When he said “click track” I thought really? Yeah Elise doesn’t need or want a click track. Her musical abilities are off the charts, but she’s also a computer genius. I understand the basic framework of how she creates one of those looping tracks. The execution of it it amazing. She said sometimes she needs 20 takes to get the whole thing right. That’s all? In addition to singing and playing all of the instruments for each of the many loops, she has to remember *exactly* where to record each snippet, what it is, and how long it needs to be. The imagination and mental organization to make that happen just blows my mind.
