my father in law decided to get my wife a new car for her birthday, he was going to pay cash in full, $20k and they kept coming back with $599 added on for paint protection. he said no, i don't want that, the dealer said well you have to have that, my father in law told him to go back and get him the price without the paint protection. guy comes back with a price $200 less, still including the paint protection, my father in law says again, he doesnt want it and wont pay for it, then dealer says again he has to have it, they wont sell the car without it. so, they didn't sell the car at all, my father in law walked out and went to another dealership that day and paid $20k cash for a different car. a $599 ripoff cost them a $20,000 sale.

How to spot a dealership scam: The salesman tells you that you're behind on your taxes and a warrant for your arrest is pending unless you go to Walmart and buy an ITunes gift card.
I worked as a detailer in a dealership for a while. The worst thing I would have to do would be the paint protection and the fabric protection. The stuff was useful, especially the fabric protection, but cost less than a dollar per car to apply. I was paid like 5 bucks to put it on and the dealership would charge about $500 for both
I was going to say dealerships are going to hate you for making this video....then you said it yourself at the end lol. Thank you for doing this. I'm in the market for a new truck and this helps immensely.
Imagine walking into a car dealership and saying to the sales manager & to the finance manager “I have no knowledge about the car buying process. Please help me with the correct path and everything that’s right.”
This makes absolute sense. Great video. In my dealership, we dont charge interest. I offer BHPH, dont run a credit check, and mostly everyone qualifies. The only thing I need is a down payment which is about 1/3 of the price of the vehicle Example: If the price is $3000, the down payment is $1000 then the amount to finance in $2000. I then divide $2000/12 and the answer is the amount the customer finances. No penalty if a customer decides to pay it off earlier. Zero Interest. MOST importantly, the prices on my vehicles is ALWAYS $500 less than KBB value. My strategy helps my customer with bad credit, help customers pay off their vehicle faster, and give customers an opportunity to sell their vehicles and make extra profit. Thanks for the vdeo
Having been in the biz and the same attitude as yourself (I quit when they told me to push a 2wd as a 4wd to an unsuspecting customer), thanks for the public service announcement to those who don't know. Not all dealers are scam artists, not all salesmen are scammers. But 98% of them are. Keep putting the education out there!
Dude, I ran across you a year ago when I was shopping for a new truck. Great content, great delivery, but one question ... how do you keep your job? You're telling the consumer how the industry notoriously rip people off and scam them and the dealership continues to allow you to breathe? Thanks, I hope you can keep it up!
#1 rip off is trade in #2 ripoff is electronic rust protection. Its literally a blinking light. I was trained to sell lots of rip off snake oil at Meguire Nissan here in NY. Awful company. Screwed a widow lady who was a single mother. Gave her a grand for a 6 year old Suzuki with low miles. The way they got away with it is tricking her into a 5 year loan when she thought it was 3 years. Was supposed to be 3k trade in (still low) but gave her 1k and put her through a prefered lender. Got her paying 2 years longer to keep payment where it should have been had they paid her the full trade in.... took advantage of a grieving widow, single mother of a toddler. I wouldn't work for those crooks if they were the only job in the county. Awful company. I always wanted to sell cars but I have to sleep at night.
Another site said to have the dealership give you a check for the amount of your trade, this will tell you if they are lying about what they will pay you for your trade!
Honesty and transparency goes a long way with me. I will gladly spend more money at businesses that I trust and feel confident in their services. Keep up the good work.
I sold a fully loaded arcadia right tf off the tile one time made like $900. They arent exactly flying off the lot i was there for two weeks before i could make that happen. Is that a scam?
Matt Morris supply and demand as well as the decreased value of the dollar are what ends up determining what a dealer can get out of a vehicle. My last new truck ('13 1/2 ton silverado crew, 5.3, 6 spd, 3.42's lt2) I drive off the lot after my trade in (10 silverado crew lt) for just under $20k. My payments were roughly $300/mo. To replace that truck today, I'd be looking at roughly $36-38,000 out of pocket and payments would be anywhere from $550 mo to $585/mo...and that's getting about the same on my trade as the last trade in.
