What's wrong with going to a car dealership and just wanting to look around? I can't ever seem to do that. As soon as I walk on the lot, the salepeople swarm me. How do you politely tell them to leave you alone and if you see something you like you will come find them? This doesn't waste the salesman's time and I don't feel pressured to make a decision.
#7 Shop around. Take a day or two and go to a few different places for quotes, then go back with those other quotes in hand and let them (the dealerships) compete for your business.
Shop around is for idiots who want a car but have no clue what kind of car... The other day I wanted a 2022 Honda Civic, so I went to a Honda dealer and bought one straight up... No shopping, no test driving, no looking, just went and got one
@@slavicvolk most of time the difference is price between dealerships is not worth the additional time it takes to scout everything out and communicating with each salesman. I can just work that extra time and be ahead on the finances.
I really don’t understand why it takes 4 hours to buy a car. Especially since every single time I’ve gone to a dealer, I have known exactly what I wanted. I knew exactly what my tray was worth. I knew exactly what my credit score was, and I almost always have my own financing in hand, but it still takes four hours because the dealers are using that time to wear you down to get you to buy ad on warrantees, add-on bits, all needless the extras. ( door handle cup protectors? , I’ll just trim my nails thank you ) Anything they can to squeeze as much money out of you and then, of course you know all these extras get rolled into your payment like that supposed to make it feel better.
Walk in pre approved from your bank or another bank. Don't pay fees and don't buy the extras. Ask him to beat you financing. If he does, ask to see the buy rate. He will probably get mad. If he won't show, walk. He'll stop you and give you the buy rate, usually at least a point below what he told you.
@@kennethsasser7844 the buy is the rate the dealer actually gets from the bank before they add their points. In short, yes, its the lowest for that particular bank at that moment. For example, the bank come back with 2.5 percent when the dealer runs it by the bank. The finance guy then comes to you and says I got 4.5 percent for you. The buy rate was 2.5, the dealer added points is 2 points. They will also tell the bank that you are offering 20% down, even of you are not. The bank will then give the dealer an even lower rate, the finance guy then comes back to you and says the bank is being tough but if you put 20 percent down they'll give you 5% ( in actuality the dealer got 1.9 from the bank as an example) they then try and force you to put money in to get a lower rate that they mark up even more and make even more. Finance guys are pure crooks, they lie like hell every time they open their mouths. Always ask the bu rate and to see it on paper. If they refuse, walk, they don't want to get caught screwing you.
Weird story: I once ended up buying a truck I didn't really want, and was regretful immediately afterwards because I didn't like the color of it. It turned out to be the best, most reliable vehicle I ever owned and I kept it for 16 years.
Hey Chevy, I recently bought a new car on Monday and I followed all your advice, from dealer rater to looking at kelly blue book and truecar. I had an amazing experience and just wanted to thank you for helping me to walk in confident and realistic. It helped me get the exact car I wanted with a great monthly payment including a great warranty with no additional money added onto my monthly. Thanks dude! Btw my old car was a 2010, 117k and a salvage title but carmax offered me 4k. I highly suggest to get your car appraised before so if the dealership offers a low price, you have a second option.
With Hondas you always get more for the trade in because they better hold their value compared to other brands. I had a 2009 Honda with 213,000 miles and I got...4,500.00. My car looked brands new inside and out because I always took very good care of it.
25k at a 3% rate for 60months with tax and licensing will land at damn near exactly 500$. If the car was 29k, and you got it for 25k, then it is a good deal. The payment is just a reflection of the amount financed.
In 2015 I bought a brand new 2015 Honda Civic for $248/mo for 60 months. It was $21,000 MSRP however i got it for $19,000 bc it was a leftover (they were trying to make space for the 2016s). I put $3,000 down and financed $16,000. I managed to get 2% interest rate bc of my credit making my payments $248/mo. I paid my car off in 3 years instead of 5 by paying more then my monthly payment so i didn’t have to pay the interest. It is possible to finance a car for $250/mo just gotta go to the right dealership, and buy a car that’s not overly priced and have a down payment. My sales guy was great!
Come in with financing but let the dealer try and beat it. The end price of the car they will allow can be tied to the financing. You cut that off and you leave that portion on the table. It all works together. I always have the preapproved financing from my credit union and legitimately hope they beat it. Its far easier to do it all in one place. Trading in a car is a personal thing. You WILL get more privately, but it takes time, can be a hassle, etc. How much is the delta worth. Additionally, at dealers that don't negotiate on sale price, often the negotiation happens with the trade in. BTDT.
My number one rule. NEVER tell the salesman what I do for a living. Just inform them that I have plenty of money to buy the car I want. If they ask twice. Repeat your answer twice.
A couple years later, but as a consultant in 2023 this is still dead on. Trust me, guys, we want the process to be quick and easy as much as you. We take up less of your time, make you happier, and we can see more customers. Win-win.
In the process of buying a new car (Chevy Trailblazer RS) I’ve been watching all ur vids. Wish you were here in NY, so you could be my car dealer. Thanks for all the video tips.
