing out thing is normal today just hilarious 😂 very nice review!
no aluminum pedals is very weird. That super cruise is something special.
I think it’s a beauty. I like that purple-ish colour it comes in way better though
Nice, hope the Acadia improved as well. Last gen looked meh 😕
Poor Man’s Tahoe..love it!
The wife is looking at the kia Sorento and I think this would be a better choice for inside room and possibly the ride quality. Shopping this weekend.
When can we expect the '25 Blazer? Can it get updated driver screen & infotainment screen, pls? '24 software seems dated already, especially on non-RS
Nice color. Most importantly this beats the Telluride, CX 90, Wagoneer. Definetly sold on this 1. Will start shopping around today for finance or lease deals.
I am 6 feet tall, 165 lb 33 year old man. I sat in the second row and adjusted it to my height then sat in the 3rd row and had more than enough room.
Love this 2024 Traverse RS. It gets a 9.5 out of 10. Had Chevy tuck in the rear wiper, it would have been and easy 10 out of 10.
I understand all new cars at some point we'll end up having something adjusted or fixed under warranty but it becomes very concerning when a vehicle is spending more time with the service Department than the consumer has driving it
So it does not have any fog light? Not even the Z71?
Is there no plugs?
Your selling Chevys bro... Every thing you said about the chevy is what i like about the telluride. Natural V6 & analog contols for climate... I dont want to toch screens. Actual stick shift no buttons for transmission. Thanks for selling me the telluride 👍
To me the big game changer is supercruise. It's such a great feature for traffic in the city and towing and long distance driving. My next car will definitely have super cruise, I think that new Buick Enclave is calling me due to the nicer interior and those amazing sounding massage seats!!
The NVH improvements of the Enclave over the Chevy or GMC is a big win! The Enclave will be the best of the Traverse and Acadia option for 2024+
How's road noise?
