Without the marketing-millions today it is hard to become famous to "waitress lucy smith" and get on top of the charts. To people that like and enjoy good music she IS a huge star. If she earns enough money to make what she likes Elise go on doing your thing. You will inspire a lot of people with your creativity.
Your voice is worth listening to very closely because you exercise such wonderful control and nuance. You sing with great subtlety and control that might be missed if not heard through to the release. Your teachers have taught you well. I saw you at the Lava Cantina in Texas where so much of that was unfortunately buried in the muddiness created by their sound system. Looking forward to new material and a bright career for you.
