    I just love how your parents cook really healthy food too. It's amazing. I have problems with being consistent in my diet because the rest of my family doesn't eat or cook healthy foods. And my brothers are always bothered by me when I'm buying and storing my own food in the fridge.

      Just a suggestion, maybe you can consider offering to cook for the family. If a meal is too much, a dish here and there and when it's yummy, no one will complain too! If not yummy for them, then you can still have it for yourself and the next days :) Maybe? :p

    Tip: try freezing your banana and then blend in your smoothies, makes it sweeter, creamier and more refreshing, almost like ice cream!

      a little bit of xanthan gum makes it super thick (like ice cream), and it gives it more volume, this recipe I got from Greg Doucette fills like half the blender and only comes in at like 350 calories

    after doing so many of your workouts for weeks now, when you said "if you guys are ready" I panicked feeling like it was time to get to work.

      uwu我有一个猫 it’s been months now. i just do her high intensity work outs to burn more calories paired with a cleaner diet and i dropped 30 lbs in like 2 months. i did about 30 mins of exercise and 10-15 of yoga daily. her vids just consists of exercises you do 45 secs on 15 off and you just go through the sets. hope that helps.

    honestly, i’m 5’0 and 115 lbs and it sounds like i’m just complaining, but sometimes i feel so insecure about the way i look because as a super short person 10 lbs can really change how i look. But emi’s workout routines and her food vlogs have inspired me to start living a more healthy lifestyle :))))) so thanks for everything emi.

      How has it been going? I have the same physique as you and I'm so frustrated with my body. Ideally our weight should be like around 45-46~ but we're here at 115lbs. Everything adds onto my thigh and I'm so frustrated!! I'm starting to change my diet and eat more healthy, less carbs and drink more water.

      @@blueraineee Omg sameee. Only I am 111 lbs right now, but not much difference. Most of my fat is placed on my inner and outer thigh and I am so insecure about it. Overall I am not fat and I should think more positive, just want to get rid of that jiggly thing aha. I have always thought that calories are everything, but I've now realized calories aren't weighed the same. Healthy is the only way to go with balance. Although it scares me to stop counting calories, what if I eat too much and gain weight? It's so frustrating. I wish I could eat so carefree like all these TH-camrs

      i just want some kimbap Definitely try and look for the healthy and positive side. As someone who is 5’7 and has weighed 140 and 195, your body holds weight differently then someone taller or shorter, so please look for your healthy side and if this helps you (it helped me) don’t think oh if I loose this weight I’ll look better just think if I gain this muscle I’ll feel stronger.

      @Claire Yes! Im exactly the same as you! I've been working out for a few days and I also don't see results yet. But I do think it's because of the food. I've read that if you want to lose weight, the most important part is the diet. You can still eat your usual food and exercise, but you will get results much slower. I'm trying to substitute sweets for fruit because all I eat is chocolate. Good luck to you too and I hope our thighs won't be full with cellulite soon! :D

      @Claire first thing you don't want to do is overdo your cardio. chronic cardio sessions can cause you to have a lot of cravings, specially sugar ones, so if you tend to listen to those cravings, that can explain why you are not seeing results. don't overdo your workout and try to be inconsistent with them, that's way more effective than draining yourself every day. it's not sustainable and it's not healthy for your mental health, specially. and always remember that 80% of your results come from your diet, so try to be balanced but you DON'T have to deprive yourself from eating what you like. you're still beautiful and deserve to give yourself that appreciation and love you deserve, focus on feeling good instead of wanting to "look good". even though you look good always

    Love these food recipe/idea videos, especially since it’s in a more Asian (or Cantonese food) setting. Cause a lot of health/fitness youtubers tend to give western food recipes and may not be ideal as the ingredients may be expensive or unavailable here. Keep up the great job!!

