@@kblue4506 I’m assuming you’re talking about the leather sheath for the Izula? The sheath stays in the pocket when you draw it because it’s using a Discreet Carry Concepts clip which is a cloth grabbing clip. It’s easy enough to re-sheath, although I still prefer the rigidity of kydex for ease of re-sheathing.

@@joe_a_photo editing helps for sure, and I’ll start doing more of it eventually, but the content of the video is what matters. The difference between people like metal complex and me is those channels have massive amounts of Chinese product being sent to them constantly. Everything I make videos on is either because I’ve developed a relationship with the maker or I’ve bought it myself. I have a lot of the Chinese companies in my DM’s and email wanting to send me stuff, but that’s not what I’m about.

@@TheoVannX no they’re a bit smaller than that. You wouldn’t be able to use bits in them even if they were the right size though because the lighter would be in the way. That being said, you could definitely store some of those micro bits in there if you wanted bit driving capability

Maker here: actually they were resized to 1/4” on the final version. There is a margin on this so bits should fit in just fine.

When did I say that? I said having eye pro is a good thing. Some people (myself included) go shooting on a whim and I for one don’t keep my entire range bag with me at all times so having glasses that are already on me that I can use to go shooting is nice. Maybe think for 30 seconds next time before commenting.

I’ve never had a problem getting them on or off. I know a lot of people seem to but I guess I’ve just been using them on everything for years now so I don’t even think about it.

I haven’t tried one yet but I’m very curious about them. I may reach out and see if they’re interested in me doing a review on them

That does sound annoying. The one I had was super solid lockup with no play at all.

@@justified_edc being a lock back I’m confident enough to use it because I don’t really hard use my knives. But sucks that I can’t or don’t know how to fix it.

@@MAGR1994 this probably voids the warranty, but you can always take something soft like a piece of leather, place it over the pinned pivot and give it a few taps with a ball peen hammer. That’s really the only way to adjust the pivot on a pinned knife without taking it completely apart

In a lot of cases this is unfortunately true

If you’re going to purchase hardware to use on the stock sheath I’d recommend going with a Discreet Carry Concepts clip. They’re the same idea as ulticlip where they grab the material of your pocket but much more simple and sleek. I’d recommend one of the small pocket clip/behind the belt sizes (Mod 2 and variants)

Yeah man Box Creek killed it on the trapper. Unfortunately I’m already having QC issues with the Sharpfinger. Sending it back and getting a replacement as we speak. Hopefully round 2 is better lol

It would definitely make a nice little bird and trout style fixed blade or even just a super slicey edc knife. I forgot they made that version with the lanyard/sheath.
