@@bigfudge2031theoretically, there could be a timer for when walls and things become destructible. if they didn't become destructible until 30 seconds into a round/after a point has been capped (destructible objects on 2nd and 3rd point on payload and hybrid maps don't become destructible until the attacking team has capped 1st and 2nd point respectively), they could be used more strategically because by 30sec in, team fights have started so people are less likely - at least in most ranks - to go around and destroy them it would definitely take some fine tuning to make it work, but I still think it's an interesting idea. maybe this could be saved for a new, specific type of map where the destructible objects would be a bigger strategic component instead of being a part of every map and mode. regardless, I think it's a cool idea to think about and imagine
I think that would be so cool but not every character should be able to just destroy a wall. That way it balances out just shooting a wall like we shoot railings. So maybe only certain ults and abilities can destroy a whole wall not just normal gunfire. Like a Rein charge would be an epic scene breaking through a wall but a Soilder shooting a wall with a gun wouldn't just destroy an entire wall of a building. Or at minimum that no one's primary damage fire destroys walls.

As a Rein main, I will wait until last second to flash shield in front of a dva bomb so that it doesn't break before bomb goes of (especially against a Bastion who could melt it)...the real issue is that he moves to the right to block nothing. Also...Mercy could have ducked into cover she just decided to re-peek for some reason 😂

He should know everyone behind him would default to the left towards the gas station and mega, just stand in the middle with shield as wide as possible" - yet he kept moving to the left and even rotated so his shield angle got further minimized, essentially ending up not covering any area that people behind him would ever be in. It's not about whether or not he has perfect overview of those behind him. It's about him simply not doing what is logical - because he isn't even thinking about them. He's thinking isolated and not really grasping the bigger picture at any point, only focusing on what is strictly visible and then having a blind eye to everything else.

I gotta be honest, this Reinhard pisses me off. Like legitimately, I'm pissed off. Even though I know logically they're playing their best, but all things considered it looks like they're intentionally griefing the entire time. They don't commit to any actions, they keep moving back and forth, they don't care for their allies, and they don't even pose an active frontline threat either. They're in a constant state of being aggressively passive, you know, like a big dog barking at you behind a fence right until the fence is removed and then it walks away, when you close the fence again it runs back and starts barking again.. That is this Rein. Also add +50% on your sensitivity my dude, rotate your crosshair at the pace of an average size cargo ship maneuvering in a dock. Rein doesn't require much aim, but man, a tiny bit of athleticism would go a long way
Unironically ive been finding having a Lifeweaver stood somewhere in cover behin me has beeen great when im on Rein, life pull really helps that lack of mobility when escaping near death situations, and having sheild helps mitigate his relatively low healing ability, plus with coordination failed/high risk pins are far less dangerous again due to life grip.
@@tickledeggz If you ever get to play with a support duo, ask for a Lucio, you'll be surprised how amazing it is to have an actual good Rush comp pair. If you also get to have an Ana/Moira with that and a Mei/Sym you are almost unstoppable up to Plat if you know how to do callouts and when to use speed boost to go out, not only in.
@@tickledeggz having a Lifeweaver is also a perfect way to never learn from your mistakes. You living or dying doesn't make a difference if you ultimately lose the fight regardless. The Lifeweaver isn't saving your life, he's just slightly prolonging the loss, but you will still lose
@satamiko in lower ranks though lucio is allot less useful because people don't tend to utilise the speedboost as effective nor does the team usually push far enough with the rein. From my personal experience you will need to shotcall as rein in those instances and be very clear as when your team(mates) need to push or fall back and what positions they need to take. I usually call out what rotation we are going to do and where we fall back to. I call out the targets they need to shoot at to force positions and or elims. In that instance it works really well. However when your teammates refuse to listen to those callouts and you are playing against a comp with high mobility or shield pressure it can be very hard. You can lose teammates very fast because they are not on the same page. To shotcall effectively in those ranks you need a way better understanding of both the map and the winconditions on both sides compared to the average player in these ranks. Having not played in months my mechanics and gamesence where absolute terrible and i dropped from diamond 3 to around plat 3 (combination of lack of play and also about 5 games of people deranking, i mean legit 1.7k dmg in 10 min push games or people jumping off the map. However after getting a bit more in the game my mechanics are still kinda meh, but I win games with absolute ease if people listen to callouts in these ranks and don't feed their brains out. Even getting your team to reset back in correct positions can be a real challenge sometimes. For example Nepal village people refuse to stand on highgrounds after you win a fight and they just wait around the point untill the enemy team gets there from main or highground. They don't try to take highground advantage and wall someone off from healing etc.

I get at least 2 new people a day to play with and seed out the old ones if anything in the friends. It is something you have to do. But in lower ranks, in all honestly, you win 3/4 games if you end up using callouts and what I have learned that works better, even in higher ranks, is to say "they are feeding" instead of "they are one" and "help your teammate" instead screaming the name of a person they are shooting at to concentrate fire. People don't want to hear what you are doing, they want to hear how bad of the moves enemies are making and that you care and want to help them, meaning they are doing something right and have support from you. They start trusting you and end up helping you and listening to you. Magic of psychology. Just make sure to speak calm and understanding.

