£9000 sounds like a decent price. I made an enquiry last week about selling my 13 month old Yamaha Tracer GT with £1000 worth of extras and 3100 miles. I have a back injury sustained back in 1966, yes I’m that old 😂, playing me up now and thinking my riding days might be over, hence thinking of selling. So a bike that would have cost nearly £11,000 OTR, okay didn’t pay that as I got £1,000 off the list price and £1,000 worth of free extras, fitting extra. They texted me with a price of £4,400, I texted them back is this a joke, then got the call basically saying they were doing me a favour. I said are you are having a laugh and I would rather keep the bike in my garage for ever rather than sell it for that price, I’m not desperate for £4,400. The bike is immaculate as well, always someone trying to rip you off.
‘I left it for a week and it started straight away” whaaaat. So it should. Ive a 1959 RE Constellation and leave it for a week and it starts first kick! What does that mean. Great bike you have there I do like retros but only have older bikes now. Keep em coming thnx
Thanks buddy... The reason I mentioned it started first time after a week is because previously I owned 2 Honda CB100R's which have built in trackers which drain the battery and if you leave them for a week you'll find the battery is dead
Reminds me of when I was a kid in the 70's. Dad used to say to mum, "I'll go and see if I can get the car started" about half an hour before we were going anywhere. He usually returned with the distributor cap in hand. My mum would already have the oven on a low heat, ready to receive said component 😂. Kids of today...
I presume, if you are still looking for an Enfield; you know of Haywards at Cambridge? Just superb when they were Guzzi dealers, and I bought my Norge from them.
Still loving my t120 but would have Kawasaki if I had room and money! The yellow ball does look amazing. I rode the 650rs recently and was not very impressed. It felt cheap compared to triumph and overall boring. I assume 900 is a step up?! I’ve also refallen for my classic 350 after polishing the engine cases 😄….. but now I don’t want to take it out as it will get dirty 🤦🏻♂️
Glad your still loving the T120 Tim... I found the 650 way too small and yes to me it felt way cheaper looking, the 900s fit and Finish is incredible! Yes don't take the classic out till the spring mate! Or sell it to me?! 😂😂😂

Yellow-ball's were selling at Cradley Kawasaki in the West Mids for £8695 a few months ago shortly after they came out. They had a few in stock , there were 3 in the showroom (1 sold) when I was there and apparently more on the way ... I must admit I was tempted.
When I was looking the cheapest I found a yellow ball for was £9695....Cradley have now only got the Diablo Black one for £9695....£8695 for a yellow ball is an incredible price and bet they all got sold very quickly!!
I'm back! I know... egads, can we ditch him? 😂 The subscriber did make a good offer. Good on you for keeping the Z900RS, it's dead sexy! Have a Holly Jolly Christmas Willie!
Willie, have you ridden a classic 350 since owning the T120 and z900 ? I tried one when they first came out, it was so slow it was funny 😂, is that the attraction?
It takes me a few miles to "recalibrate" after riding my T120. But after that it's love again 💘. Mind you, I have to be careful not to counter-steer into the nearest hedge 😂
I agree with you Mate (Aussie here) as I love my Yellow Ball RS. Mine is the SE model, and I love the Braking and Handling but don’t really know if it is any better than Kawasaki. I have to say though, I really love the green Yellow Ball colour more than the black. As I am 69 and this is the thirtieth motorcycle I have owned, I genuinely believe it will be my last. I am enjoying it so much in every aspect. Especially tight winding roads. There ain’t no “chicken strips” on my tyres, even though they are the standard ones that most new owners hate.
Hi Jeff, Im so glad your loving the RS as much as I do! They really are incredible bikes! If it turns out to be your last bike then you've ended up with a beut mate 😜
Hahaha so funny i`m a Dutchman living in Malaysia my name is Willi and i own a yellow ball which is about 9 months old never really find the time to ride it has only 400km = about 250 miles on the clock The things that i added to my bike is a Puig windscreen (model bat) a radiator guard chrome crash bars Shad luggage rack with 48 liter top box a phone holder. If any one would offer me RM 60k i think i would sell mine I really cant find the time to ride. The weather in Malaysia these days also gives rain many times and i never ride my bike in the rain not that i`m scared or anything like that i just hate to see it get all dirty Any ways merry Christmas and happy to you lets pay for peace around the world and free Palestine so that those people also can return to their homes Ride safe keep the shiny side up
Willie: “Hey guys, I love my leaf blower. I have a big grin on my face everyday while using it. I’d never sell this thing.” Next day: Hey guys, do you know how I said I’d never sell my leaf blower…” Rinse and repeat. 🤣😂🤣👍👍 Dat a boy Willie.
Decent offer to be fair. I just sold my 500 Rebel. It was loaded with accessories, and very clean. When I purchased the MT07, I had been at 2 dealers and the trade price was pants. I fully understand they need to make a profit. So think a dealer offer you £7.5k, that be my guess. Keep and enjoy for next summer Willie, it’s gorgeous 😊
Willy do you split your own wood it's great i tend to do it and give a karate whoooooo as i do it had a head come off an axe once that was horrible just here in garage put tire on busted hand love it but its better than paying a dealer around here 😂🎉🎉🎉 idk they do need support so i send the triumph there. Hope you're well. Got to get myself a bear and sell the triumph after six lovely years idk either way you're damned you know I'd keep it.
Happy Christmas Willie, hope you and yours have a good one. Being a fair weather rider myself, at my age, I've put the Eliminator to bed till the spring when i hope to get some miles on it and have some fun.
Hello from Canada! I bought my 900rs Yellowball edition in August and it is perfection! It absolutely is my dream bike. I would never sell because there is nothing out there I want more. The most surprising thing about the bike is the attention it gets. There is not a day that I’m riding where I do not get thumbs up from motorists or someone approaching me to admire it. Everyone thinks it’s a custom cafe racer. I never expected all the attention.
Thanks for the comment buddy... I TOTALLY agree with you! There isn't a bike out there that I'd rather have and I too am shocked by the attention the bike gets! In fact I had 2 people on the same day admiring the bike thinking it was a real classic from back in the 70s!! Ride safe 🇨🇦
I purchased the SE model yellow ball. Added all the extras heated grips, rad grill cover, mapping by Ivan and Kawasaki white lettering. The bike is perfect for me and will never be sold. EVER!
Yep you have the perfect bike Dale! 👍😃 Can I ask how much the Ivan remap cost you? And do you mean the lettering on the tank? I thought mine was already white.. I need to go and check!
Hey mate. Hope everything is ok ? As a bloke, I thought I'd never say I miss a bit of regular Willie 😁😆😅🤣😂. Take care buddy and if we don't touch base beforehand, have a fantastic xmas and a wonderful new year. Ride safe.
Hi Willie, I’m sorry, I wasn’t really concentrating on what you were saying here, but I got something about selling the Z900. So, I would like to offer you £8,000 to take it off your massive hands. I’ll bet you’re tempted eh? LOL! Best wishes, LongJon.
Bike values are poor and I dont see any improvement anytime soon for several reasons. It`s all about the market and disposable incomes. You get what you can , grin and bear it, it`s called life.

Will's mate: you WILL sell it, it's only a question of time, lol. Out of curiosity, I looked at prices here (US). In the past, when the exchange rate was better, it was common to see the US price in $ equivalent to UK Sterling. I expected the 9,000 pound value to be $9000. Well, no more! The purchase price, for both countries is pretty much the same, now. Not having the disposable income that you enjoy (I think you're dealing in some shady goods!) I will stick with my beloved RE 350 REborn. Of course I can always swap you!
