I just got one. Blade touches the show side scale. Blade play unless you tighten it so tight the action sucks. Two chips in the blade. One near the belly and the other by the plunge grind. My blade has a recurve sharpened into it. Huge gaps on one side of the backspring and uneven backspring on the open position. This is the 4th tactile knife that I’ve bought with issues.
@@Zac_Szuberski every knife I’ve had from them has had issues and I hear stuff like what you’re saying from a lot of people. It’s crazy that they keep doing this
I think Tactile is overhyped, noticed already on other videos that quality is not that impressive ... yet many people do not notice but at that pricepoint ... not acceptable regarding QC, there is a third option. QC has the instruction that these knives are ok to send out, within tolerance and only changed if customer complains ...
That’s definitely possible. In which case they need a complete overhaul of their outgoing QC requirements. I’d like to believe a smaller American company like them isn’t purposefully releasing products into the wild that have huge glaring issues, but it wouldn’t be the first time…
100% agreed, I really want to like this knife because the machining work on it is really nice and it’s such a thin slicey blade, but there’s no way I’m recommending it if I have to go through 3 to find one with good QC

I just got one and it feels like metal on metal when opening and shutting. Compared to an ohio river jack I have, the action is night and day.
They’re they’re rough…
@@justified_edc I found a burr on the tang. Hopefully that fixes it
Sad they're amazing looking. QC issues should be addressed before they even ship imo..
