    I was looking for relatively recent types of feedback on this course because I'd really like to become an English teacher both for adults and children. I am 28 and about to graduate with a bachelor in early childhood education in Italy after having worked as a nanny and English tutor full time : after being quite confused for sometime and still working but part time as a tutor, I have enough money to invest in this course ... I am quite nervous since I am not exactly fresh out of highschool, but your video really gave me the boost I needed to confirm my decision!! Thank you so much for all the details! I am a native speaker and would really like to formalize my English!

    Thank you Paulina that's informative! I'm Halim from Singapore, I'm starting my CELTA course on 1st July after my teaching grammar & pronunciation course on 1st May. Only fully online course is available here. My CELTA course is 3 times a week for 7 weeks, 9am to 5pm.

    Are we required to prove the C1 certification? thank you 😊

    • @lemonizi
      @lemonizi  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Usually at least a C1 level is preferred. I know some begin their journey with a B2, but I always recommend striving for more - it can give a broader vision and also more awareness of the language itself 💓

    Thank you for this video, you gave a lot of information! It has given me a lot to think about. I have been wanting to take the CELTA course but I always think I can’t do it. Even though I do classes, I’m nervous of public speaking.
    I’m wondering, how long are the classes you have to do. You explained in the video you have to do 6 hours of practice, is it 1 hour each class (in your practice)?
    Again, thank you so much for this info, very helpful.

    Hello, how are you ?
    I wanna ask onething more that I'm a teacher of Arabic language in Saudi Arabia, but now I want to switch my teaching from Arabic to English and want to do CELTA, so how much I need to improve my English?
    I actually know about teaching techniques and methodology as I've learnt the book ' Look Inside by Jim Scrivener and A-Z ELT by Scott Thornbury.
    And in Grammar " Essential Grammar In Use by Raymond Murphy.
    But I'm not very good in Speaking and Listening English. So which level of English is required to achieve for doing and passing in CELTA?

    • @lemonizi
      @lemonizi  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! knowing the methods and techniques behind teaching definitely help - for the level, I believe that a C1 would be a good goal, below that it can be quite challenging 😬 thanks for your feedback and good luck with your career change 💞
