Awesome job! I’m currently in the process of getting pieces together to build my own desk. Definitely want a desk shelf and glad I came across your video. Quality looks great. Plus there’s no better feeling that making something yourself. The desk shelves on those sites are insanely overpriced. Hope to see more content come! Thanks again!
Very good but don’t sand down the top part of the legs because that reduces the amount of surface they can use to touch each other and will reduce sturdiness
Omg i needed this so much ! I am currently on the planing of my setup and this is the exact thing i imagined as a desk shelf Thank you so much especially the material list
I like the finished product but I think it would be better if it was a bit deeper like at least 10inches so you could put probably some studio monitors so something of that sort. Great video though.
That's really cool. And I'm glad you had no experience with this and still went for it. My first project is gonna be something similar (a "shelf" for my desktop PC on the ground so I can store books, sleeping aids, etc. there). Question, did you use a screw driver to screw in those screws?
Awesome video, right after I build my desk, I was going to buy the same desk shelf from Grovemade. Thank you for changing my mind and saving me money. Quick questions what is the length and width of your legs?
I’m digging my new desk shelf, finally feels like I’ve completed my desk now! Anyone else always tweaking their setup?
I love the way that you explain how to use bracket in this video

That was awesome, extremely useful and so much better than paying all that money for other pre-made ones. It turned out beautiful! Thank you so much.
Great work Ben! Definitely giving me the inspiration to build my own (one day).
Just what I needed, thank you so much for the inspo!!!
Thanks. I want to make one like this but bigger. Hopefully it will come out as quality looking as yours!
The wireless charger was a nice touch! 👌
This is exactly what I’m looking for!
Thanks this shelf looks awesome. I will try it out myself next week :)
Thank you! Have fun with it
Thank you for this guide that desk shelf from Grover is stupid expensive.

Good luck with your project! I used an electric drill with a screw driver bit on for the screws
You just saved me $$$$
That's what we like!
Awesome 👌🏻
Nice job what type of would did you use.
Thank you! Its just 1/2 inch plywood
Awesome video, right after I build my desk, I was going to buy the same desk shelf from Grovemade. Thank you for changing my mind and saving me money. Quick questions what is the length and width of your legs?
Thank you!! Glad you're going the DIY route, honestly so rewarding! The legs are 4.5 inches tall and wide.
That was a really nice wood for the wood panel, what type of wood did you use??
It was just cheap 1 inch plywood from Home Depot. Lots of sanding and then staining to make it look semi professional
@@benknights3445 looks so good!! Well done mate!
is it pronounced like “invision” ? way to tackle the project. loved your ingenuity.
Yeah but without the i, so just nvision
Do you have more pictures of the shelf?
Great VIdeo
