Finally another model for review on youtube besides the Z71 and the RS!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching
I'll subscribe just because you have a base model review. I hate that nobody really cares about the base models. Not everyone wants to buy the most expensive models. I priced out the exact same model midnight sport but with AWD and it's $43k.
Thank you for subscribing! We agree, lots of people are interested in the base trim level but is often hard to find information. That's a great deal with AWD!
@@c.harperautogroup How is the speakers quality compared to Bose in the top range. Is there a option for that to get in the base model
@@arunkumarm6042 I can't tell exactly now as I haven't had a chance to experience the Bose - but this base system wasn't offensive
Great info! Does the base have a sunroof or moonroof?
This and the LT are the trims most people will afford to buy. This LS isnt too bad as the base trim, you get the same 2.5L turbo and the utility and space the Traverse has. Just dont take it off road lol.
Both are great values in my opinion. I don’t think that many traverse buyers take it off road but at least the z71 helps in that regard
@@c.harperautogroupWhat do you think of the quiet of the ride for the LS trim
@@Maxwell1989 It was nice, smooth, and quiet in my first impression
This is really nice for the price! Competition is getting a little stiff I see! GM starting out on the right foot! Good job chevy!
They took the redesign very seriously! Love seeing good competition. Thanks for watching
That's why everybody buy toyota highlander!

First video that showcases the beauty of the midnight edition.
Great video!
Thank you! Beautiful indeed - I think it's a must have choice!
Ok the price is very competitive, like this.
Great value for money. Thanks for watching
I agree but plan on LT instead. Red LT AWD with black package. I also want to add moonroof and driver tech package ( premium audio, hands free driving etc) all for just over 50K. Basically a RS with cloth seating and 20s instead of 22s. Heck you can even add imitation leather for another grand if you prefer.
No Moonroof save $1.5k etc. You can make it cheaper as well.
I think that's the spec right there! I myself wouldn't want 22" wheels and don't like the more noisy tires of the Z71.
FINALLY an all black one
Looks so good in all black!!
alot of people miss that the 2nd row tilts and slides so you can keep a car seat installed with latches while tilting it...big feature that many dont know about and few suvs have
Excellent point - one of the best features on the Traverse!
Looks smashing
It really does! Thanks for watching
Love the square shoulders
Strong looking!!
It will be interesting to see how well the 2.5 holds up with the turbo. Typically turbos can be hard on smaller engines especially with a large vehicle.
Yeah at least it’s a large sized four cylinder
Does the front camera turn on automatically when approaching an object detected by proximity sensors?
No, but you can open the camera app before you pull forward into a parking spot.
This is correct
How is the ride quality when comparing with Tahoe with air suspension ?
It's hard to judge without driving them back to back but I though the ride quality was smooth and quiet enough. Tahoe is likely a bit more premium/substantial feeling.
Do the second row seats lay flat like the captain seats?
Yes they do!
Great video! I am trying to decide between the LT and RS but LS wouldn’t be a bad decision to save a few bucks.
Not that you asked my opinion but as someone who is also in the market and considering this, I do think the RS is a big step up after seeing them both in person. I haven't seen the LT so I can't compare that one. Of course your needs and wants may be very different than mine but as a person who drives a lot, I will go with the RS. My local dealer is not doing those stupid mark ups so it makes even more attractive.
@@CoachClydeMake sure you get the Costco invoice pricing with the Costco auto program
@@Maxwell1989what’s that?
I’m debating between z71 and RS, but I really don’t wanna pay 57k for an RS
LT with this same package is also a great value and gets some extras. That’s probably what I’d go for myself
Boom!!
I do like auto seats so I'd be paying 3.5k extra to adjust seats...
And I noticed the ls is coming alot with the upgraded alloy wheels from the factory which Is a hefty upcharge..
Base should be base and if I want alloy wheels extra I should ask for them..
I too wish power seats were in option on the LS. We just got in a totally base LS without the upgraded wheels, so they will be out there
Is there option for ventilated seats and panoramic sunroof on this model ?
Yes, both are standard on the RS trim level.
Does the other side in the second row tilt like that too? That is two seats together right?
Yes it does!
@@c.harperautogroup thank you. What a great car. I do wish there was a faux leather option that wasnt black. Maybe chevy will bring something later
@@Pupui89 Agree, they should have both colors
Is the suspension the same as the 2nd gen Traverse?
Same platform with some enhancements for comfort and NVH (noise, vibration harness)
Any idea when these will hit the lots? I'm assuming they'll be available to get under MSRP as sales are slowing for new vehicles... thoughts?
They're on the lots now!! I would expect them to sell at MSRP for a while as they're a hot vehicle - we have a list of customers waiting for one currently. Thanks for watching!
The LT comes with a bench also
Correct - LT comes standard with 7 Passenger seating but the bench is available. I missed that before making this video
@@c.harperautogroup you're all good, just helping out
It'd be cool if I could get a Z71 Midnight Edition Traverse to match my Midnight Edition Z71 Silverado.
That would be sweet! Thanks for watching
For an LS trim…… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Right!!
Manual seats are a deal breaker for me. I may have to consider another trim.
I hear ya there. Wish it was an option or at least give 8 seat option on LT. Definitely look at least an LT for power seats
They have power lift gate but no power seats😮😮
Your arms don't work? Sorry I'm joking
No one mentions the shark blade on the side .. no one
Pricing for this trim with the midnight package seems fair to me.
I agree given how some vehicles that are much smaller cost similar or more
Agreed. I test drove a Nissan Pathfinder SV trim w/ convenience package back in November, and it was around $39k. Same class.
The following month, I nearly purchased a Santa Fe XRT trim the dealer was asking for $40.5k for it. I walked.
I dont really need 3rd row, but after seeing this Traverse review, it can't beat the value for the money. I am also doing some research on the Chevy Blazers as well.
Chevy shoulda kept the V6... or at least as an option.
That would be nice but definitely don’t count this four out. I was pleasantly surprised with the power
For what reason?
@@JulioMartinez-pc8pc Cause Turbo 4 Cyl is buzzy/loud.. . It's not the question of capability, its having preferences.
looks like the 2025 Buick enclave except for the front fascia or grill
The side profile is different from the 2025 Enclave. Now the 2025 Enclave and GMC Acadia do share the same side profile with different front/rear/interior styling.
Is it leaking already?
It was not
Which trim has memory seats?
You would need to get the RS trim level for Memory Seating
Is she leaking?
No leaks here!
No Hud, no fog lamps, a minimal turbo engine, nothing else?
This is the base model though that comes with a ton of standard features like heated seats/wheel, 17-in touchscreen with Navigation, etc. The turbo has more power than the previous model.
Hmmm I’ll stick with reliability Toyota Lexus
Can’t go wrong there. Thanks for watching
Where’s the beef under the hood ,give me the V8s, all show no go, lawn motor engines, garbage.
You can still get a Tahoe with a V8. The Traverse never offered one.
The taillights is a big waste, only a small portion of the lights actually light up!!! Chevy totally screwed that up, it doesn't work for me. Have to go with the GMC Acadia
The camera didn't completely pick up the full LED color - you might want to view it in person. Though the new Acadia is sweet. I'll have a video on it soon!