@@TheCoolDude1230 I had a horrible experience also. I went to a Toyota dealer in NJ and they were trying to push me into a lease when I told them 3 times I wanted to finance. They basically told me I wouldn’t be able to finance a new car anywhere for $250 a month so I left. I went to Honda and drove away that day in a brand new Honda Civic for $248/mo. Do you research and don’t settle for a bad deal or let the sales people push you into a deal you don’t want to make. Walk away and go someplace else. Best decision I made was leaving that Toyota dealership. I had a great experience at Honda.
I am a powersports salesmen. 100% honest and upfront on every interaction. Wish some of my customers where as honest as I am with them. LOVE sharing my passion for two wheels with my customers. Last job I will hopefully every have.
Tip #6 seems more for the sales guy. I like to look discuss and think about it. Then compare and think more. The sales guy would prefer me to only consider his time and block out half my day. As you said, this is a big purchase and may take weeks to make a good decision ....for the buyer.
Don't ever buy any dealer installed accessories -> they charge arm and the leg for these. Never buy any extra "protections"package-> interior protection, paint protection, tire/wheel/glass protection, etc--> it's all scam! When u go over the long dealer print out of the vehicle price/options price--> make sure u read all lines where u see charges, make sure you agreed to pay for these things(I got a car and got bunch of extra "charges" added to my cars price in the fine print on that sales contract)
I had a bad experience even with knowing the vehicle I wanted and pre-approved through my bank for it. I get there and the sales man told me they no longer had the vehicle. He completely gave me the run around. Even trying to get me to get a vehicle outside of my price range through a different finance company. Finally after EIGHT (8) HOURS, I was worn down and told him I’d just try again later. This man told m he wanted to look at one more vehicle. It was the SAME vehicle I went in and asked about that he told me had been sold!!!! Even after that, it took two weeks because I told my bank if they didn’t take all those fees off that I didn’t request, I didn’t want them to release the funds and I would park it back on their lot. I was so heartbroken after reflecting back on my experience but I really wanted that vehicle. The salesman didn’t have to do me like that. I still have the vehicle and I want a newer model, but I’m so afraid of going back to that dealership.
This is exactly what I did picked out a specific model, color ect called to verify availability set up appointment also had in mind realistic down payment, monthly payments…. Made the whole experience fantastic 🙌
First, I do like your channel l, but Some of these tips sound more in favor of the sales person rather than the customer. Not sure I agree with that. I grew up on car lots with my dad, who sold cars for almost 50 years, and was extremely successful! He always put the customer first. He would work around their schedule not the other way around. Including staying late to make a delivery on Saturdays. Customers aren’t there for you, you’re there for the customer.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm just so thankful to not make a purchase when you have huge distraction, hungry, not well informed. THANK YOU!!!
If I was buying a Chevy I would fly out to your dealership and buy a truck from you. Thank you for your honesty, it means everything today and goes a long way.
Watching from the Ft Wayne area! This is my first time buying a car on my own, and these videos are a huge help. Hoping I'll be able to take everything I've learned to the dealership whenever I go!
Thanks Mike, for this and your other videos. I just bought a new car yesterday and everything went very well because of the info I got from you videos.
You and I both know if someone does there homework it takes less time to purchase a vehicle. The Finance people can bog the whole thing down. When dealers wants to increase sales, they hire more salespeople, how about having more finance people to “check out” the customers quicker thus freeing that salesperson to do his job. Yes you and I can multitask to an extent.
Your voice almost sounds like a sports announcer. I can hear you being an announcer for baseball. Great videos and tips. I'm watching your videos before buying a new car.
Don't forget to ask for "incentives" and added discounts like college grad, military/veteran, etc... I got an extra $2k off a new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV because I asked for a veteran's discount! Salesman didn't think of it, glad I did :)
I followed all the tips. But then they showed me the car that I was planning on buying later and I ended up going for it. I am a sucker when it comes to this stuff...
Good video although my first rule is never buy New. Hertz is going to flood the market with newer used cars. They normally have to wait before they can sell them.
I just bought a c7 grand sport 3 weeks ago. Got exactly what I wanted (trade amount, financing terms, interest rate and vehicle price) and was only at the dealership for 73 minutes. 3-4 hours sounds excessive and I would not stay that long for a transaction that takes half of that.
Exactly the same for me when buying my Supra in May. Took around 70-80 minutes across two days (during my lunch break), and got what I wanted and expected.
My last two leases with BMW it took me less than two hours total. About 1 hr to make a deal and I came back later on in the day the first time for 45 min to pick it up. The second lease was 1 hr to make a deal and about 1 hr to pick it up the next day. I would walk out of the dealership if they told me 4 hrs
In Dec 69 and Jan 70, I started looking for a pickup. I walked in with a list of what I wanted and then we talk color. I wound up getting a C-10 that had been special-ordered the person didn't take that had almost everything I wanted for about $1750. It had 6.9 on the odometer. I sold it around 1990 with about 110K.