I was trying to make a deal with this dealer online and we came to a deal. Went to the dealer only to be told that the car had already been sold and was offered another one that was verbatim from the “sold” one but for $2k more. Luckily I had written down the VIN number for the one we were dealing with online and had a buddy emailed inquiring about it after I left and was told it’s in stock and wanted to know when he would like to come look at it. Needless to say the manager came up with some stupid excuses after I caught them lying.
Danny Luong when I was looking for my new truck in 2015, you would not believe the bs stories I got from salesmen when I arranged to see the exact unit I wanted to buy. Three times I made appointments to go see the truck I wanted and some were 45 minutes away. I would get there and somehow the one I was promised somehow was magically sold and gone, but they had other trucks that I just had to imagine the way I wanted it and they could get one sent over, or I could buy a truck I didn’t want right away. The last time I made an appointment I asked the sales guy if he minded me recording him promising what I wanted was there and if it wasn’t when I got there we would go speak to the person in charge at the dealership to see why the truck disappeared, and what items I would get for free since they misled. The guy called me back in five minutes telling me the truck had to go to another dealership suddenly. I asked him which one and he hung up. I dislike and distrust car salesmen.
Josh Parks if I remember correctly, having videos past 10 minutes gives you more ads thus more ad revenue. I won't say this is why he spanned it out but the ad revenue is why you see a lot of videos just barely past 10 minutes.
It's not important whether or not your vids get views. They're not helpful to the consumer anyway - just one more dealer trick to try and get trusting consumers into the dealership and fuck them without kissing them!
Lol for 4k you could pretty much get any rim's on the market. Lol shit go to Facebook market place can find the 4k rims used with 3k miles for $300-400. No stock rim's are 4k... They think they get you when they say 1k credit for the stock ones there still making a good 1500 profit you cannot convince me those rim's are worth over 750-1kea
@@BillyMciver Chevy sells a forged wheel that costs over $800 per wheel. Forged wheels are a lot more expensive than a typical alloy wheel you would buy from most places.
Sold motorcycles and checked out this vid for similarities. He speaks truth revealing high profits for minimal value. I believe him when he says other dealers not happy.
Actually, the problem is that there are 'car salespeople' that cheat and those that don't. Shop around and find the ones that don't and stay with them.
You nailed it dude i was a ford/gm mechanic for 25 years and have worked for dealers that would try anything to make an extra buck. add on stickers selling floor mats which came in the trunk of the vehicle from the factory, false spray on protectants that were never applied, etched numbers on windows. you name it it happens. i worked for a high volume fleet truck ford dealer in georgia where we would get up to 15 truck loads of white and only white ford trucks in every week (and left there just as fast usually) which got sold only to fleets aka power utility companys, government, state all over the usa . you and i could not buy one there only companies etc. for thousands less of what a normal dealership would stick it to you for. the prices of ford gm and dodge pick-ups are out of sight all have a good to decent product bot 60 grand for a platinum f-150 or a high country chebby come on my first new ford f-150 i bought in 1985 was barely over 12 to 13 grand for a lariat loaded out in the day on the ford d plan. every year model the sticker prices increased so how much will a cheap plastic ford or gm truck cost in 20 more years and the prices of used trucks heck used my 2014 crew lariat with the miles mine has on it around 29,000 a dealer in b'ham alabama was asking 32,900 and i got mine new under d plan for 36,900 10,500 grand off of sticker and a dealer will lie and tell we don't have that much mark up in trucks BULL SHIT. it don't cost that much to build it. TA TA.
to be fair though if he were trying to scam us he wont be able to use any of the scams he put out in this video so i mean either way you look at it he is trying to scam you less or not at all...
This dude isn’t getting to the meat of the rip offs. It’s the finance manager. Also if he’s implying that his dealership isn’t ripping ppl off then the Chevy dude is a crook as well.
Always secure your own financing FIRST then you'll have something to compare it to. My father and I ran a small used car business for like two years - It amazed me how many grown adults had no idea that they could go to their own bank, get a loan and bring me the check. I had to explain this to them and actually deter people from using the used car financing services.
I'm gonna go ahead and spill the beans about the rip-off that no dealership wants exposed. It's the Fleshlight Muffler Insert with the Auto Queef function. You're welcome.
