It's good that you also included the Head auxetic Extreme MP L!. However, not all tennis players are 14 to 39 years old, playing 2-3 times a week! The review is that it is a slightly lighter racket and plays longer with ease, with no serious disadvantages. Manufacturers largely ignore this segment and there isn't a huge selection of 275-290 gram racquets for women, leaner men, non-tournament-going adults, and others. From the bloggers too!

Great video - thankyou. You guys are doing this better than any other channel on youtube.

I have an older version - the Extreme Graphene 360 and it's an excellent racquet. The auxetic adds more comfort which the model needed. What I like about the Extreme is that it has spin and power. The design gives my flatter Eastern grip strokes more height over the net making it easy to keep the ball consistently in play. And, it adds some power to my game too which I need. Lastly, the design permits a variety of shots - my backhand slice can be driven (as opposed to float like many modern racquets). The design is excellent for kick serves.

And the most important question hasn't been answered. The comparison to the older version. Is it better? Is it worth the upgrade?

    • @rbarreira2
      @rbarreira2 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Rackets are almost never worth the upgrade. They almost always make very minor changes. In this case I saw a head marketing rep in another video talking about improvements to the "sound" the racket makes when hitting the ball, which makes me think they're really struggling to justify the ugprade.

Also, channels like this (no fault to them) are in the business of selling customers racquets.
Don't expect them to be trustworthy and say "the 2022 version is 97% as good as this one... And it's now discounted!" 😂

Good question - we have another video coming out (hopefully next week) that is the Extreme MP 22 vs Extreme MP 24

@@PH-Tennis Another great review - thanks guys.
When you compare the 2024 version to the 2022 version in your next video, could you share your thoughts on the feel and feedback between the two?
I think the 2022 feedback and feel of the MP is second to none. It’s what made me switch from the 3 generations of Yonex Ezones I owned previously.
Also would love to know whether the softness you mention of the 2024 version compromises the feedback in any way. Thanks!

Nice review again! I bought the 2022 Extreme MP L last year when I started to play tennis. For a beginner, not playing with spin yet, the balls tend to fly long very quickly.

Hello! What do you think are the biggest differences between the Head Extreme Pro and the Blade V9? Also, which type of player would benefit most from using the Blade V9 and the Head Extreme Pro (for a single handed backhand for example)? Thanks!

Great job with the specs. really like it. however we need the stiffness/RA and twistweight also... also maybe state that the swingweight you display is unstrung. better to display the swingweight strung. cheers. also balance strung is about 1 cm +

Really informative review as always. Makes me want an Extreme Pro even though I don't need one! It'd be fun to alternate between it and my 2024 Speed Pro, depending on my mood.

Fascinating that the specs are quite different from advertised. Almost makes comparing rackets based on advertised specs irrelevant. Even between a demo version and one you end up buying possibly being different. Not sure how manufacturers can justify the prices of rackets when their QC is that bad.

  • @stevenlee2178

Why do you measure swingweight in grams when it should be kg*cm^2? Most websites publish the numbers using this unit of measure
Also the stats on the chart for the TEAM is wrong

Ah, indeed you're correct. For the manufacturers spec, we went with the information HEAD gave us. ELITE details also incorrect (smh). Check out our website for correct details: www.ph-tennis.co.uk/collections/head-extreme-2024/products/head-extreme-elite-2024