Pre-negotiate before you step foot at a dealer. Took less than an hour to sign pre-negotiated docs to buy my Bullitt. We came in at 10:20 in the morning and were out shortly after 11. We had plenty of time for early lunch.
I always bring my diabetic friend with me around lunch time and during the middle of negotiations when they reached their bottom dollar we tests his sugar says it’s extremely low. Even though it’s not I say we gotta get food I’m starving too of course they offer him a soda and a snack he says he can’t eat fast acting carbs we leave go eat they alway call and take another 1000$ off always always alway
Great advice and it’s true and some of the points you’ve made I’ve done the opposite BUT I’ve gotten my trucks at hood prices because they were low priced and even with that credit helps out in the long run for the good interest rate too
I appreciate all you do to try and keep car buying real. Problem is, everyone should exhaust the salesmen over the course of days. But who has the time?
As long as you owe less than its worth you have positive equity and can be used as a down payment. For example, i owe $8500 on my 2018. Its KBB is $19,500, if i traded it in, roughly, i already have a $10,000 down payment towards my next vehicle.
Not always. If you get a trade amount close to or more than the amount owed a trade in can often the a wise move. In most states the sales tax on the purchase of a new vehicle is reduced for the value of the trade. If the sales tax is 6 percent and the trade value is $10,000 the sales tax savings would be $600. Always the math.
@@peasantstimekeeper Not challenging you, trying to understand how using the $10,000 as a down payment for a different vehicle is a wiser financial decision than using $8500 of it to pay off the existing car loan, then the remaining $1500 as a down payment. Not paying off the balance of the existing loan means you are still wasting money unnecessarily paying interest on the original loan. Paying the loan off sooner means your overall cost of the original loan is less than if you continued paying on it, including the accruing interest, in turn actually spending money that could be used towards the next vehicle purchase, lowering that overall loan amount & final cost of your next purchase. What am I missing that makes what your describing a wiser financial decision?
My dad retired years ago from GM and he was manager of the dealer organization and he told me that when GM sends out those surveys for customers that have purchased a vehicle or had service done they want them to come back with the customer completely satisfied and happy and if they don’t they will take action I don’t know if things have changed over the years
I rated mine 1 star and they did nothing. I filed a complaint with the manufacturer's customer care line and all they said is "dealerships are independent and can make whatever rules they want." Since no one seemed to care I hired a lawyer and won 20k back for all the shady and unbelievable stuff they did to me. They initially tried to just give me a free car wash lol I can't believe they're still in business
'they want them to come back with the customer completely satisfied and happy and if they don’t they will take action' - actually no.....they don't care.