That only works if you have the "chrome" muffler bearings. If you have the standard muffler bearings that come from the factory, the inserts won't fit. You can get around this by adding a thermal coupler to the left system analytics pneumatic rheostat switch. But it has to be done on an even Tuesday on an odd month during a full moon as the eagle flies east and sh!ts while looking at its shadow.
@@im1who84u And remember, that's a PNEUMATIC rheostat switch, so you want to make sure you're installing the porcelain one, not the brass one. Made that mistake myself!
I love how 90% of comments are people bitching. "You talk too much" what the hell else is he supposed to do, stand there? Also, it is not mandatory to watch this video. People are so angry. Thanks for the tips and I live close to Louisville so I need to stop in sometime and look at the new cars.
IKR?!! Exactly! was he suppose to use que cards for the adhd?! I'll tell ya you're damned if you do or damned if you don't. With that being said, just do what you do and phuck the rest!
Its insanely hard to buy a vehicle from a dealer and get them to be somewhat honest with you. I looked for 6 months before I finally bought my Chevy Silverado from a small family owned dealer that was honest for a good buy. They're out there you just have to jump through hoops to find them.
At 1:40 you clearly state that you were "waiting for a vehicle to come in with this feature installed"..... Aren't YOU the one that put that "feature" on there?! Lol Then at 2:15 YOU state "the quickest way to find out if you're going to get ripped off at a dealership, is to look at their new car inventory and see if they have something like this applied". Then without skipping a beat.. you show your dealership addendum sticker! LMAO If you don't see the scam in this video... PLEASE come see me for your next car! HAHAHAHAHA
He also had to stop the video and restart explaining the addendum sticker around 2:33 and was talking real slow truing to explain himself. He explains that car dealers have high profit low cost items on their addendum sticker, but when he shows his $56,500 truck his says his addendum sticker has low profit high cost items. I smell a rat.
Yeah, dude; You did contradict yourself there on the "rip-off sticker." Your dealership is ripping people off on the $4,000 wheels and tires and then giving them a mere $1,000 for their factory ones, which you will sell to another customer for well above what they cost...
It is how the Addendum stickers are used that is the difference. Dealer A uses them to stuff the car with Corinthian leather snake oil protectant and Dealer B uses them to show dealer fitted accessories (Usually OEM). The piece of paper is not inherently evil, it is when they attempt to charge for crap. I have a local dealer hear that does it and it drives me nuts. They inflate the vehicle price buy $1 to $1.5 K so the under educated buyers then feel they are getting a deal by paying just over MSRP...
I never fall for scams like this. I always tell the finance manager up front I want the car and absolutely nothing else. If they force anything on me I just get up and walk.
The Car Crazy Guy On my 2013 Silverado right after my basic warranty was out. The power steering reservoir leaked. Since I was out of warranty I did the repair myself. I accidently got oil on the serpentine belt doing it. The belt started making a squeaking sound every time I would start the truck.
I had another different issue also with my Silverado but it got covered under warranty. I forgot what it was. Since it was a while back & I got rid of that truck. I remember going to the service department .
The things you mentioned are just a few reasons why I got outta the car busniess after 15 years as a detailer. My hat is off to you chevydude well done
My tires say, 45 psi cold. Paid 1100 for artic cold air from Greenland. Tires are still inflated and running great. Best investment I've made. I'd recommend.
If you had a high performance mud grip you wanted to run 15 PSI of nitrogen each for a total of 60 sure. But what are you gonna do when you roll over some glass buddy and need to go to the local gas station and put 50 cents in the air machine. I hope for your sake you are joking. Imported Dubai air, bah.
I love how the aftermarket stickers are for cheap stuff that's overpriced but when he shows the same thing on their Silverado it's "high quality low markup items" and they sell you the $4000 rims for $3000... Are they American Force polished 26's or something?? Oh they're black 22's so they're ACTUALLY $1500 wheels. All you guys are scam artists
Yes Chevy Dude, it's not your dealership that's the ripoff, it's an industry wide ripoff to buy the wheel package. Far better to buy the wheels aftermarket. Wait until the first set of tires are worn out, then put winter tires on those rims, and buy upgraded wheels with new summer tires already mounted and balanced on them.
+Superdutychase He said this: "Those wheels cost $4000 dollars, we only charge $3000 for them." Then he will charge you $1100 for the floor mats. Ha Ha Ha Ha!
