  • In addition to writing journal articles, many science professionals are expected to present their research orally-at conferences, workshops, and seminars. If you have never given a formal presentation to a live audience, you may be uncertain about how to prepare and deliver a scientific talk. Some videos in this series offer tips for giving better talks and others deal with myths about speaking to an audience. In this video, I talk about nervous gestures and what to do with your hands while giving a talk.
