  • Welcome to my step-by-step guide on removing the rear bumper on my 2006 Maserati Quattroporte!
Why did I remove the rear bumper? Well, I was hit up the back end by a van, causing damage to the boot and bumper.
You may find this video helpful if you are doing a DIY rear parking sensor replacement, because the bumper must be removed to do this.
Removing the rear bumper on the Maserati should take around one hour. However, it took me two hours because it is the first time I have removed it since owning the car and whoever worked on the car in the past failed to apply any anti-seize grease. As a result of this, quite a few of the bolts snapped off and I had to use a drill and grinder to remove them.
In a future video, I will show how I deal with repairing those snapped bolts.

Thanks , thanks. Very useful for my towbar project. Bumper had to be removed for this and thanks to you it was an easy job. However , It wasn't necessary to remove the amplifier on my 2007 QP .

Great job Adrian, thanks for what you do. This is off topic, but you know what I would love to see for M139s? Accessible wiring diagrams. I’ve look at every resource, including alldata, Mitchell ondemand, some “factory” manuals you find online, and I cannot find a single wiring diagram anywhere. If you know of a source, please inform me.
