It doesn't need to be a webcam to shoot a TH-cam video. Just shoot the video and edit it as desired. Using it as a webcam would be adding an extra step.

@@ErickWright I was interested in using Nvidia broadcast's eye contact feature. So having it connected as a webcam was easier
