      @joshlee6445 As someone who is a Rockets fan and watches all of the games, Sengun has unfortunately had a bit of a rocky history with the team. While he's indisputably the star of the team right now, there are some within the organization that have pitched making him a central trade piece for a big trade rather than going all in on building around him. The fact that he's struggled with his shot to start the year doesn't help that argument. I don't think he gets traded, but I hold to saying the Rockets would still be more willing to deal him than Amen.

      Rockets gm turned down a trade that would have brought Cleveland Jarrett Allen to the Houston and they didn’t even have an untouchable player to give Cleveland and that was when they had a sh$$ ton of talented Rookies on Roster.

  • @jerryzheng6148

    A main reason in which they don’t play the same is that they played the same growing up. Ausar being more off ball and Amen being the creator. They grew up doing different things together and that goes into their image as a draft prospect, and then their respective teams ask them to do slightly different things. The thing is, I see them acting more similar than I thought based on how they were as prospects, and that’s because they aren’t playing together. Amen is definitely playing better, but that’s because Ausar is ramping up from health complications and they brought in some other vets.

  • @TG-ct2uw
    @TG-ct2uw วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    The good thing about Ausar is that he doesn't need to be an elite offensive force right now. He has some time to grow into having more offensive upside. He is elite on defense, and was why he was drafted to Detroit. His defense helps to create points for the team. Plus he lost a lot of development time being out with the clots. Detroit loves him and there doesn't seem to be any indication that he is going to be a bust.
    If both of them put in the effort to improve their jump shot, they can be the face of the NBA moving forward. Their other abilities are really good, which means they don't have to focus as much on them and can focus more on their one major weakness. Their basketball IQs are off the charts.

    First I thought Amen might have just thrown Herro down because he was frustrated about getting cooked in such a unique way but watching the replay from another angle showed that Amen didn't get mad and toss him UNTIL Tyler started to walk into him and push him backwards.
    Amen was just playing hard and using his hands to keep him close and Herro didn't like it so then decided to push Amen back. Well Thompson wasn't having ANY OF THAT and tossed him.
    Seeing it from the proper angle will help you understand why Herro also got a game suspension, because he most certainly instigated that altercation. Amen just finished it.

    Their shot mechanics are off, definitely, and they need to figure out in real-time how to shoot. You can shoot in an empty gym and be perfect but it's different against actual competition. I don't think Amen will be moved unless it's a package involving a top-10 star, perhaps Ausar for a team that needs him and where Detroit gets an elite floor spacer, but with how Detroit is trending, they have a good core in Cade-Ivey-Ausar-Stewart-Duren for their future.

    Good video, but I have to disagree with you on a couple things. First, they are very similar in the way they play. How and why they are played are different. If they both had the same role on the same team, their performance would be very similar. I think Amen is a little better at offense, and Ausar is a little better at defense. But that's not to say that if they both worked on it, they could switch roles, they are that similar.
    And I have been watching them since they arrived in OTE, and I have seen their work ethic. They will not stop until they are both premiere shooters, I can guarantee you that. I would love to see the twins play together again, it's like they have a 6th sense and can read each others minds. Go watch some of the City Reapers highlights where they played together on the same team, it's amazing to watch.

Amen has the ability to run the offense specifically in transition, and in half court sets baby jokic can run the O with Amen being a screener/dunker possibilities are endless. He is already improving his jump shot compared to last year, and if he could someday become a 33-37% shooter he would be a top 5 player in the league.

    @jasonlindamood วันที่ผ่านมา

    Houston's front office and owner both look at Amen as a foundational piece. He will not be traded. Houston has a bevy of future draft picks to use in trades, as well as other young players (no matter if Jalen Green's value is down or not....) who they can move (i.e. Jabari Smith, Cam Whitmore, Tari Eason, etc...). Plus, Fred Van Vleet's is in the last year of a $43M contract (although the Rockets have a team option...), so there's almost no version of this where they would trade Amen considering his youth, the fact he's already a lock-down defender from 1 thru 4, a constant threat from the dunker spot, and -- realistically -- who is it you say you'd trade him for as part of a package? Durant at age 36? Butler at age 34? Nah, Houston's positioned to fleece Phoenix since they own most of their picks over the next few years so if the Suns ever decide they want to blow it up and start over their first call with be to the Rockets in order to get their picks back and tank accordingly. And, even if they do, Amen Thompson will not be part of the list of players available. Houston can stand pat, use Van Fleet's expiring contract next year (if they picked up his team option) along with picks to get whatever star player is on the market. The Rockets got really lucky in that lottery since the consensus was that after Wemby, Scoot, and Brandon Miller that there was a significant drop-off in talent. I'd take Amen or Ausar over Scoot right now (although Scoot's in a bad situation in Portland unfortunately...).

      @ got that makes sense just wanted to make sure. The rockets are the much better team with a better future in my opinion. They desperately need a number 1 scorer closing option and they could be Jalen, but he’s been inconsistent in that. And I think if they get some consistency in their offense they could be come true nba contenders. Where as the pistons still seem like there have 3-4 years before there super competitive, but do have some good pieces in Cade, ausur and Duran. Tobias was a bad signing but isn’t necessarily a bad player. Tim is a good shooter which is something they need especially to open the floor for Cade drives and ausur lobs. The Thompson twins are amazing. I do agree they are not good shooters but amen has shown that he could develop somewhat of a junpshot, but both very young and raw at that. Good thing is they are elite at other things.

    Dude it’s Jalen green sengun and then amen amen is the best player because he’s elite on both ends amen can’t shoot both he has great handle finish at the rim rebound offense and defense that’s the rockets future if anybody gets traded on the rockets it’s tari and cam tari can’t stay healthy he’s great when he plays but hasn’t been reliable cam shit more is too arrogant and isn’t a winning player he gone get you a bucket but if he can’t you u a bucket he’s going to make shots until he does and be made that he had a bad night make dumb plays reed sheppard hasn’t shown anything good so far amen ain’t going anywhere and with Jabari with him being injured and how bad our defense has gotten the value and stock of Jabari in my opinion has risen so Jabari amen Jalen and sengun should not be going anywhere any time soon everybody else can go I really don’t think or see Dillion brooks going anywhere because he’s young but a vet contributes he’s just a great basketball player
