@@pquirke I’m really sorry to hear that. You could try Telegram but I have no idea what they can do about it to be honest. The whole thing is just a pretty horrible situation. This one is on TH-cam to prevent the spam comments from continually appearing.
Logitech MX Master 3, just because I have one too, but those Grovemade things look really good too. Just nit-picking but maybe you should match the colours of the wallpapers on the display and iPad.
I would try the mechanical keyboard from Logitech. It’s a bit pricey as I already have the Logitech mx keys

Thanks very much for these behind-the-scenes videos. Some TH-camrs avoid them as they think it adversely affects algorithm et cetera. But I think people genuinely want to see how we put things together and therefore it’s all good stuff!

The dream desk setup is an unobtainable utopian state of existence that I am unable to achieve. My desk layout places just about all of my devices right where I need them. To reach. To see. To charge. Etc … But it’s all butt-ugly. My devices are not color-coordinated. Placement of lighting and devices appear haphazard. And the cables. Good googly-moogly! They’re everywhere, they're hideous, and they’re unavouldable. I gave up about a year ago.
Well, not really. While I overhauled the family office area about 10 years ago, I’m close to doing that again. I’m looking for innovative and clever ideas to cleanly layout my tech, hide those evil cables, and look good while still being functional.
Bottom line: I’m jealous of Mark’s production desk 😆

Nice setup! I’ve been thinking about the grovemade monitor stand and shelf… but the import cost to EU is just 😢. Oh a question: now that you’ve changed your iPhone mini to the 14 Pro Max… do you still use your iPad mini as often as before?
Nice setup you got there, Mark! I'm really digging that keyboard. Ithat knob can be very good for finer controls like adjusting values especially if you deal a lot of finer edits like animation in After Effects, or color correction in Da Vinci.

The ssd placement is a easy fix. Get longer cables and put them in a better place. I have mounted my ssd under the desk with velcro so it can be removed easily when needed.

I bought exactly the same desk as you two months ago. Its great. Tomorrow I will receive an Apple Studio Display with an adjustable stand, so I hope it won't be too close to my eyes, becose depth of desk is 60 cm only. I also want to buy a Loupedeck, but I don't know if live or ct version... I like to see yours videos and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for further production. Juraj

I love the MBP stand. I have one that's built like a tank (a very heavy metal kind of one), so it's not going to get pushed off my desk. It has rubber where yours has the softer material. This one has three slots so it fits my MBP, an iPad v7 and if it's in here, the iPad Mini v6 or my phone. It gave me more room on the desk and If I truly need it, I can still pull out the MBP and set it on the desk in front of me. Your stand has a bit more artistic flare to it and I like things with wood in it, but strangely, not for my desk. You have great taste in mice, too! The desk shelf would be great - I'd need mine to be adjustable because I'm really short so I haven't found a stand that's only an inch high. That would be about perfect. I'd beg you to do a video on the Logitech keyboard that goes with the mouse but it's not a mechanical keyboard. I can't understand why people like mechanical keyboards. I LIKE people not being aware that I'm typing. I absolutely LOVE the magnetic iPad Mini stand. I have a phone and watch stand that uses a magnet inside my phone case that I just recently bought for my bedroom. It's another space saver for me. Enjoy your new set up! It comes down to ... Really nice setup Mark, the only problem I have with Grovemade products is importing them to the UK from the US. Had to pay nearly £90 on duty and VAT for the shelf I ordered. Won't be ordering from them again unless they find a UK distributor.

I like your production desk, and the wool felt mat, but what about the mat(s?) on your other desk? It looks like you have carpet tiles on top. Please explain, because if they are carpet tiles, I need to go to Lowes and get some.