3 to 4 hours for a car deal?!?! That's crazy. I book my appointment and hour and a half apart. And, given they came on time, there is always enough time to close, have a smoke and be ready.
Actually, here in Amarillo banks ONLY use NADA, but I tell people check NADA rough trade. That is going to be the most accurate number to figure out what your car is worth.
Kbb instant cash is very realistic, but at least in my experience selling NADA ROUGH trade is a good ballpark for someone to get an idea without getting bombarded with calls like KBB instant cash offer will do
Your comment on Car Max giving you a good number on a trade in is right on. I went to them for a new (to me) Silverado and the offer was fair and generous. I will ice them again!! Thanks for the good advice!! JR PS ...and yes - four hours is a good estimate for the transaction!!
I made an appointment when the lease was up on my wife’s truck, we got there and the sales guy didn’t think it was important enough not to be with other customers at the time. No we did not do any further business with that dealership. (You can secure your own financing and have the bank handle a lease buyout 100% so you never have to even talk to the dealer. 99.5% of it can be done electronically and the last 2 signatures at the local notary)
Car Max sold my nephew a very nice Armada suv and 2 months later he saw that the title was for a salvage totaled vehicle they didn’t want to take the vehicle back, but they finally did when he told them he was going to report it to b.b.b.

Back in '97-2000 I was being asked to be a car salesman any time I went to look at a car or even when I went to one place to apply for the Porter position and the sales manager saw me handing in my application. He said, "you wanna sell cars?" Later years I decided to give it a try, and once they were explaining the 4 Square I knew why car sales had bad reputation and that I would Not be a car salesman on Principle.
After I test drive i tell them how much I will pay and what I want out of the deal out the door. They either take it or dont. Thats cash or finance its what I will pay. I dont have a problem leaving. There's always another car somewhere else.
Don't let a dealer have your car as a trade in, he'll steal it from you. And do not pay any "fees" when you buy a new car. The only thing that's legit is the delivery charge.
I was watching a podcast where this TH-camr was talking about how she bout a new Honda Civic for $12,000. What she said was she made them fight for her business. She went to one dealer and was like, "Well, this dealership is dropping his price by $1,000. What can you do?" And then went back to the original dealership and said the same thing. She did this until she got the price she wanted. Lol. Keep in mind, she was shopping for a car at the end of the year, so dealerships was trying to make space for new inventory.
IN regards to #6. If you can agree on a price and cut them a check to hold the sale for a few days until you have more time...... Im not sure you cant get something done in 60 minutes. (assuming you have come previously and test drove a few vehicles and went home to do math and research a reasonable offer. ) If you can come back- agree on a price and have them get the paperwork ready for a few days later.
Been binge watching these videos. I have to buy a truck and found a Silverado that's a 2009. About to head to the dealership. I feel confident about what to look for and what questions to ask.
One thing many forget is Auto Insurance Estimate. One time I went to buy a Evo X, had the money to make the payments, am at the dealer and the salesperson was the one who mentioned the insurance. *I have a perfect record and many yrs of ticket free driving* Insurance estimate turn out to be another car payment per month. It was not because of my driving, but because of the amount of accidents and thefts to that specific vehicle. As much as I lovrd the car, it was not a realistic and logical move... 😿😭
Pay 20% down and never finance for more then 48 months. And remember who in the dealership makes the most money. The finance dept. so don't pay for gap insurance, bullshit fees and extended warranties, paint protection or vin glass etching. All a giant waste of money. Oh one more thing, never pay more then $75 for doc fees!!!!
There is a benefit to trading in your car, at least where I am in CT, the trade in price comes off the sale price before taxes. There is also a higher tax rate in CT for cars over $50k, so the trade in is valued even higher. We’ve traded in our cars the last couple times we have bought cars. The first one I didn’t do enough to get value out of my trade in and that was my fault. This last time, I did my homework and made sure we got a good deal on both vehicles.
Great video! One more suggestion that goes along with 1 and 6, is be well rested before going. Unfortunately, I have first hand knowledge of this one... Also, I have never understood why someone would go and make the 2nd largest purchase (for most people) of their life, and not have a clue what it is going to be...
financing, cash is almost useless when purchasing anything that needs big credit. like cars, houses, and property. But always put money down to get better rates and to not be paying on interest
Comparing the CLOSING on a house to purchasing a car is apples to oranges. Don’t forget all that you go through on the way to your house closing. Just looking for your house can frazzle you and take days, weeks or even months. Then the real fun begins. Negotiations, financial work with a mortgage company, home inspections, insurance policies and more. The closing is just the candle on the birthday cake.
When an auto loan has a penalty for paying off early is this obvious or do they hide that info. I'm interested in paying cash for a car but I would finance to get a better price as long as I can pay off the loan in a few months without penalty.
If you look at the Auto Advocates web site on You Tube they mentioned that just recently. There is no penalty for paying an auto loan anywhere!. In fact Ray said he's suggested that a buyer could save $900 to 1000 by taking a loan and then paying it off weeks later if the dealer was trying to meet a quota for $$ from the Manufacturer!
I disagree with putting money down. He says the best deals are made with money down..... sure, best deals for him, he’s a dealer. I never put money down, even on a lease. They go to happy out with the down payment. They never tell the bank how much you put down. This especially helps them if your getting a bad deal because they can take 10k down, over charge you 5K and the banks happy because you’re 5K below the loan to value, meanwhile you put 10K down. With zero down, you won’t have that problem. If they’re charging too much the bank won’t approve it. Sure the payment is going to be higher, but you can always refinance later and out money down directly with the bank. Never tell them how much you want to spend each month. You tell the any amount and they start calculating how much commission they can make. Maybe you can pay it off in 5 years, they’ll put you in a 6 or 7 year and tell you they got the price you named.... most of the time not mentioning it’s a 72 or 84 month term.
I ordered a 2022 dodge ram 3500 larime longhorn 92 000 msrp. Hard to haggle on special order vehicle especially on high demand vehicles. My finacing will be done before i walk into dealer
I'm currently comparing 6-7 different vehicles between 2 brands. I'm not sure if I want a 3 row crossover, 2 row crossover, or get another sedan. There's no way for me to know exactly what I want without test driving and I don't give a damn if the dealer or salesperson is annoyed. If I'm going to spend 30k on something that I'm planning to keep for the next 8-10 years then they can show me what I want and earn my business.