After watching several of these videos, I've came to realize he is actually trying to genuinely help.people. I've left comments before that were less than stellar on posts in the past, but everything he is saying in this video is accurate as far as I can tell. I heard the local sheriff's department can do the etching on the glass for you, but havent researched it so not sure that's accurate. Prolly cost the same as the dealer. Overall I have learned some things I didnt know before watching his videos. So thumbs up for making this video in the first place.
Indian Warrior Finish this sentence: "A pickpicket tells us which pocket to keep our wallet in so they know where to look. A car salesman shows us dealer scams so _________." The two are not equivalent.
MGJackson68 A car salesman shows us dealer scams so they know how to makes us feel as if we are well informed, appeal to our emotions, fears, concerns, confirmation of what they assume we already know, gain our thrust in the process by the subtle differentiation of themselves from others, therefore making us more willing to shell whatever is enough to pay for whatever "beneficial suggestions" they have. The pickpocket analogy is more direct and "hands-on" while the car salesman's tactic is somewhat if not purely psychological in nature. They both employ some form of misdirection, If you go along with it, They will know they have enough of your trust, and guard down to get ambushed down the road. "To know where to look" for a pickpocket is no different for a car salesman probing to find out or get a better understanding where you stand financially, how much you know about what you're walking into etc. Only difference is one of these occupations is legally frowned upon.
I once spent two hours at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run stuck in traffic behind PT Cruiser with one of those flashing brake light mods. By the time I finally got away from the thing I was cackling like the Joker and had been driven nearly to suicide by the damned flashing light. Screw those things.
He gives good advice. I've learned a lot from Chevy Dude. One thing I know he'll never talk about is how to negotiate down the MSRP price, service contract price, extended warranty price and where to find what the state of Kentucky allows on Dealer Processing Fees and how to negotiate those too.
Dealers not only make profit on selling factory vehicles, they make additional profit from selling parts and labor on the new cars they sell. Just buy the factory car and don't pay for add ons.
This guys been called out on 99% of these comments, and the best he can come up with is "How so". Like he's offended , or something. Pathetic, even for a car salesman.
All dealerships are similar in there process. All brands. I prefer only GM or Ford vehicles ...thus I find an "honest & reputable" dealer of my preferred brand.
Ok...3 minutes into the video, and all Ive seen is subscribe pitches, promises of what he's gonna tell me, here in a minute, and then a commercial. I think this is a scam!
And then he finishes if off with the HUGE TRICK that 100% OF ALL DEALERS USE that you CANNOT RESEARCH... in another video. You can’t make this shit up. What a toolbag this guy is.
I realize this will be a stupid sounding comment, and I live in the south so I know what you are dealing with, but for ANY salesperson who wears sunglasses.....I won't believe hardly anything you say.
Nothing wrong with wearing sunglasses. I wear them all the time, always have either my Ex Glasses or Maui's on my face . Helps my vision especially whilst speaking with ppl in an environment reflecting a lot of light, as I don't fancy appearing like a squinting Jackarse speaking with Constituents.
Same scam that has been going on for decades. Add a lot of low cost high priced add ons and make a big deal when they knock a couple thousand off the price. Extended warranties are another rip off. I am sure you play some kind of game too. Dealers have thousands of ways to rip someone off. If you get a good deal on the front end the finance guy will rip you off.
Watch out for email deals too. I drove my friend to a dealership, so he could use the promotion they emailed him. First they told him he had the numbers wrong, then he pulled out a printed copy. The salesman asked if he could bring it to the manager. He came back without it, and then engaged him in conversation, trying to get him to forget the numbers. When he brought up the numbers, they were wrong, and my friend corrected him. He tried to deny the correction, so my friend pulled another copy of the promotion. My friend continued with the sale, but made them use a different salesman. That douche lost his commission (I hope).

I feel like I've just been ripped off by watching Biff the car salesman beg for likes for 13 minutes. I even fell for it by writing a comment. It's more enjoyable watching you bully Micheal J. Fox.
Every dealer in my area has those little add on stickers, and I immediately tell them I don't acknowledge anything on there and will not be paying for any of that crap!
I NEVER walk into a dealership to buy a car. I pick out what I want, take a test drive if necessary then go on the internet. I finalize the deal over the phone, they send me a contact, I give them a credit card deposit and have a cashiers check waiting for them when they DELIVER the car to me. Bought my last 5 this way and it’s great!
