I met her on the road this tour and she was 1. Incredible to see live and 2. So kind when I met her after the show. I asked her some gear questions and she was happy to answer and chat. Class act, and wow was the live show good. Incredible musician and person.
I just saw her perform and chatted with her in person like 2h ago. One of the best live shows i’ve seen in my life and what a nice and welcoming person she is
i feel like she's gone a bit quiet over the last year or two so this is awesome to see, so glad she's still workin and performing because she's fantastic
Anyone can see how talented and beautiful she is, but the best thing is that she’s such a super nice, humble, and down to earth person. She’s just a regular girl who loves music and is really good at it. And a real inspiration to independent musicians everywhere. Sweetwater couldn’t have a better example for their business.
The crazy thing is, you could hear her play only the drums, and be absolutely blown away. The fact that she plays everything else and has an incredible voice is absolutely mindblowing.
Totally amazing artist is Elise so incredible how she plays every instrument so beautifully. Looping is a perfect way to appreciate your awesome talent. Oh yeah last but certainly not least her voice is something very SPECIAL also. Great spotlight really enjoyed it👏
I randomly stumbled across her song "you get what you want" i think it was called. And it was so catchy and well put together, i was just blown away with what this girl has been able accomplish.
I've never heard of this person. In the 80s, I didn't meet other girls playing instruments so I clicked on this. I really liked the music featured here. And I always love hearing people talk about their tools/instruments. Thx for this. I'll be checking out her other music.
Elise must command a million details with all the tech at play in her live shows; so many things that could go awry. I wonder what she does for in-ear monitors.
Great stuff! Good to see you're still going at it. Stay pure, never give into the madness of the fame and fortune, your sincerity and humility is beautiful.
Great! Here's hoping she'll be touring Europe and, more specifically, the Netherlands and Belgium (as I suspect her family's roots are somewhere around there. And, admission of my laziness, it'll be so much easier to visit her concert and promote her music to my friends if she does the travelling instead of us.
Очень женственная, преисполненная внутреннего достоинства натура! Этого не ждешь от современных западных женщин, но тут я в восхичении от красоты внутренней и внешней, и от таланта! Вы прекрасны!
What an extraordinary talent! I can't imagine playing all those instruments and dealing with the tech solo. I have no idea who this artist is but now I'm very interested to learn.
Is Elise Trouw a music graduate? Or did she at point in his life, ever had a formal or informal music lessons from experts or non-experts, famous or not so famous? This lady exudes talent on a high level. Thanks for any information.
One thing I don't understand is why she doesn't use a hands-free headset mic. Is the sound quality not good? Hard to set up? Many high end performers use them - do they have to invest or have specialized tech to do so? It would allow her to play all her instruments (!) more easily.
what kind of a world are we building that in ano 2923 we cannot make music with fellow musicians and instead use all this technology to avoid making music together just because we are all so egotistical
“Egotistical” is hardly the appropriate word for using tech because you couldn’t afford touring musicians, we’re also not “building” anything it’s been this way for quite a while where if a solo musician wishes to they may work essentially on their own (like decades). And while even I can say something can be lost compared to multiple musicians creating in a studio/stage, that a lot of these musicians including the one in this video do play with other artists as well as on their own.
I guess so (at least I am) but I hate to deal with lazy people that does not want to put some effort into making something special instead of copies of radio pop
You don’t understand reality. She might like to tour with a band, but if she had to, she couldn’t afford it. And doing everything herself is how she got attention in the first place. It’s what she’s known for. This is what being a “working class” musician looks like in 2023.
There are numerous videos of Elise performing with other musicians. Seek them. One of the big things about her style is the solo / loop concept. Though it does leave some musical details a bit on the simple side, I rather like it.

Her technical knowledge of the gear tells me she's a nerd at heart. That's just happens to be awesome at music!
Elise is one of my favorite artists - thanks for this great spotlight!

Fantastic video! thank you! I'm new to looping and love seeing someone who knows what they are doing!
Besides her musical talent, she actually knows all her gear, the what and why, and the how. Really impressive.
Elise is unfairly talented at an entire band’s worth of instruments. Also a killer songwriter. I’m always so glad to see her getting exposure!

I have loved watching your career blossom since your earlier beginnings! Keep on making waves, Elise!!

Probably my favorite new artist. Totally unique and brilliant.
Talented artist 🎶😎
She is a quick change artist. It's like watching a magic show. Looping is very cool. You never get kicked out of the band. 😅
Elise is a mega talent. Her timing and groove is just off the charts. Amazing artist
You've got a beautiful mind Elise. Good luck.
Awesome interview!! I am impressed and because of you @Sweetwater, I am going to look her up!!! Thanks!!!
Dude, i don't know anything about her until now. She's an inspiration and badass!!!
Saw her in San Antonio this year and she killed it!
Keep it up girl, you're an inspiration and a vision.
Fascinating !
Elise is great! Thanks for this!
Saw her a few months ago in Manhattan with Hannah Trager, this was sick!
Loved seeing you in Nashville! Incredible show.
Great stuff! Good to see you're still going at it. Stay pure, never give into the madness of the fame and fortune, your sincerity and humility is beautiful.
Wonderful talented person
Su voz es tan suave como si fuera un ángel, todo un gusto auditivo.
Amazing as usual

Wait - she plays and sings brilliantly AND speaks tech?? Be still my heart....
Such a pretty girl, and such a talent.
This is a nice rundown. ❤
wow, that was cool
... liked it very much !!!
I think she’s amazing. I jump to buy anything new from her.

One thing I learned from this video is that I've been pronouncing "Paiste" incorrectly for 40 years!
Her pronounciation isn't correct. Paiste is an Estonian name, thus any kind of Engllish pronounciation is wrong.

gorgeouss

What stage is that? Also is that acoustic treatment behind her?
What if she makes a mistake? The loop keeps going or she has a way to repeat the programing?
What is this location?
Is there no one behind the scenes helping to mix these?

I have not met you. Or have I? . I do remember an encounter could very well be you. Reno former MGM hotel elevator waiting.
Anyway it’s time again.
Good commercial, lass.

Never heard of a one (wo)man band huh