      @@zahraambriss7863 Well I was almost 60 kg about a year ago and was really uncomfortable with my body and often got bullied at school for it, and I knew next to nothing about fitness and nutrition ( I ate really unhealthy), but I wanted to change and had no idea how. Then I found Emi and I followed and took inspiration from what she was eating and started doing her workouts on the weekdays ( since I wanted to rest and have fun on the weekends), and had cheat days on the weekends too since she said in her videos it was okay to, and now I’m actually 35 kg (dw it’s healthy for my height or at least the doctor said) and much more healthy and happy thanks to her! ( sorry for the long and late reply btw)

    Really love this video as its hard to find Asian home cooked meals that we can reference and relate too! It's not some crazy extreme diet and I love it that you still allow yourself meat buns, ramen etc when you're out

    this video was really helpful please do more of such videos >< and i love how your family really looks at the nutrition value of each item like the bean pasta than normal high carb pastas (my family wouldn’t even like the substitution)

    Thank you Emi for making and sharing this video of your daily meals. Your diet is well balanced and has a lot of variety. Foremost, it is very sustainable. 80% diet and 20% workout, what you eat is the result of your body composition.You are a great model of healthy lifestyle. Most fitness models don't share much of what they eat and only want to sell their workouts, but we all know that healthy diet is crucial to reach your goals.     Ahhh I finally understand why i'm not as skinny even with daily work out: first meals and dinners? cheese, paté, bread, pastry? what about the goûté as well? And last but not least, where is the WINE? As a French person I am genetically not able to do that

    Everything you eat looks so good, I just never manage to think of anything when I'm trying to make healthy meals! I love that you often have several different protein sources in a meal in the evening, and I really need to try making wraps and stuff like this.

    Eating clean & healthy is the best diet. I had been starved my self before, doing extreme IF and OMAD lol yeah my weight lose a lot but after that I gain more than I lose. After that, I'm learning from you that we shouldn't lose too much weight in a such a short time. It's better to lose a little weight but consistently, as long your body doesn't face rebound weight gain phase. Currently lose 14kg within 2 years (yeah most people find it slow), aiming for 6kg loss to achieve my weight goal, which is below 60kg next year. 😁

    Hello Emi! I am a beginner, and I have a question. Can you eat dinner, and then when your finished, exercise? Or are you supposed to wait an hour before trying to exercise?

      I was 14 when I became obsessed with my weight too but now that I'm 18 I can tell u life is much more enjoyable when you do not stress about it. Just eat healthy and workout and your body will settle at a healthy weight pls stay healthy ❤😊

    Our family travels alot so we have to get fast food, I try to avoid it but
    when I'm hungry its hard not to eat it. Any tips on what to do? Does anyone know any
    foods that can be brought in the car without having to heat it up that is healthy? Tysm.

      Hi Catty ! I understand, you can make your own granola to bring on trips or little packets of Hummus or guacamole with some crackers or pretzels. If you get the right container you can store some chicken in with some fresh veggies. (Not steamed or it will get mushy)
      A big thing that helps me is making your own granola or bars to bring on trips and they can be super duper easy to make !
      I make my granola with Chia seeds, oats, dry fruits, chopped up nuts and being a container of yogurt with me :)
      Chickens good because it's not so bad to bring as long as you have the right container for it. Or making power pancakes or power muffins and bringing those with you.
      That's what has helped me because my family is like that too haha.

    Hi Emi! I'm really curious as to what your approximate caloric intake is. I know you don't count, but do you know around how many calories you eat in the day? Similarly, are there any videos that state what a normal workout routine is for you? I imagine a lot of the videos and routines you post for us are probably more simple versions of ones you do normally to maintain. I recall seeing a video of you going to a fitness center for lunch and doing some weighted HIIT and it sparked my curiosity.
    You're the first channel and social media presence I go to for fitness motivation. :) Thank you for all of your hard work! I normally never post comments on YT but I genuinely enjoy your videos and you seem like such a genuine person. All the love to you and your family!

    I really like how you are eating realistically Emi. Realistic, sustainable yet yummy & healthy. I am not fat (46-47kg) but trying to loose my belly fat but am struggling to eat healthy (like real healthy) as I love food too much 🤪🤣 any tips to refuse temptations of all those unhealthy food?

    It's so true about alcohol and snacking. The worse for a healthy lean body! To keep you away from cravings the best is to eat at mral times less carbs and more fat from seeds, nuts, avocado, coconut and olive oil. Apparently eating fat and veggies keeps you full longer and don't get you fat if you eat a low carb diet