I agree, but I think it's not their method that's the focus. I'd bet it's that they're terrified of negotiating with car sales staff so they developed this idiotic way of dropping 40k.
I've noticed newly built dealerships require you to park in a Dedicated Parking Space and in order to even access the lot (New & Used) you MUST enter the building and endure the gauntlet! No more parking and meandering around without an annoying sales rep hovering around like an AH-64 Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter! Great info, thanks! Liked and Subbed.

I wished you lived in my town... In a few months my wife and I are going to be looking at getting a Chevy Equinox. I like how you're truthful about things about how some dealerships charge more than they should.
Mike, I love how you put everything out in the open, and are honest with the public.. You're awesome!! And i'm betting the trade in "scam" you're referring to, has something to do with mixing negotiations. Most car shoppers are fixated on the amount they can spend each month for a car, and salespeople know this. and the dealership hopes buyers will say what their affordable monthly payment will be. Most of the time the salesperson asks you what payment you want to stay at. and then the salesperson will use that number to pad in as much profit as he/she can for themselves. They will start with the monthly payment because it allows them to combine the trade-in value of your vehicle, the price of the new car, and financing terms to fit that figure. In other words, they’ll get you to that monthly payment, but they’ll do whatever they can to hide how they got you there. mixing the negotiations allows them to show the buyer one favorable figure, like the new-car price, while obscuring a less favorable figure on the trade in price or financing terms. they will end up getting to your monthly payment when the dealership plays with the term of the loan. So if they give you a bad deal on your trade in, they’ll just extend the term by 12 months, and like magic, Wallah!! they will be at your target payment.. lol..
But what if they dont touch the length of the term or apr and your monthly stays the same or is less.... I don't possibly see how this is a bad thing. Both parties clearly got what they wanted. They've either inflated the price of your trade if you had one, demand a larger down payment or gave you a good deal on the vehicle. I say this because I was asked by my dealership if I wanted to trade in my 16 SS and I've been entertaining the idea of jumping into a ZL1. So I figure I'll be paying more but if they can come to a reasonable price without touching the length of the loan, I walk out happy.
Well, If you walk out with exactly what you want, and your happy, then i don't see a problem.. A lot of people just allows the dealerships to rip them off, because they don't know any better, and some just won't speak up for themselves because they really want the new car/truck.. Either way, it isn't right that some will twist things to make you think you're getting a good deal, or to make you think you're getting the only deal they can give you, while they know they are ripping you off on your trade, finance charges, or other things.. Thing is, they should just be honest about the cost of the new car, what your trade is worth, and finance charges.. But most are not, they will twist numbers, the length of the loan, or the finance rate so they can get more money out of you.. And sometimes it's ripping you off for thousands of dollars.. If you want to know if a dealer is trying to rip you off, go in and pick out the vehicle you want, and tell them you're not trading anything in, and see what deal they give you, and then after they give you the price and payment, then tell them you want to trade something in.. And you will see that they will offer you basically nothing for your trade, or the price of the new car or financing charges will change.. I'v seen dealerships even say, if you now want to trade that in, you will lose the factory rebates.. And truth is, they just rework the numbers, which will take the rebates from you, and give them to the dealership.. In other words, they will make you think you lost those rebates, when you really didn't, they just wanted them to cover what they gave you for your trade in..
Tires manufactured after 1998 have sealer on the inside surface that makes Nitrogen a worthless product anyway. There is no benefit to putting pure Nitrogen in a tire, and Nitrogen, like you said... is freaking FREE.
I used to work at Frontier Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-FIAT here in Lubbock, Texas & we put these on cars or some cars. When a shipment of cars came in a select few cars would be driven to a tint dealer & then a new car customer gets stuck paying for tinted windows. Yes I agree this is a rip off or scam.
Hey mike, I was at a Jeep dealership looking at Wranglers.. saw one of those addendum stickers that was ONLY listing “Market Price Adjustment” for $2,500. Literally the dealership was adding a lot of money to the already $49K price tag to the Jeep.
This guy could hlpe save you money on your next purchase of a vehicle and your bitching about clicking a button. First off if you took the time to complain about liking and subscribing you could have already done both of those and been on with your day in less amount of time.
