Hi Jake! Sometimes I think that I confuse AF with staring which is a no-no for improving my vision. I've noticed that in order to clear the blur I sometimes start to blink too much and stare at the object as if commanding it to become clear. What's the difference between AF and staring?
The difference is that you do not need to stare. Once you cleared up the blur, you can look on other things, but better at the same distance, because if you look at other distances the eye will change the focus on the next blink and if it is too far away or too near it wont work with clearing the blur. I use active focus on 3 meters with my TV and printed textsize Arial 105 and glasses 1.25 lower than 20/20 vision. It works very good.
@@spirittouchrecords2785 I've noticed that each time I blink I lose the clarity, e.g. once I have a clear flash as soon as I blink it's gone. And how do you clear it up if not staring? You focus on the same object, blink and wait for it to become clear, like that?
@@mysli_vsluh Of course you add some blur by blinking, that is the eye fluid. You look at text and keep normal blinking. Every blink will make the eye to re-focus and the text will become more clear. This can take some minutes, depends on your ciliary muscle relaxation. If you get a pretty clear text you should stop frequent blinking and hold that clear vision for a little while. That way the stimulation will make more effect and you get rid of the ciliary muscle-strain and the focal plane-blur, which means your eyeball was stimulated a little bit shorter. If you hold that clear vision for longer time and blink less frequent, only when needed, then even if you blink, you will see that the fluid-blur is only a little bit and you can have the same clear vision even with blinking, the most blur in the beginning is because of the focal plane-blur, which you clear up with active focus and that is the blur, positive stimulation is about. I blink while reading textes on my TV, the eyes can move. You don't wait for a clear-up, it happens right after blinking. The more you blink, the better the eyes can focus and clear up the blur. The ultimate clear up works with "giving a yawn" when you are tired, your ciliary muscle is relaxed at most, then you will have like the strongest clear flashes possible.
@@mysli_vsluh You need to help your brain to recreate the 3-D enviroment on your mind by using your tactil impressions, vision works better wlth touch sense. William Bates used to recommend Montesori Method to increase brain activities, more inputs. Another hint is learn more about Angular Acceleration, that triggers semicircular movement on inner ear, it provokes our perception of motion. Learning about how we use our joints and body to create constant motion. We cannot think only about eyes to make vision better, we have an entire organism, an eco-system.
Even with Lazer correction the eye will still grow to match the stimulus, so yes it should still work ( I haven't improved my vision with this method yet though so don't take my word for it)

Hey Jake, greetings. I have -2.5 in both eyes. I am 15 and I go to high school. So what I want to ask to you is, since I sit at the back, I can't see the what the teacher writes on the board clearly ( I can make sense of some words but can't for some which are far away from me). So I use active focus to clear my vision and that REALLY works. I can see clearly for 10-60 second depending on how well I executed the active focus. So the active focus which I do to clear the blur help in making my eye get good? Or I have to do active focus at home only with some words in my front? Can I do active focus while watching TV, I watch English shows so I use subtitles ( I live in a different country that's why). So can I use subtitles as a way toa active focus? Please answer my questions, it will be a great help sir. Thanks for your time. If any viewer is reading my comment, they can share thier experiences or answer my questions, it would be really great help. Thanks.
@@toastmastertwo9289 Ok so what I do is put my specs on because it's not upto the power which my eye needs because you need some less dioptre for your eye to adapt. Okay, put on specs and blink 3-5 times while looking at the board really quickly ( you won't look like a doofus trust me, I do it everyday) If you can see clearly then remember to NOT BLINK your eyes, keep them open as long as you can, after some time you can close your eyes and do it again. If it doesn't work the first time, I suggest you try to practice this technique at home. Take a printed paper which has some words written on it in good font, keep it in front of you and move away from the paper bit by bit until you notice a slight blur. Now when you notice that blur, stop right there and try to do the same active focus techniques. You will get it eventually.

Why is it that my eye prescription gets worse over time? For example, lets say I am at -1.25 and then next year it's actually -1.75. I don't change my eye glasses and continue wearing the -1.25. what will happen then? Will i go back to -1.25 over time? If so - why did the change happen in the first place. Also are there habitually changes you introduce into your life when reducing the prescription?
So should i keep my glasses aside?or wear them only when needed
Can people with astigmatism engage active focus?

What do I do if I only have Myopia in one eye please? My other eye excellent.
Every blink will make the eye to re-focus
and the text will become more clear. This can take some minutes, depends on
your ciliary muscle relaxation. If you get a pretty clear text you should stop
frequent blinking and hold that clear vision for a little while. That way the
stimulation will make more effect and you get rid of the ciliary muscle-strain
and the focal plane-blur, which means your eyeball was stimulated a little bit shorter. If you hold that clear vision for longer time and blink less frequent, only when needed, then even if you blink, you will see that the fluid-blur is only a little bit and you can
have the same clear vision even with blinking, the most blur in the beginning is because of the focal plane-blur, which you clear up with active focus and that is the blur,
positive stimulation is about.

@@toastmastertwo9289 Ok so what I do is put my specs on because it's not upto the power which my eye needs because you need some less dioptre for your eye to adapt.
Okay, put on specs and blink 3-5 times while looking at the board really quickly ( you won't look like a doofus trust me, I do it everyday)
If you can see clearly then remember to NOT BLINK your eyes, keep them open as long as you can, after some time you can close your eyes and do it again.
