Appreciate someone talking about him! He's coming off minutes restriction from blood clots. He will easily average 10 rebounds a game starting (he was much of last year and continues when starting this year) He guards 1-5 and last night had 5 steals in 10 minutes. Vs Orlando he had 5 steals. And his shot is so much better since last year. Can't wait
Great vid! Also worth mentioning is that Fred Vincent, a great shooting coach was hired by the Pistons this season. And the Thompson brothers have fantastic work ethic also. I believe he'll improve a lot
He will never be running the offense as a point forward like Pippen. I assume you meant purely from a defensive perspective, an athletic shut down wing.
I'm not sure about that either, but since Ausar is Amen's twin, I'm always gonna have respect for him and want him to do good. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Ausar being on the Rockets ☺️
People still sleeping on Ausar, I believe he’s a much better defender than his brother but they both are amazing. Ausar is starting to get even more comfortable on the offensive end with his dribbling and passing!
Amen has been just as good defensively and has done it more consistently in more minutes. They are both awesome, no need to tear one down to build the other up!
It’s interesting. His athletic gifts are immense. His offensive skill is atrocious. He might be the worst shooter in the nba and really hates breaking down his man. But. The athletic gifts are so so rare
Detroit is a terrible fit for him, and he will be wasted on that team. Plus, they don’t know what to do with him, they don’t know how to use him, and they don’t seem to understand what have in him either. Seems like the Pistons are more interested in developing their other players.

Facts
him and his brother are both freaks of nature athletically
Pistons went from tough-to-watch last season to fun-to-watch this season. The addition of Ronald Holland II has helped too. #GoPistons
I was there at the game, bro we are so happy to have him here in Detroit! This guy compliments Cade so much, a very good duo.
Best on ball defender on the team. If he is healthy he needs to play more.
Great vid! Also worth mentioning is that Fred Vincent, a great shooting coach was hired by the Pistons this season. And the Thompson brothers have fantastic work ethic also. I believe he'll improve a lot
He can be the Dennis Rodman of this iteration of the Pistons. Wondrous talent
Scottie pipen

The twins are good to be all stars
Agree.he's special for sure.
He was getting help with his shooting mechanics in the off season so once he have a healthy off season unlike last he can improve
No shade to his brother who is also a good player but I think Ausar is a the better of the two
i dont know about that. but i respect it. hes in the mix but amen has a way better handle
Not even close, Amen averages 17 point as starter and he’s the best defender on the better team.
I'm not sure about that either, but since Ausar is Amen's twin, I'm always gonna have respect for him and want him to do good. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Ausar being on the Rockets ☺️
Amen is BY FAR the better offensive talent at this point. Ausar is basically a rim runner until his dribble game improves.
@@OliverNTwiztedCompany thats exactly my mindset
We’ve been trash for so long we deserve a player like this!!! The lions are killing it & the pistons up & running!!!
About damn time
Literally just watched a video, about his brother, you literally said what he said word for word 😂😂😂 crazy
People still sleeping on Ausar, I believe he’s a much better defender than his brother but they both are amazing. Ausar is starting to get even more comfortable on the offensive end with his dribbling and passing!
A better defender than Amen? You need some evidence of this because it just isn't possible.
Amen has been just as good defensively and has done it more consistently in more minutes. They are both awesome, no need to tear one down to build the other up!
Second Pistons video in 2 weeks.. You could make one about Ivey too. Our team is full of upcoming stars
Someone on the pistons said he floats when he jumps.
If we get Jaden back for playoffs we could make some noise
Ausur is listed at 6,7 in most basketball website but on google it says 6,6 he def taller than 6,6 cade is about 6,5 and he seems quite a bit taller
From combine measurements, Ausar should be 6'7" w/shoes.
Jaylen Brown BREAKDOWN you're next video Romp 2.0 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
"One twin had a better game one day so he's better." 🙄 They're both gonna be great, just leave it at that! 😒
My waiver wire demon
?
Amen Thompson with 21 pts 16 rebs against LeBron James.
Needs to developers a jumper
Defensively, they're both even. But Amen is better offensively while also being more athletic
Ausars the better defender lmao always has been
Man def taller than 6'6''. More like 6'8''
His measurements pre draft was 6’5 and 3/4 without shoes
@ well then everybody’s height is skewed. Jordan was 6’6’’. He’s obviously taller than Mike was.
@@pickleman5041 They literally got those measurements at the combine so unless he grew since then he’s 6’5 and 3/4
@pickleman5041 he was 6 6 roughly when he was drafted, if developed correctly, definitely super athletic
Ausar is the same height as Ron Holland, who is 6'8".
It’s interesting. His athletic gifts are immense. His offensive skill is atrocious. He might be the worst shooter in the nba and really hates breaking down his man. But. The athletic gifts are so so rare
Ausar Thompson I hope plays for the Rockets in the Future.
Can't shoot. Next bs, please.
I mean you're not wrong. I'm a pistons fan and no lies were told.
What that means?
@@AnthonyJones-j6g it means you can't read.

Bro if your not a detroit fan worried bout your own team and players cause yall not getting asur he will stay in detroit
As someone who follows this team everyday, that’s not the sentiment here whatsoever 😂
Bro doesn't have a clue 😂😂😂
You're wrong.... He's a perfect fit . And we're a different team now . They all are developing as a whole.
I know he should come play for the Rockets with his bro 😊