I'm pretty sure you mean they use "auction" prices for your trade in I've had them try the bullshit on me....the problem is they had the almost same car on the lot used with way more miles then my car and I saw the price of it....so I called him out on it....next thing I know, I had the manager, owner, and the sales man pleading with me not to leave and post it on social media...I left as they followed me out and I did post it on social media....
When I worked at Toyota as a detailer, the cars came from the factory with pinstripes already on. The pinstripes we're a $500 option, so every time a customer denied that option we had to spend about 15-20 minutes removing the pinstripe and the adhesive.

Easy day, easy bucks i guess
This makes absolute sense. Great video. In my dealership, we dont charge interest. I offer BHPH, dont run a credit check, and mostly everyone qualifies. The only thing I need is a down payment which is about 1/3 of the price of the vehicle
Example: If the price is $3000, the down payment is $1000 then the amount to finance in $2000.
Helps if you own the dealership.
#1 rip off is trade in
#2 ripoff is electronic rust protection.
Damn. That's worse than some of the shite we do whilst working the Political Campaign Season. Sucks though, I know that sick feeling.
Another site said to have the dealership give you a check for the amount of your trade, this will tell you if they are lying about what they will pay you for your trade!

I’ll tell what’s a rip-off $50,000 for a regular crew cab 1500 4x4.
Remember when I could drive one off the lot, even with the rip off sticker for $31k
Matt Morris I got a new 6.2 Silverado z71 Ltz for 49 and didn’t get ripped off using true car and by being pre approved for financing through usaa
John McCain maybe a regular cab short box ltz with 308's in it...
Don't get the higher end package and it'll be alot less.

This dude isn’t getting to the meat of the rip offs. It’s the finance manager. Also if he’s implying that his dealership isn’t ripping ppl off then the Chevy dude is a crook as well.
ya it's a smoke screen to distract attention from the main crook the finance manager

HAHAHAHAHA

Sounds kinda like someone we all know... hmmmmmm... I think he's a pretty honest guy too! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So funny. This guy has enough gullible viewers (including this one) who don't stop to ask, Wait, why does he have those examples in his dealership?
It is how the Addendum stickers are used that is the difference. Dealer A uses them to stuff the car with Corinthian leather snake oil protectant and Dealer B uses them to show dealer fitted accessories (Usually OEM). The piece of paper is not inherently evil, it is when they attempt to charge for crap. I have a local dealer hear that does it and it drives me nuts. They inflate the vehicle price buy $1 to $1.5 K so the under educated buyers then feel they are getting a deal by paying just over MSRP...
Lmao just thought I'd point out the rim's he is claiming that's worth 1k EACH! Can have much better ones put on for under half that! :D
How to avoid dealership scams
Step 1: walk away from dealership
Step 2: success

For that price it better be painted
Ducktape pinstripes.... that’ll be 750$

If you had a high performance mud grip you wanted to run 15 PSI of nitrogen each for a total of 60 sure.

Overall I have learned some things I didnt know before watching his videos. So thumbs up for making this video in the first place.
How to know if you're getting ripped off at a dealership? You're AT a dealership.
How to know if your getting scammed it has a bowtie on the front
AKA: A stealership.
Car salesman telling us about dealership scams is like a pickpocket telling us what pocket we should keep our wallets in.
Kurt H Your analogy makes no sense whatsoever
Next time I need to change pocket for my wallet before I go in.
Of course it does!
"Yeah all other car dealers are thiefs but im a saint!"
"That's how they get you but i don't have any tricks"
Indian Warrior Finish this sentence: "A pickpicket tells us which pocket to keep our wallet in so they know where to look. A car salesman shows us dealer scams so _________."
The two are not equivalent.

Kenshin Himura not everyone lives in a shit 3rd world country... sucks for you I guess... without police and justice the world would be a corrupt and unliveable place
dont be crying when some one is robbing you and the cops dont show up
As soon as TH-cam throws an ad in the middle of a video, my time viewing the video ends for me.....
