Greetings from Australia; I absolutely love your channel Ling. I am going to immediately hop out of bed now and cook this dish for my family.
Haha, wonderful! Thank you for loving😊
麵粉和太白粉的比例?
I just made it. I put the fried fish pieces in a fish taco and it was so good. It’s also good as a stand alone snack, it’s very addicting because it’s crispy and crunchy. I sprinkled coarse sea salt on the fish pieces when they came out of the frying pan and OMG, so good!!!
Great idea, Jenny 👍 Asian fusion fish tacos 😋
You can put in your fish tacos a mexican souce is verys easy, tomato, onion and green chile, salt and a few lemon

Glad you are here 👏
Happy Chinese New Year Ling. I made a 4 course Chinese dishes and the family loved it. On this new year, I would to thank retired Chinese chefs for teaching me how to cook at home. This weekend, it's my mother in law's birthday and she wants a Chinese meal so a 3 or possible 4 course meal will be in store for her. As for your dish I've tried before, I used 3 different types of cooking oils and I find sunflower works best. Happy Year of the Rabbit Ling. Hugs.
Please send my birthday wishes to you mother in law. All the best to your family!
Ling, you are such a pleasant lady. Thank you for your channel!

@@ChineseHealthyCook good so far thanks for asking Ling 🥰
I love how you coordinated the lucky color red with your shirt and lipstick - very pretty on you!
Thanks Nick. Red is a lucky color for Chinese 🧧
I used your technique to fry squid rings. They were delicious! Thank you.
Good job 👍
@@ChineseHealthyCook Btw, I love your videos. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from your techniques. Thanks for taking the time to produce them. 😸
Happy New Year Ling & Ray
Best wishes always 🎉
Brenda
Thanks Brenda from Ling & Ray 🤗
I have an old cookbook by Irene Kuo and she calls this technique "velveting." I have done it with many things going into a stir fry. This fish looks great and healthier than most battered fried fish recipes.
Thank you 😊
Oh Yum Ling. You have such a beautiful channel filled with great recipes. So happy I have been a long-time subscriber. Happy Chinese New Year. Love from Ky. 🐇🐇♥♥
Without the support from all of you, I wouldn’t have a channel. Thank you!

❤❤❤❤❤
My mouth is watering...maybe it can form a pond for the tasty little fish pieces to land in 😊
So good 😋
DRY DIP. That is a completely unheard of concept for me... I LOVE IT. Dip seems to be just oil and egg and shit that makes you fat. I will DEFINATELY try this one! THANKS!
Hi 👋 ,
Because of my Heart Condition I am glad your using egg whites and I would have to substitute the Vegetable Oil for Canola Oil ..
Looks very delicious 😋 !!
Thank You ..
Or rice bran oil is good too.
I actually used canola oil but other high heat oil works too 😊
I found out that Vegetable Oil has Omega-6 which is not good ..
Canola Oil may have a lower heat point it is very Healthy for my Heart .. 🤗
I thrive on anything with Omega-3 .. 😋

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thank you, Anthony 😊
Hi Ling,
Do you have a recipe for cha shu?
No, sorry
Look great, what about salmon 😋
I never tried salmon. It should work too.
Hi Ling,
My fish sticks didn’t get crispy like yours. I followed directions but they were soft. Can you tell me what may have gone wrong?
The dry dip was amazing.
Did you fry on high heat?
@@ChineseHealthyCook
Hi Ling,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I will try it again on higher heat.
You are my favorite chef. I love watching your videos and I try almost all your recipes. Your cute personality while cooking is so much fun to watch. I never thought I could cook Chinese foods until I discovered you. Thank you💕
@@ChineseHealthyCook
hi Ling, I tried in higher heat and it was much better. It was crispy and delicious. Thank you.
Also, do you have a recipe for a dry rub for ribs?
I
do egg whites into the corn starch not make a slurry?
The batter is in a way another form of slurry 😆
What vegetable oil did you use please? Grapeseed, sunflower, rapeseed, corn ? These are actually seed oils, but they are called "vegetable oil ".
Actually I used canola oil but any vegetable oil should work.
@@ChineseHealthyCook Thank you.😊
Excuse me,this recipe can be prepare with shrimps?
Yes you can try with shrimp.
@@ChineseHealthyCook thank you Ling!
Stop easting yome. Get on eith it.😊
I was born in the year of the Rabbit.
All the best 🧧🧧
@@ChineseHealthyCook I like this recipe.
I'm busy sorry😂
I just accidentally put powdered sugar instead of cornstarch… well here goes this experiment lol
How did it come out?
Sweet fish sticks 😆
That's not flounder that's basa
She should know her fish Asians will eat anything that moves flounder is a really flat fish that lives on the bottom of the ocean
It was basa. Not sure how I was mistaken. Thanks!
I hate to say this but flounder is highly contaminated, all of it, and on the endangered list due to over fishing. It is a bottom feeder and therefore vulnerable to all the toxins that drift to the bottom of the ocean. Please use something else that is more appropriate. Thanks.
