Awesome vibe to the video and setup! Love the minimalism. I use my M2 Air vertically docked on my desk. It's connected to a USB-C hub that I have command stripped to the back edge of my desk. All peripherals plug in there. When I need to take the laptop on the go, it's unplugging one cable and I'm on my way. Love the seamless transition from desktop mode to laptop mode! Also...gotta say I really like the aspect ratio on this video. Nice to see something different.

Finally a setup that doesn’t have the same standing desk. Nothing wrong with them but it’s nice to see something more original. Appreciate the inspiration.

It looks spectacular! If you hadn't mentioned that the table wasn't originally designed to be used as a desk, I never would have guessed! Especially because of how well you organized it and because I totally love huge desks. My current desk is a Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design and although it's not as big as your table, at least I chose it because I loved its style. Your work setup looks a lot like what I want to achieve in mine, so your video has given me some good ideas. Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for the office tour, looks very nice! Don't you struggle though with the printer that high up on the shelves? I'd imagine that any maintenance (replacing toner, printer) or even general scanning would be a hassle with it on the top shelf?

Nice video Brady! How is the height/ergonomics of the studio display when it is on top the grovemade desk shelf for you? I’m 5,11” for reference, and wondering if it would be a bit too high or if it’s fine before I purchase a similar set up. Thanks!
I’m 5’8” and haven’t had any issue. I’d imagine monitor height though comes down to personal preference.

Did you paint the cork base of the shelf? The cork base of the product I received is in a dark brown shade, but the shelf you have looks like dark gray or black.

Sometimes I eat at my desk, and while leather mat easy to wipe down, wool matt would pick up dirt and crumbs. (Perhaps it washes easy, but for long hours, would not work for me.)

Yeah, I haven’t noticed any slow-down yet. Grading 4K ProRes in Resolve without any issue.

I don’t know why, but I love that this is in 4:3. I feel like content creators changing aspect ratios of their content makes sense but I’m not sure how it makes sense, if that makes any sense.
I find 4:3 a bit more intimate and cozy. Akin to home movies. Felt like that aligned with the feeling of this video.

I've just been watching some other videos in 4:3 lately and I found them to feel more cozy and intimate. For this kind of video, that made sense to me thematically.

It's just an extension cord that runs from the wall underneath the carpet and up and beneath the desk. Nothing fancy.
Everbody on TH-cam has the same stuff which is promoted by filiate marketing. I dont know wheather their products are good but they seem to have a good Marketing and quite high prices
Suddenly all the streamers have those full Grovemade accessories that cost 1360$ (i presume without US tax) so let's say round 1600$ net. Wow. For that money you can build a new room. These things look nice but are WAY too overpriced. Is Grovemade giving them away to every streamer for free?
I bet you could do all of them in the DIY version for max. 400$, if not even less. I for example did the Monitor stand (walnut) myself for exactly 38 EUR (6EUR wood, 12EUR cork, 7EUR plastic undershelf, 5EUR glue, 8EUR walnut dye stain) and 2 days of work. Learned a few things myself, had great fun DIY'n it and spared "only" 360EUR (the Grovemade stand + delivery to EU would cost me around 400EUR).

Hi I'm have been tasked to create a utube channel by my church and I am still lost could you help me in customizing the channel
2:53 this is not your fault..but it looks ugly with all those cables. Apple designed such a clean, beautiful monitor with a clean back to show of…and then the cluttered hub on the backside! I wish apple had designed a solution for that. Since the Power cord is fixed..they could have made a one cable solution with a hub inside a kind of external power brick like hub.
where are the files? everything is so expensive, it s not my idea of a minimal desk, sorry

great tech but bad video quality which I mean is colours are bad I am watching it on a MacBook Pro M1 Pro and this looks horrible. great video though just adjust your colours to P-3
