      Number 1: don't do the ditto taunt. If your opponent does, punish the shit out of it, and taunt after he's lost a stock.
      2: DownB spike/DownA spike whenever possible
      3. If your opponent is on their last stock and has no chance to recover, and you have 2+ stocks, Sd before they die and taunt when you respawn if possible.
      4. *spam the shit outta them stale moves*
      6. Stay inconsistent and change strategies mid-game to confuse your opponent, leading to highly punishable mistakes, and highly disrespectful ways to kill.
      5. teabag if you get a shield break (don't do the following if it is your opponents last stock) and if possible, warlock punch them to the furthest blast zone for added disrespect
      7. Mid-air SideB spike your opponent if possible to screw over your opponents ledge guard, leading to highly punishable positions/forced recovery options if they have a chance to survive.
      8: *up-tilt if they try to attack from above*
      9: in 2/3 or 3/5 matches say "thou hath commited a great sin, and must be punished" if they win the first match then go for a fully offensive strategy, forcing your opponent to go for a defensive strategy, and show no mercy.
      10: if you break your opponents shield on their last stock, stand next to them, roll behind them, pause the game, and say "Omae wa mou shindeiru" (pronounced "oh'mai wa moh'oo shih'ndeh'eeru") then unpause and warlock punch them

    Here I was thinking the grounded cyclone between stocks was just something Luigi mains did. Like a weird ritualistic APM spam similar to multishines. I had absolutely no idea there was this much mechanical depth behind it. Luigi truly is wack.
    I'm all for Mewtwo lessons. I would say Doc/Mario, but I think those characters are very intuitive when it comes to how to play them and there are already videos on the channel about them. Mewtwo is more confusing, so it could be really nice with some proper tutorials.

    Good video! But you should have also shown the hitbox of Down-B in the air, because there are some quite interesting differences. The "first" hitbox is quite larger than on the ground and there is a hitbox between his feet right from the start.

      You can do it while landing in Melee. The window for it is just really tight, so you have to press z really close to the ground.

      @YURTZYN42 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used to play young link. Hold Z just as you land. So what you can do is a full jump bomb and just before you land you hold Z so that in case it blows up yo dont hurt yourself.

  • @Gullshunter
    @Gullshunter 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    What would be nice to add to the channel:
    You already have some character tutorials.
    What you should do is to also have a brief character matchup tutorial (ex.: Luigi vs top 8 characters where you go on what to look for and how to act in general situation in each matchup. This would maybe be 15-20 min video (so not too much in depth) and would be a great help for the community i think since most of low level play is to learn the matchups)

  • @ARAGHOSTA
    @ARAGHOSTA 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A guide for Doctor Mario would be nice.
    try to cover stuff to pratice (aside from upb cancel pls), his best/worst matchup, his main strenghts and weaknesses

An entry-level exploit video for one of the game's most obscure characters would be really fun & very appreciated over here :)

  • @SkiingxMoose.
    @SkiingxMoose. 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think what would be good is videos explaining common neutral game mistakes and how good players punish them: Examples include, predictable double jumps immediately out of hitstun; tech rolling in when your opponent acts like they're covering tech roll away.
    Edit: I also think videos on low tiers are going to requested more often than they're useful to the general audience.

    Dr Mario combos and neutral

  • @bradyroose9401
    @bradyroose9401 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think you should start a series on what the fundamental tech each character had and a general order to learn the tech afterwards.
    The fundamental tech is tech you need to play a character in the same style the pros do. So if a Luigi can't smash di, he won't live to as high of percents as the pros who can, but he won't need to do things fundamentally different then they would. But if a Luigi can't wave dash, he needs to find fundamentally different ways to traverse the stage and play neutral. So, for Luigi, wavedashing would be a fundamental tech and smash di wouldn't.
    Then once you listed the fundamental tech for a character, you could expand by giving a general order to which to learn the more advanced tech. A fox eventually should know how to ledge stall and edge cancel his side b. But you should probably learn the basic ledge stalls first... and just give an order to the categories of tech each character has. Possibly even adding a really late step where you can start trying to discover your own tech.
    This would help newer players have an easier time picking up and improving their characters.
    If you need a character to start with: falco, Marth, and captain falcon seem to be the most common characters for newer players

    I want to see character-specific DOUBLES tactics. Personally I want more Luigi, but I'll take any character. I think this would make it more useful for everyone, since it would be useful for all doubles players and not just the specific character main. I want to see what individual characters are looking for in a doubles scenario and in a doubles partner, and the roles said character usually take. The other doubles videos were a good general start, but I think doubles is generally under-covered.

    Please do a video in the future about Pikachu. I'm talking about the weird glitches I've seen Axe do on some of his streams. I've seen Pikachu teleport across a stage by being hit by Yoshi eggs and other weird bugs.

    It would really help if you made a how to beat peach video. There are hardly any peach mains at the level I'm at and I'd like to be prepared for the niche matchup.

    Comment war: I'd like to learn more about G&W. Even though he's not viable, I'd still love to learn about how is down-B stacks damage, or just his side-b alone

    I would love some more videos about Luigi. Also, I want to know more about ganandorf. he was my first main and I can four stock all my friends with him but I don't have much tech skill with him.

    Please, please, please do a video on Yoshi's dair. I know it's supposed to be possible to do 50% using it just once, but I've never managed to deal the full amount in an actual match, I don't know if it's even actually possible. Usually I just deal 20-30%, I'm only able to hit with the full 50% in homerun contest. If there's some method to hit the full amount consistently, knowing about it would seriously help Yoshi players out. Like, a lot.

      Isn't this because of move staling? Each hit that connects makes the move stale and do less percent, but moves don't become stale in HRC. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what's happening.

      it's not really feasible to do that much damage with his dair in an actual match. usually it can be DI'd out of and doesnt have followups
