- We have tried Nano Bond on a few of our and our friends cars with good results so we put it on our new Land Rover Defender. I did lots or research and saw great test results with it on Scott HD.

I bought Nano Bond based on Scott HD's video. I did all the steps including a paint correction to prep for the Nano Bond. That was last November. Now, here in early July '23, It looks fabulous.
It’s good stuff
Phenomenal product
Would ceramic wash soap from turtle wax’ hybrid solutions be a bad idea for ongoing maintenance? Which wash soap do you use?
did this on 2 of our cars. Holding up like the day I did it after 6 months
I can say for sure. It's comparable to an expensive bottle of graphene coating i bought. I would rate this one 8.5. it's the 2nd best I've ever used and a little goes a long way with this product
I have bout it for a few friends now. Car guys gift haha.
Great vid! Love the jamming music!
Glad it helped
I appreciate this so much man! I'm about to do it on my BMW. I was wondering the cure time but you answered the question perfectly. Just wipe on and wipe off I'm assuming.
Yes just apply and wipe away.
Turn the music off
Ok. I just tried it for this video but haven’t done any more in our how to videos
Not being rude just like to here you better
Crank some Pantera and don't talk at all 😂
Did you do any paint correction(buffing/polishing) before applying the ceramic coating????
I normally do but because it was brand new and the dealer already their delivery detail I didn’t bother. Other cars I have done I do any areas needing some swirl or scratch removal with Meguiar’s ultimate compound
How’s is holding up?
Been looking to do my first ceramic coating. I’ve heard good things about this product. How long is the cure time?
Cure time was pretty much nothing. Wipe it on, wipe off excess. I left it in the garage overnight to be sure. 4 months of being parked outside in the Australian sun and it’s sill like the day I put it on.
Cure time is 48 hours. True, it is wipe on, wipe off but you need to wait for it to flash first.
Cure time is 48 hours. Cure time and 'wipe off' time is different. Yes, it is wipe on, wipe off but need to let it flash before wiping it off.
Can the small suede / microfiber cloth be washed to be able to do the car in sections at later dates?
@@taylorshiver3284 possibly but I just bought a bunch of Amazon. They are never the same after cleaning them
Can i use that on a smartphone screen and camera lens ?
It has been fine on the windshield but not sure how it will be on your lens and phone
I just used Nano Bond on the hood of my car and waited 3 minutes, but it was very hard to remove. The rag really drags. I flipped the rag 4 times and the surface still doesn't seem as slick as with wax. What am I doing wrong? I clayed it first and then wiped down with decontamination spray.
Add more on a section and see how that goes. Mine was super slick
@@TheEddysGarage I tried another area and buffed it off a little sooner, and had the same results. The product is 2 years old, I wonder if that is the issue. A friend let me use some of his Crystal Serum Light and it was much easier to buff off.
@@ultrastryk yes it is possible gone off because of its age
I've had the same issue. Very clingy surface but quite shiny, almost as if I applied tire shine on it
Can you do this on tires?
I haven’t tried but there are specific ceramic tire products out there
@@TheEddysGarage cool video
Nano bond failed after a month of car sitting outside, some rain, pollen, dust, bird poop etc... typical stuff. Trunk and hood surface got eaten away and showed spotting under inspection light. Had to repolish and use another brand of coating. I do not recommend this. I used it based on reviews on YT and Amazon. Wasted days of vehicle prep for this hoping it was be good since years ago I had great success with 22ple branded coatings lasting 5 yrs with beading. I figured technology must have improved and was proven wrong in my assumptions.
My black defender has been sitting outside in the Australian sun for almost a year and the wettest wet season on record and water still beads on all panels. My car was brand new when I applied it and I washed it with a normal car shampoo followed by an iron remover for prep.
Ive had great results with this! With you received a bad batch or you somehow didn’t prep fully
@@pleaseletitgo1818 I've been coating for over a decade... this was almost junk in terms of performance. Bad batch? Maybe. It certainly wasn't bad prep since I take days to prep with multiple stages of surface cleaning and wipes.
How many cars can you do with one bottle
I did 3 cars and 1 set of wheels then gave the rest to a friend to do his MX5 so that’s pretty good.
You weren't waiting long enough. 2 to 3 minutes to flash. Wait until you see the rainbow.
The instructions say to wipe off immediately. There are other coatings that say to wait for the rainbow
@@MarckySportsDenver Well that would explain why it didn't work. The instruction that came with my 9h Pro says to wait up to 5 minutes depending on temperature and that it could be a lot less if it's warm but to use the rainbow flash as the guide to know when to wipe off. If you just applied and wiped it off immediately, then it had no time to setup.

Haha I wish I got this for free 🤣 I bought a bottle for a friend overseas and did this as an instructional video for him. Hope you learned a bit from it too
