I’ve been to some very shallow beaches before but White Sand is one of the most shallow yet. I never did find a drop off, I could’ve gone out quite a bit further!

Pete, I think you set a record for being the first TH-camr to do an entire video from the water. (: And it is good to see another human being as pale as me, 555. Koh Chang has been on my list for a long time and hopefully next year is the time. My last time to the region I opted for Koh Lipe, and it was amazing. But Koh Chang looks great as well and easier to get to. Always good to see your shows. Take care.
I’ve said for many years that I’m about a shade and a half above albino 555
I was there last year at Sohngkran. Had a great time too.
Nice to go to the other side for a day trip to the mangroves.
Had an awesome meal at a small family run restaurant on their pier/restaurant, where they cook up their morning catch.
Plenty of good small family restaurants there.
I really don’t have anything negative to say about the island at all. It’s a wonderful place and I look forward to going back soon.
Koh Chang is cool, spent a day there. Catching a ferry from there down to koh kood and koh mak is also really nice too :)
I definitely want to check out Koh Kood the next time I go.

KOH (island in Thai) is pronounced with a soft (o) like in the word GOT. Just say GOT without sounding out the letter (t). That’s how you correctly pronounce KOH.

I was more miffed with saying Chang (so many say it with the long A like in baby but I over correct and tend to say Chong)

Such a great question and I answered it when filming this morning… that vlog will be released on Sunday.
There’s 3 main reasons and maybe a couple smaller supporting ones but a lot of it came down to wanting something to focus on.

Mostly tourists… there are some lady bars but we only went to them one night. It’s nothing like Pattaya
