Don't you just hate it when you go out for an hour and find out you've been reported missing for 5 days?

I had two bikes for years, a crf250 and a triumph thunderbird later replaced by a Harley M8 fatbob. Never been happier than going down to just the crf. The second bike was always a garage queen as the crf is just more fun to ride as over 40k miles on the clock confirm. No feelings of guilt about not riding a second bike, no depreciating asset in the garage and no insurance/tax to pay.

Good choice, We want to see Willie's Wheelies. Keep both chalk and cheese rides , perfectamundo. Always enjoy your quickie posts. As for the body in the field. Most of that TV series The Detectorist was filmed in the area My two black bar end mirrors royal enfield embossed are now in the spares bin so if you know someone or youself who wants them ,Ping me Fit straight on to the Classic 350 reborn or just need the M6 holes drilling to M8, then will fit the 500. There's nothing wrong with owning two bikes. You can always SORN one if needs be. I own three. A Classic 500, a Himalayan 411 and an Interceptor 650 and that's me done! I wont be selling any of them. My favourite is the 500 though. Irreplaceable. A work of art to ride and to look at 🙂

I would have bought the Z900 if I'd been 20 years younger but with my level of fitness these days the Eliminator SE 500 was better for my old bones. You really can't beat a Kawasaki, or Honda, when it comes to build quality and fantastic engines. Japanese bikes, you can't beat em.

In an hour or so I should know what's going on with the t100 I believe there are three positions with its pump off, idle, and acceleration. Thought maybe cause its getting old its dash was having a ghost in the machine moment. Beware of that guy with the shovel.😂

That's exactly the same way I feel about my Bonneville T120, I'm lucky having 3 bikes in the garage with the classic 350 and the R1250 RT but it does mean they each get ridden less. (More so now that I've retired and no longer commute daily) But I do find that when it's time for Beatrix Da Bonnie to get off rolled the ramp and onto the road I think why do I not ride her more! 😂😂😂

Meant to comment on your last upload. We get lots of amateur metal detectorists around here (Lincolnshire) and when the farmers plough and set the fields up for the next season they get permission to walk fields looking for finds churned up by the plough. Probably what that guy was upto.

My next visit over your way might be postponed for a while, Faye will be flying to old blighty this Thursday to visit her daughter in London. It looks like cancer may have given her a visit, therefore plans might change. Anywho mate I am still watching your every move, & loving everything you do. I loved my classic 500. I get similar enjoyment from my Harley.

The bike not being used should be on a smart battery charger and if you are not using for 3 months plus add fuel stabiliser.

Garage Queen or not: if ownership makes you smile, what does it matter? Is why people spend good money on art.

Hi Willie - It’s Big Rodders in Ireland. I was out on Monkey today after her 3 month winter rest when she ran out of insurance miles. With a fresh MOT, new rear tyre and insurance miles hiked up from 6 to 8000 miles this year I’m set for some memorable journeys this summer around Donegal. Like Teddy it’s a world beater and working the engine efficiently to achieve a 50mph cruising speed gives me more contentment than hammering a hyper galactic sports bike. I still live in hope that you’ll be in touch with me.

You did that 100 miles on a gallon and a dribble.

It's a hard one, Willie (Fnar)! I've just arranged to px my Trident 660 for an RE Interceptor. The Triumph is at its best on fast runs on motorways and A roads, while most riding at slower speeds doesn't hit the spot for me. So I'm halving the power and hopefully doubling the enjoyment!
