How to REMOVE DASH PANEL UPPER MOULDING | Maserati Quattroporte M139

- This video shows how I removed the dash panel upper moulding. After the wiper cowl, it is the second thing that needs to be done to gain access to the top rear of the engine.
I'm doing this for two reasons. Firstly, because I've got oil leaking from the cam cover gaskets on both sides of the engine, so the cam covers need to be removed and new gaskets fitted.
Secondly, I've got an engine warning light on the dashboard. Using an ODB2 diagnostic tool, I've obtained the fault code and this suggests there could be a problem with a variator control solenoid valve or phase sensor.

Thank you for your kind message. Lots more coming next few weeks. Cam cover removal both sides, vapour blasted and Cerakote coated cam covers, gaskets, variator valve control solenoid replacement, electronic shifter, back box delete, rolling road, clutch wear calc etc.
