THE INTERVIEW AND THE PRE COURSE TASK | Everything you need to know before THE CELTA.

I’ve been talking about the CELTA course for a while now, but what I haven’t told you and what many people don’t say is that BEFORE the CELTA Course, you have to perform a 50-question task. So today, I am going to talk about the Interview and the CELTA Pre Course Task.

When teachers look for courses to improve their teaching skills and abilities, they usually come across the CELTA Course, which stands for Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults or Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

The CELTA course is indeed a great course; however, there are some people who are still questioning themselves about taking it or not. It is understandable that teachers doubt going through the CELTA because it is a very demanding course. Both the part-time and the full-time courses expect candidates to take long hours of their day/week/semester to work on their assignments and lessons. Not everybody is actually ready or willing to spend so much time and attention on this course. Therefore there are a few needed steps prior to entering the CELTA. So, in this video, I’m going to explain these steps. I am going to talk about the interview, the pre-course task, and how to organize yourself.

I took my CELTA in 2015 in an English school in Brazil called Seven Idiomas. I took the intensive, which was in January only. The whole month for that.
The same year I took it, the school that I had been working on finally recognized me as an important teacher.
Moreover, some schools look for teachers with certification.

I'm glad you liked it.
I don't exactly remember what they asked me, but they wanted to test my English, I guess.
They explained how the course would work and they asked me what I was looking for in life as an English teacher and the reasons for taking the course.
Also, how I got to know the CELTA ...

I don't think you really need to show reference, but you can use it if you want to.
