The shelf design changed before this video was posted. It now costs more and has more limited space with a metal shelf that extends across the entire length. Grovemade says this is to “increase storage”.
I had just noticed this because i am looking to buy one but I personally dislike the new change because I liked having the more open area. By chance do you know if there are places you can purchase the ‘older’ model shelves with the more open space?
@@iTeknique_ Same. I ended up buying a $50 shelf that looks almost like an exact replica on amazon, with 3 cork feet and no subdivided shelving. It's definitely not GM quality, but it looks great in opinion, and more functional (for my use anyway). The main shelf piece seems to be plywood with a thin sheet of some kind of laminate on top with wood texture. It looks natural though

Please let me know which type of grovemade desk shelf you have purchased. You mentioned that it is Walnut grovemade, but when I checked the link you provided, I found two kinds of Walnut, Walnut Plywood, and Solid Walnut.

I agree their products are awesome, but their customer support is dismal. I ordered their pen like 2 months ago and it still hasn't arrived. They just keep sending me these "supply chain issues" emails. Didn't offer me a discount or a coupon code or nothing. I'm a little bit disappointed in Grovemade so far to be honest.
The company doesn’t ship out what they have in stock and they take your money. And can’t reply to emails due to too many emails. All emails are generic. Tells me they have allot of unhappy customers
That's sad to hear, have you tried contacting their social media accounts?
Nobody should have to hunt a company down on social media for customer service, especially a “premium” brand.