With Hondas you always get more for the trade in because they better hold their value compared to other brands. I had a 2009 Honda with 213,000 miles and I got...4,500.00. My car looked brands new inside and out because I always took very good care of it.

$500 average payment for $25,000 average price. That is not a good deal at all.
My thoughts exactly. I’m like what, that doesn’t even make sense lol
After taxes titles, fee's, and interest. It will most likely be in the mid 400s.
It is extremely and blatantly obvious you’ve never bought a car before.
Do not finance with the dealer. Come in with financing from outside the dealer. Do not buy an extended warranty. Sell your trade-in yourself.
what is this, “give bad uneducated car buying advice day?”
Are toyota and hyundai virally marketed on youtube and reddit? I think they are
Come in with financing but let the dealer try and beat it.
I’m curious as to your reason why. Seems unnecessarily stand-offish
U just talked me out if buying a car. Will stick to my 02 civic with 280k mikes on it
Keep making those monthly payments. To yourself. You will be able to buy whatever you want in cash before your Civic quits for good.
I’m sticking to my 2006 Subaru with 189K miles, but Chevy Dude videos will be helpful when I’m ready!
That drop down text notification ad is genius 👌
A couple years later, but as a consultant in 2023 this is still dead on. Trust me, guys, we want the process to be quick and easy as much as you. We take up less of your time, make you happier, and we can see more customers. Win-win.
In the process of buying a new car (Chevy Trailblazer RS) I’ve been watching all ur vids. Wish you were here in NY, so you could be my car dealer. Thanks for all the video tips.
I’m also a viewer from New York went to my local dealer and had horrible experience I’m seriously considering flying out to deal with the Chevy dude
I’m here to help.
@@princesskkay221 hey Kelly glad you didn’t settle and that you got a deal that worked for you and I also have walked away from many deals
@@TheCoolDude1230 buying a new car is supposed to be fun but these car dealerships make it the exact opposite.
This is a sales tips gold mine. This guy is a true sales coach
I am a powersports salesmen. 100% honest and upfront on every interaction. Wish some of my customers where as honest as I am with them. LOVE sharing my passion for two wheels with my customers. Last job I will hopefully every have.
East coast? 👀
I put down 50% when I got my Silverado back in January. That being the case, I hope I won't have to worry too much about negative equity.

Went car shoping with my 3yr old autistic child and it was an absolute disaster (definitely my fault) so I've decided to stop worrying about really needing a new car, slow down, take my time, and do adequate research, it doesn't help I'm autistic as well but we live and learn.
The internet sales lady I contacted had my truck deal done in less than 2 hours and that included her bringing it to me:)
Your voice almost sounds like a sports announcer. I can hear you being an announcer for baseball. Great videos and tips. I'm watching your videos before buying a new car.
The voice, I ❤️ it! He speaks very clearly with so much energy and enthusiasm. He's a very charming dude! Thank you so much for the tips.
5 or 6% on a credit score of 800+ is crazy high. Here in South Texas I can get 0-3% on new year Supra just have to sign.
Is there a Ford dude? Seriously. I've been Chevy all my life, buuuut, not this time. I've highly appreciated all you've shared. Thank you!
This is what I'm shopping for now. What was your out the door price?
My last two leases with BMW it took me less than two hours total. About 1 hr to make a deal and I came back later on in the day the first time for 45 min to pick it up. The second lease was 1 hr to make a deal and about 1 hr to pick it up the next day. I would walk out of the dealership if they told me 4 hrs
Agree about the buying experience at BMW. It is so simple and almost nothing to really consider in the finance office that is offered but not pushed.
😲 110k miles in 20 years holy crap that’s nothing
1750 for a car.. holy cow
Thanks to you I finally figured out why they put a Chick-fil-A in a Toyota dealership so the customers won't get hungry and when they are coming to get lunch one of the cars looks very interesting and they end up wanting to get it.
My dealer gave me McDonald’s when I bought my car. But Chevy dude has a responded to my questions :(
if you have 700 plus credit score and they tell you more than 4%, leave immediately. 650+ I still get 3.05-3.44%.

