I hope that the tips presented in this video helped people eliminate Windows file corruption. I also hope that their PCs run much better than before! At the end of the video, I talk about a program called MalwareBytes Antimalware. Often times, simply running a malware scan and letting the program remove everything that is found can make a *BIG* impact on the PC's performance. Feel free to leave me a comment with your experiences and how everything went. Cheers! -- Jason 😀

I have an odd issue - Windows 10 Pro/Intel i5 3 series. I managed to delete the Programable interrupt controller and have not found any solution for reinstalling it. It is a MS product for the CPU. Any ideas other than reinstalling Windows? Thanks

Hi! There is a "trick" you can try. It's called a Windows "Repair" install. Essentially you can download the latest Windows 10 .ISO file from Microsoft at: www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and then right-click it and select "Mount". You'll see the "virtual DVD" show up in the Windows Explorer. Double click on the new virtual drive and run the Setup.exe program contained within it.
That will start the Windows 10 installation program as an "In-place-upgrade" or "Repair Install". Click through the menus and then you'll reach a point where it says that it will keep your data files AND applications. Make sure that is selected! Continue forward and your Windows installation will be freshly reinstalled on top of itself and most errors will be eliminated. The Microsoft hardware detection and scan runs during this process, so I bet it will pick up the drivers you are missing. I may make a video about this in the near future. I hope this helps! -- Jason :)

@@JasonBagnell I was thinking about - Reset this PC/Keep files via Update Menu. Is this much the same as you mentioned? Thanks

@ethimself5064 “Reset this PC” will remove all of your programs and apps from the computer, causing you a lot of work to get everything running again. The Windows 10 “repair install” keeps everything just as it is now and refreshes the current Windows Operating System files/drivers/etc. - Jason

If you decide to use the Windows "Reset this PC" program, I have a popular video about it here: th-cam.com/video/zW2v3M_xFVY/w-d-xo.html The video is more aimed at erasing ALL of the old data and letting it secure erase the hard drive, but you could select the "Keep my files option" and don't bother to do the "Clean data: Yes" because you're not selling or discarding the computer. Thanks -- Jason