We're Houseless Not Homeless it's ridiculous how many ads pop up in videos can't stand it and will not pay for TH-cam premium I do the same thing and turn away
when first ad disrupts an interesting video i click next and leave a comment on why it sucked. ads in beginning of video sure at the end ok not in the middle of a good bit.
ad block
The fuck???you complain about the ads yet refuse to pay the 10 bucks a month ...for the premium if you can't afford 10 dollars a month you shouldn't even be looking at this video ...cause you can't even afford it.
Get adblock
Thank goodness for you. All that we consumer's need to know. Thank you Chevy Dude.
the quickest way to know if you're gonna get ripped off by a dealer: walk into their showroom!!
My first clue would be the giant sign that said “Chevrolet” 😂😂😂
LMAO :)
Scotty's "favorite" junkyard.
I think you missed the scam where you give $1k credit on $4k wheels! WTH? That's a scam in itself.
I wished you lived in my town... In a few months my wife and I are going to be looking at getting a Chevy Equinox. I like how you're truthful about things about how some dealerships charge more than they should.
@@ChevyDude Nope in Illinois up near Chicago lol but I am watching a lot of your videos on do's and dont's
Thank you!
SouthernBeast 702 just so you're aware your 2016 SS is likely worth $35-40,000 retail so be careful what they offer in trade!
Thank you.
What would you consider reasonable for the trade in? Last time they gave me a few thousand over blue book value which was cool.
Biggest rip-off CA dealership have is nitrogen tires!! DON'T PAY FOR NITRO TIRES!!!
Especially when dealers just change out black valve caps to green caps without even changing out the air.
Yeah... i learned that lesson...
The air you breath in, no joke, is already about 77 to 79 percent nitrogen, seriusly.
Tires manufactured after 1998 have sealer on the inside surface that makes Nitrogen a worthless product anyway. There is no benefit to putting pure Nitrogen in a tire, and Nitrogen, like you said... is freaking FREE.
Yea it's all a big scam
They'll charge you a finder's fee even thought it was on the lot 🤣
Chevy Dude uh? That was a reference from Seinfeld so no need to worry 🤗
I have an 07 Chevy LTZ Vmax had it for a year with no problems ... So far so good.👌🏽
If dealerships hate you, I wonder if doctors do too🤔
First he said “if you see this sticker it’s a scam” then he says “if you see this sticker it’s not a scam you just have to read it“
I used to work at Frontier Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-FIAT here in Lubbock, Texas & we put these on cars or some cars. When a shipment of cars came in a select few cars would be driven to a tint dealer & then a new car customer gets stuck paying for tinted windows. Yes I agree this is a rip off or scam.
Man this dude can talk. No wonder he sells cars.
Chevy Dude not a criticism at all. You have a gift for gab. I have trouble talking to people so we are on opposite side of the coin.
Yes, absolutely! I'm deft.
Add in a “doc” fee, biggest ripoff for nothing!
Hate vidoes that babble on only to inflate video duration. Just get to the f'ing point.
Lol yeah and 1:17 don’t do that in your next video bud that just ruined it for me. Trying too hard
nicely stated
Egbert Garcia 😭😂😂😂I'm dead it's not eve that big of a deal but it pisses me off too
Yeah. This could have been a 5 min video with almost identical information.
Rebecca Bradley : Yes. He talks about not paying extra for things, but tries to make the video so long as possible to earn more...
Hey mike, I was at a Jeep dealership looking at Wranglers.. saw one of those addendum stickers that was ONLY listing “Market Price Adjustment” for $2,500. Literally the dealership was adding a lot of money to the already $49K price tag to the Jeep.
Pretty sure your barber ripped you off...
LOL 2 minutes in and still trying to get me to smash some button, I might have if you didn't spend the first two minutes telling me to.
anyone telling me to subscribe/like their videos i usually dont because how annoying that is haha
This guy could hlpe save you money on your next purchase of a vehicle and your bitching about clicking a button. First off if you took the time to complain about liking and subscribing you could have already done both of those and been on with your day in less amount of time.
@Ockie Ditchbank you know your not winning when you call people out for spelling errors lol
Ockie Ditchbank hahaha whatever you say guy
Ockie Ditchbank no reason to argue with you over the internet i pit my opinion in already.
I wanna see this post! Haha
When I worked at Toyota as a detailer, the cars came from the factory with pinstripes already on. The pinstripes we're a $500 option, so every time a customer denied that option we had to spend about 15-20 minutes removing the pinstripe and the adhesive.