If there are more good dealerships than there are bad, I have the worst luck in the world.
Never go in NEEDING anything. It changes the game. 😀
This is why I switched my major to accounting and not finance because finance managers in dealerships are the real crooks

Biggest mistake buying a new car when your current isn't paid off and using it as a trade in.

I rated mine 1 star and they did nothing. I filed a complaint with the manufacturer's customer care line and all they said is "dealerships are independent and can make whatever rules they want." Since no one seemed to care I hired a lawyer and won 20k back for all the shady and unbelievable stuff they did to me. They initially tried to just give me a free car wash lol I can't believe they're still in business

Yes banks. But not dealers.
JR
PS ...and yes - four hours is a good estimate for the transaction!!
Car Max sold my nephew a very nice Armada suv and 2 months later he saw that the title was for a salvage totaled vehicle they didn’t want to take the vehicle back, but they finally did when he told them he was going to report it to b.b.b.
it sounds like lots of people have unrealistic expectations. You cannot expect to buy a diamond ring or caviar for the same price as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Later years I decided to give it a try, and once they were explaining the 4 Square I knew why car sales had bad reputation and that I would Not be a car salesman on Principle.
After I test drive i tell them how much I will pay and what I want out of the deal out the door. They either take it or dont. Thats cash or finance its what I will pay. I dont have a problem leaving. There's always another car somewhere else.
Do you have any tips for someone who has never owned a car and wants to buy a car???
Don't let a dealer have your car as a trade in, he'll steal it from you. And do not pay any "fees" when you buy a new car. The only thing that's legit is the delivery charge.
Very good info, but remember… he’s a salesman
I was watching a podcast where this TH-camr was talking about how she bout a new Honda Civic for $12,000. What she said was she made them fight for her business. She went to one dealer and was like, "Well, this dealership is dropping his price by $1,000. What can you do?" And then went back to the original dealership and said the same thing. She did this until she got the price she wanted. Lol. Keep in mind, she was shopping for a car at the end of the year, so dealerships was trying to make space for new inventory.
Hey Mike! I am thinking about ordering my next car. Could you do a video on that. Pros and cons. Thanks!

*I have a perfect record and many yrs of ticket free driving*
Insurance estimate turn out to be another car payment per month.
Absolutely!

My family has gotten a GOOD DEAL on a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban LT on September 22nd, 2019 at Covina Chevrolet & it was relatively new around that time
There is a benefit to trading in your car, at least where I am in CT, the trade in price comes off the sale price before taxes.
A lot of his tips are to make the salesman's life easier hahahaha

One more suggestion that goes along with 1 and 6, is be well rested before going. Unfortunately, I have first hand knowledge of this one...
Also, I have never understood why someone would go and make the 2nd largest purchase (for most people) of their life, and not have a clue what it is going to be...
Would you do a video on which is better: paying cash or financing new or used vehicle? Would love to get some feedback on that.. great video btw!!
financing, cash is almost useless when purchasing anything that needs big credit. like cars, houses, and property.
Your example just strengthen my point.
Chevy Dude It was meant to. I wasn’t be critical. 🥂👍
Does trade in value count as money down? I don't have any money saved up but my car is worth $20k.
The title should be...”How to make the deal easier for the salesman”
When you follow his advice and are fully prepared before entering the dealership, it makes for an easier experience for both you and your salesman.
2021 avg car is actually 40k+ now thats facts. Its pretty sad 5 6% what a rip man 800 credit score, i got 3.25% rate
5 or 6 percent is terrible for an 800 score
Hey, you give solid advice. Seen many of your videos now, thanks and continue being honest!
