  • The Genesis GV70 loses no points in the style category. It's quite posh inside as well. We were however skeptical of the 3.5T engine choice presented here in this video. While the 2.5T is still a better choice overall, this V6 car still managed to beat EPA.

    If you honestly think this is the real world driving habits of a GV70 owner…you are sadly mistaken. For all you Momma’s boys who like driving Miss Daisy, yes you can achieve these numbers. However, if you’re driving this vehicle in sport and sport plus, you will get anywhere from 14-18 mpg in the real world. (Not too bad) Happy driving 😉

    Thanks for the video. I've been waiting for this one. Just got the exact same car last week and averaging 23 to 25 mpg on the highway on eco mode as well. Will be going on a 500 mile trip in 2 months. Much appreciated. Subscribed.

    I've had my GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige for 7 months, love the vehicle (Uyuni white over red/charcoal). You can match EPA mileage if you stay in comfort mode (or eco) and intentionally drive to get maximum mileage. If you got the V6 that's not your intention to start with, you want to have fun here and there. A major reason I got the Genesis is the HUGE difference between comfort mode and sport/sport+, and the mileage drops accordingly. Genesis makes the Germans (which I've owned in the past, and Jaguar) overpriced, I would buy it again in a heartbeat.....

    Any chance for an MDX Type-S Advance sound system review? Probably hard to get one

      We’ve been asking Acura, but they’ve yet to bring one into our area. We’ll keep at it!

    Do you know by chance if you can manually turn off the lane change assist? This car has really peaked my interest and was wondering

    What is Premium 87 or 93? Where is the manual for the car?

    I think that in these MPG tests you should say what type of tires the car has (summer/all season/winter) and the dimensions of the wheels. Because bigger and wider tires will also affect fuel economy. And also it would be nice to know the total mileage because it isn't the same to test a car with only 2500mi and another with 7000mi.

    i never, ever understand reviewers who complain about...checks notes....CHANGING A LANE!....because my god, of all the things to complain about, it's...still checking notes....CHANGING A LANE ON A ROAD....so, please stop complaining about that when you admittedly aren't sure if you're "doing it right". ok? it's so dumb.

      Not trying to be rude but we live in a world where people will find something to complain and also it might not be about using a system correctly but could be the way it works. So that won't change

    • @DailyMotor
      @DailyMotor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It’s the fact that changing a lane should be a simple task, and some new cars make it more difficult. We get paid to comment and make complaints. Do you?
