      OP was one of NINE counselors (5:00) looking after 50 kids . Surely OP could have and did trust the other 8 to deal with the kids while he survived an attack of an angry and insane Qaren ?????
      I am also old. 70, male. Please read the story once again.
      Also please note that CC could have quit and found another job. He had not on the date of the story We have all been "attacked" by kids who were excited and misbehaved a bit with adults because of that. Please excuse the kids getting excited seeing "Chuck E Cheese" in person.

    • @hrobinson9701
      @hrobinson9701 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +15

      @@seraglioborneo2803 "kids who were excited and misbehaved a bit"?? Maybe you need to read the story again. "The poor soul assigned to dance around in the Chuckie suit comes out from behind the stage and begins dancing. He's instantly swarmed by our entire summer camp. Kids are crawling on him, pulling on his shirt, some little a-hole is trying to get above him on the stage so he can pull his head off". That's not misbehaving "a bit", that's straight up a-hole behavior from every kid involved. And Karen was going after the mouse, not OP. So maybe he should have done his job, waded into the fray with the other 8 counselors to get the kids under control instead of sitting back and taking in the show that Karen was putting on. But then he wouldn't have a story to tell on reddit.

    • @vanillablossom
      @vanillablossom 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      @@seraglioborneo2803 not only was OP one of nine counselors, but also very young, they said they were 17 yo with poor social skills back then, so I'd give them more leeway comparing to the other staff members, OP still needed to learn. Unless all the other staff was also very young, without any seasoned, experienced person to help them out, be a role model etc. But if the entire camp staff was as young and inexperienced, then I'd blame whomever organised the camp in the first place. Either way, I wouldn't put whole responsibility for the camp on the green 17 yo kid.

      This one is almost as bad as one I heard about OP was at Chuck E Cheese for their younger siblings bday party and this Karen comes in and keeps sending her kid over to the party to eat and do all the party activities despite the numerous times they kept taking him back to her. Until one time they couldn't find her bc she decided to leave for a little while thinking they would take care of her son. Then at the very end I guess they bring out one of those air tubes that someone goes in and tries to catch as many bills as they can, only I think it was tickets not cash and this woman ended up I think pushing the bday kid out of the way so he soon could go in it instead. That's not entitlement that's just a flat out vile human being and a parent not wanting to discipline or even deal with their own kids. If that's the kind of parent someone is going to be then they should do everyone else a favor just forget about having kids instead of assuming others even total strangers would watch them

    Story 3: It's likely that didn't even mention to the manager that the whole thing happened at another location, because in her mind if that detail didn't matter to her, then it must not matter period. There is absolutely no reason OP's manager should have jumped through hoops like that to settle everything, because unless OP commits some kind of crime what happens on his own time outside the store is none of their business. As someone who works retail, OP handled that well. But I already have a plan for if I'm ever harassed in another store like that. I would definitely get that store's management to help me out, but also ask if they could get in contact and possibly send camera footage to my store, just incase the offender decides to come where I work while I'm there. There is no way any employee should have to serve anyone who's done THAT to them.

Thus, when OP tries to say it happened somewhere else, the manager has to verify that it DID happen somewhere else. So called the other manager.

When it’s time for them to go to daycare, they’re all excited and they run right into the car and sit down nicely and everything they get to the doggy daycare and are very nice and polite, but really want to get inside, and then the best part is picking them up. They drag themselves out into the car fall dead asleep by the time they get home, she has to wake them to get them out of the car. They barely eat falling asleep, exhausted in the living room. They only move a little when somebody says good night, I always love that story. My niece would tell me about her dogs.

      @@teslagod7221 OP did not commit a crime here. You don't consider the case here. I'm talking about ignoring the Karen. And yes: as long as OP would not have been convicted by a judge the company should not have the right to fire them. Because: innocent until proven guilty! Like, whats with all the poor people that were accused of sth, then fired before the case was cleared and afterwards it turned out this person was innocent!
      To be clear: as long as someone does LEGAL things in their off time and anyone complains about this to their chefs they should NOT have ANY right to fire them! This goes for stuff like LARP, bdsm, furry stuff. All that stuff! As long as it's legal an off the clock it's NONE of the employers business!
      And as soon as it's NOT legal, well.. Like I said: this depends on the allegations and if the employee was found guilty! As long as the employee is NOT found guilty and/or there are NO investigations the employer should not be allowed to just fire them!
      We all know what a false "they touched me without my consent" allegation can do to a person. As long as it's not PROVEN they keep their job! Because they are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty.
      Just my opinion

He is 30, but is autistic and non-verbal and tends to physically resemble his dad, more than me. This way, I have his state ID card on me, where the home address on it matches mine and I can prove he's my son. With OP's son being so little, she won't have any ID with her. That scenario is also why I make sure to NOT wear a red shirt if I go to Target. A man just walked up to me and said "eh excuse me, can you..." then he said "oh wait you don't work here, sorry" lol it obviously wasn't a Karen situation but it got me hysterical laughing with him. I was wearing a navy hoodie so maybe that's what made him think I was a member of staff. Was probably when he saw I had a Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) t-shirt on me that he realised he embarrassed himself. Lol we all make mistakes, although to be fair I make sure when I need help I make sure they have the shops logo on them. Lol well apart from when I can't find a member of staff and just say sorry but could you help me? They know at the worst they’ll get a slap on the wrist and a strongly worded “Don’t do it again,” even if it’s the 128,512th time they’ve done it, while the man will suffer for it forever if she is believed