Sleep dart and Discord are the best tools supports have against Bastion. He's also an easy target for a Zen volley, so there ARE better choices than Kiriko/Mercy against a Bastion specifically.

Granted not always applicable but generally either of the options work pretty good..at least at my rank which I'm silver 2
Ana (sleep and anti), Bap (immortality and high mobility and dps), Zen (discord). Mercy is only good if you have a good dps to counter Bastion and Lucio is only good against Bastion if your team is playing inside of each other.

Yesterday I played into a tank that instantly switched from Orissa to Rein after the first fight encountering enemy team Bastion & Pharah as dps and stayed with Rein the whole game.
I can't feel bad for Reins complaining about Bastions. Oh no, you get countered by a specific hero pick! I'm a ball main when I tank, ball is directly countered by abilities from like half the damn hero roster lol.
So the issue isn't the Rein pick, it's that they are just ass with Rein. Does this guy know that the enemy team has more than DVa? Also, the Bastion was useless. I don't see how they were ever a concern.
Emongg ty so much for that nugget of advice about just diving the backline. I kept getting frustrated that it wasn't working because my team would get rolled while I try to kill the supports.
You can play rein into bastion but the process is very different. You cant go aggro till turret form has been used. You have to go from Chad to Ched just to survive, the moment the turret form has been used you can then go aggro on the bastion and emote on his body while spamming 'Come Here' to exert your rein chadness once again.
Everyone has their wall that they eventually hit. I don't talk down to my 70 year old uncle because he still clicks most of his abilities in world of warcraft. I work around the fact that he spent most of his life without videogames and he has a limit due to that factor on top of his age. Just because some people can improve, doesn't mean everyone can and there are hard caps for many, many people outside of a few outliers that can consistently push to the top of multiple games in their prime. But again, age and experience all factor into that along with the drive to improve. Not everyone loads up a game to be the best there ever was, sometimes it's as simple as you have some free time and just want to play a game and have fun. While improving might be fun for the vast majority, there are those that couldn't care any less about getting better, only that they enjoyed the time they spend on a recreational hobby.

Some people domnt measure success by being good at vieo games (no flames to anyonewho does) , this personmight very well have a busy schedule an only get to play a couple of hours a night plus in low ranks you can pretty muchn o whatever you want most of the time, and a is often metioned on channels such as this, you ont often get punished for mistakes. So its actually very difficult to learn what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong, because quite often the wrong play works out fine, and attemoting to make plays that are theorectically correct wont ecause your team eithher isnt communicating or cant recognise whhat you are trying tk acheive a support it properly. tl;dr cut people some slack, learning the game isnt easy in low ranked lobbies

Yes, most Reinhardts love to W, but doesn't mean they have no clue what a team is after, okay, 40 h. That's about 2 years of learning, let's say. As a support main, this is my nightmare tank to play with. 0 team fighting, 0 protection to his supports, 0 situational awareness, 0 impulse control, and 0 ability management. I never switch rein when they go bastion. Im only Diamond, but its easy to play around bastion tbh. Things like Mei can be more annoying as you don’t have as much control.
I like going DVA against bastions cus you can DM their minigun and then jump on their giant hitbox with your minirockets and autocanon close up. Free kills really.
I feel like the only time rein should like without a doubt swap off when against a bastion is when it's a rein mirror and your dps refuses to play bastion to mirror their bastion
Nah that's not the worst. You can still bait out the turret form from bastion, hide from it, and then get aggressive afterwards. If they have Bastion AND Orisa that's way worse because when it's time to get aggressive, Orisa won't let you play. And if you want an even worse nightmare for Reinhardt, add a Zenyatta to the mix and discord the Rein.

Why do people say mercy does low healing I can genji dash through someone with 1 hp turn around and they are full cause a mercy flew over after I pressed dash and before I hit and heals dude to full before a split second is up mercy does not do low healing
55 healing per second isn't particularly high. it's not low necessarily but it's lower than a shot from Ana, one from Bap, LW can do more, etc. the strength of Mercy's healing is its consistency (can't miss once beam is on, no need to reload, etc). but 55 hps isn't crazy high.

Sleep dart and Discord are the best tools supports have against Bastion. He's also an easy target for a Zen volley, so there ARE better choices than Kiriko/Mercy against a Bastion specifically.
@@FirebyrdXXas a lucio main I usually do pretty well against bastion unless they're excellent at tracking...alternatively speed boosting rein so he can close the distance for a charge works pretty good too. Granted not always applicable but generally either of the options work pretty good..at least at my rank which I'm silver 2

Mercy is only good if you have a good dps to counter Bastion and Lucio is only good against Bastion if your team is playing inside of each other.

Yesterday I played into a tank that instantly switched from Orissa to Rein after the first fight encountering enemy team Bastion & Pharah as dps and stayed with Rein the whole game.

You can play rein into bastion but the process is very different. You cant go aggro till turret form has been used. You have to go from Chad to Ched just to survive, the moment the turret form has been used you can then go aggro on the bastion and emote on his body while spamming 'Come Here' to exert your rein chadness once again.
I understand nobody is perfect and i dont wanna be judgemental. But how after 7 years of playing a game do you not improve.
Everyone has their wall that they eventually hit. I don't talk down to my 70 year old uncle because he still clicks most of his abilities in world of warcraft. I work around the fact that he spent most of his life without videogames and he has a limit due to that factor on top of his age.
Just because some people can improve, doesn't mean everyone can and there are hard caps for many, many people outside of a few outliers that can consistently push to the top of multiple games in their prime. But again, age and experience all factor into that along with the drive to improve. Not everyone loads up a game to be the best there ever was, sometimes it's as simple as you have some free time and just want to play a game and have fun. While improving might be fun for the vast majority, there are those that couldn't care any less about getting better, only that they enjoyed the time they spend on a recreational hobby.

He is always off on his own trying to make solo plays and leaving his team out to dry or forcing the supports to sacrifice themselves to keep him alive. Thats a pretty basic thing to learn after 7 years.
Some people domnt measure success by being good at vieo games (no flames to anyonewho does) , this personmight very well have a busy schedule an only get to play a couple of hours a night plus in low ranks you can pretty muchn o whatever you want most of the time, and a is often metioned on channels such as this, you ont often get punished for mistakes. So its actually very difficult to learn what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong, because quite often the wrong play works out fine, and attemoting to make plays that are theorectically correct wont ecause your team eithher isnt communicating or cant recognise whhat you are trying tk acheive a support it properly. tl;dr cut people some slack, learning the game isnt easy in low ranked lobbies
@@tickledeggz it is, in fact, quite easy to learn, even 1 h per week, for 7 years it's a massive amount. Especially if they mostly play one character, Reinhardt, which is arguably one of the easier ones to learn. Yes, most Reinhardts love to W, but doesn't mean they have no clue what a team is after, okay, 40 h. That's about 2 years of learning, let's say. At this point this person just plain on refuses to learn the game. You can't tell me you don't see them literally do the same mistakes over and over, hoping one time it'll work at some point. It is the definition of insanity. Even a baby should learn after seeing a Bastion "oh, I go in each time he has turret form and die, it's an ouch, it hurts every time, maybe I should either wait untill he doesn't have turret or use walls as cover"... But no, we keep seeing them as an Orisa proceed to gold and stand infront of a Bastion, watch their health go down NEXT TO A WALL and die-...
I also want to add just because you do something for a long time it doesn't mean you'll just get better.. like take art for example, you can draw for 5 years but still see no improvement because you're not putting in the work needed to improve your skills - sometimes time shows improvement but 99% of the time you need to put in effort and thought into trying to improve in a certain thing ( ofc drawing and playing videogames aren't really the same but I just used it as a example because I'm most experienced with that )

As a support main, this is my nightmare tank to play with. 0 team fighting, 0 protection to his supports, 0 situational awareness, 0 impulse control, and 0 ability management. He needs to put in as much effort to be a tank as he did with that winded cringy summary in the beginning.

I never switch rein when they go bastion. Im only Diamond, but its easy to play around bastion tbh. Things like Mei can be more annoying as you don’t have as much control.

Nah that's not the worst. You can still bait out the turret form from bastion, hide from it, and then get aggressive afterwards.
If they have Bastion AND Orisa that's way worse because when it's time to get aggressive, Orisa won't let you play.
And if you want an even worse nightmare for Reinhardt, add a Zenyatta to the mix and discord the Rein.

meh, its fine. At low levels comps don't mean crap. Supports that pump out healing is 10x more important than what characters they are playing.
in Bronze, the Mercy and Lucio players heal bot anyway because they don't understand the actual point of the heroes.
People want to play heroes that can pump numbers because sleep darts, saves, cleanses etc dont shhow on the scoreboard and no one wats to be the Ana with 100% dart accuracy on good targets that gets flamed for not having a big enough number ithe Heal collumn (at least that how i feel sometimes, and i think its why you often see the moira switch mid round 2 bronze games)
@@tickledeggz I main Lucio and Mercy in high diamond and the amount of times I have been flamed for having "bad healing stats" is unreal, when you should have relatively low healing numbers when you play those characters properly.

Why do people say mercy does low healing I can genji dash through someone with 1 hp turn around and they are full cause a mercy flew over after I pressed dash and before I hit and heals dude to full before a split second is up mercy does not do low healing
55 healing per second isn't particularly high. it's not low necessarily but it's lower than a shot from Ana, one from Bap, LW can do more, etc. the strength of Mercy's healing is its consistency (can't miss once beam is on, no need to reload, etc). but 55 hps isn't crazy high.

I think it seems like more healing than it is because it's consistent, but I can assure you, as a Mercy player, her healing isn't super high or fast, even when I hold down the button really hard as though that will make it heal faster lol

They picked that comment up from the “my dad can beat up your dad” mentality all over TikTok as a flex, NOBODY who has played the game that amount of time just stands dead 100% still in front of a bastion turret for several seconds. No strafe, no attempt to get behind cover, not even being aggro and trying to kill him. Just standing perfectly, 100% still like a rock 10 feet in front of him. This is a newer player.
