"Are you sure you want to know?" Truly horrendous bedside manner. And when you were asking about the imaging and what it showed, there WAS a doctor there who could have told you. And to be diagnosed with a cyst like that over the phone and not make the ultrasound a priority shows how apathetic doctors have become lately. You are such a bright, well spoken young lady and I wish you the very best. The world of social work needs more people like you.
I had a malignant teratoma at the age of 22 also. I had chemotherapy and surgery and now I’m 56 with two grown children. Best of luck to you. You got this❤️
So many doctors treat women complaining of pain as if they're weak, or faking it, or seeking medicine. Thank you for for telling us not to settle when they dismiss our pain and tell us that it's nothing!

Or medically gaslighting you and making you feel you are a hypochondriac. If your doctor dismissed you stop wasting your time. Get a second opinion, third, fourth or .. until you find a doctor that listens to you believes you. Do your own medical research. My mom and I would not be alive if I did not do medical research and be persistent.
Thank you for sharing your story in such an honest and detailed way. You are going to be the best social worker and never let people get pushed away. Hope you’re doing well, keep us all updated. I’m rooting for you 💕
This is such a sweet comment!! Thank you so much. It is my dream to pursue a career that involves helping people. I’m doing very well and I will post an update video in the coming weeks ❤️
@@annekalunn8567 I am so sorry Anneka. I have lost all my older family on two sides, thankfully have a wonderful family. I hope you have surrounded yourself with love.
It's not luck sweetness it's the Lord saving you! The great thing is if it does come back the doctor can catch it early. I know this because I'm a uterus lining cancer survival. It's been a little over two years and I'm doing great! It's God, not luck! Hang in there! You are doing great!
So you've been cancer free for 30years? My friend had an ovarian cancer at the age of 19. I hope for your reply. I wish I could encourage her through this. Thank you.Godbless
i've heard way too many stories of women getting their health issues brushed off then months or years later they find out its cancer and it's usually terminal at that point. when really if the doctor took them serious they could've treated it when it still wasn't as bad. its terrible and the doctors should be held accountable
Thank you for sharing your story ❤ My grandmother died at age 30 from ovarian cancer. This was after she had 4 children. I love hearing real story's and symptoms just in case I end up inheriting it. Hope you are doing well and pray it doesn't come back.
I know this was posted 8 mo's ago and I am hoping things are going well for everyone that has gotten this diagnosis. When my daughter was 33, she was diagnosed with clear cell OVCA. Her Doctor brushed it off originally as an ovarian cyst. She insisted that it was something different.. so just as you said..you have to be your own advocate and be persistent with these doctors. My daughter had to have her chemo first, then a total hysterectomy. I am proud to say that after almost 20 years later she remains cancer free. She went back to college..obtained her master's and is a science teacher. Oh and she was also a single parent back then with 3 small kids. I hope for the best for anyone with this nasty disease and that all of you are kicking cancers ass like my daughter. I am forever thankful.
This was in my recommendations. Woah, I was diagnosed with this exact cancer when I was 18. Im 27 now with 3 boys and doing fine. I went through 6 rounds of chemo. I had symptoms like you but you never really think its anything. What made me get checked was the fact that I could feel the tumor when I pressed down on my stomach. I was lucky the cancer stayed only in the tumor. They told me it was rare for it to come back again. I pray it won't. I've never known anyone else, especially so young with this type of cancer. It feels like it a dream when I think back to it. But going through it made my perspective on everything change, in a good way. I wish you the best, you're going to look back at this one day and remember how much stronger it made you. 💗
You have no idea how much hope this gives me. That’s exactly right - I could literally push on my stomach and it was bulging. I pray that I’m able to have children in the future. My oncologist decided to hold off on chemo for the time being. So proud of you for continuing on and thank you for sharing ❤️
@@CatherineSaoud yes this comment! Hope you dont mind but I prayed that you have peace now and children in future if you so desire. Doctors have way scare life out of you keep your mind and heart on positive. YOU GOT THIS ❤

I have a super rare form of clear cell ovarian cancer which my dr says my endometriosis caused. I’m 24. Keeping you in my prayers! It’s hard finding a new normal in a new normal caused by a pandemic. Stay strong! We will overcome this ♥️🙏🏽
I hope that both of you get well soon early I’m 16 and preparing for medicine & if I get selected hopefully I seriously will become an oncologist and dedicate my life to study the genetics & anatomy of cancer, I know in near future a final cure would be made for this particular disease n even if I won’t be able to find one I would work towards it. I really hope that you both really get well soon and seriously thank u so much for being so so so strong 💖 My prayers are with you and may god bless you! Please stay safe and remember you are a fighter n you can do it My heartiest love to you both I hope you are bit better now 💜
You are such an articulate and intelligent woman. I am a nurse, I see a lot of young, healthy people who have their lives turned upside down with cancer. Sometimes there is no logical or scientific explanation as to why these things happen. Life is unfair that way sometimes. I am sending you so much positive energy for your healing. So much love to you x
I have no idea why this came up on my home feed but wow...What a brave presentation..so honest and raw and beautiful. As an ER nurse for 15 years I promise you that your story is helping some woman out there watching. Keep praying and keep believing that you are strong and amazing and this is not the end of your journey!
I was told age 19 I had cysts on my ovaries and not to worry....they are NORMAL....same thing you were told. Same tests same things were told to me as well. My stomach got huge as well. The pain is insane ...lower back pain, got bed ridden several times as well. Well the day came they found what I knew was there....They wanted to remove my uterus but did some concurrent tests that found the Cancer had moved...common word matastesize .....Now I'm told they are concerned about a rapid spread and another choice given....live with it until, well you get it ...I'm glad your on top of this and not waited like me....God bless you young lady!
Hi! I had similar symptoms to you as well and I was 18, 19 now. Earlier this year I was bloating and had frequent urination and such. We went to the doctors and they kept telling me it was constipation. 3 months in from seeing the doctor my stomach did go down a little but not much. My mom really pushed for an ultrasound. So I eventually got it, in the end they found a cyst of 20cm. It was basically my entire stomach and was pushing in my bladder. I had a laparotomy surgery two weeks ago and I’m recovering from it, good news was it was a mature teratoma! All I gotta say is you really gotta be able to push for things like this. Since symptoms are usually dismissed for something else. This video was in my recommendation and I’m glad it was hope your doing better!
Wow, almost identical stories except my teratoma was immature! My cyst was 21cm, so you definitely feel my pain. I’m so glad you’re doing well and thank you for such a sweet comment!

Catherine, I'm a guy, but hearing you tell, your stories, it's like I have ovaries, an I'm hurting with you through this whole process, especially down it that region of my pelvis. I stand with you in solidarity, not because I'm a guy and not a lady, but because feminine cancers run in my family. I am with you every step of the way.
Thank you for sharing your story, I'm 40 years old and I recently been diagnosed with stage-4 cervical cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes, it's videos like this that help me and I'd like to thank you for opening up and sharing
"if your body is telling you that you're in pain, if your body has made these changes, there's probably something to be concerned about" YES thank you for this. pain is not normal, it indicates something is wrong. it can be from a "normal" cause like regular menstrual cramps or pain after surgery, of course, etc. but anything chronic or random seemingly without cause should be investigated. women especially are told that our pain is normal when it is often not. it might not just mean cancer (which is rather rare for certain age groups) but could mean endometriosis, ovarian cysts, nerve or muscle pain, etc. so many causes, and I strongly believe that patients women especially should and need to be their own advocates. fight for answers, it could potentially even save your life.
Your mom sounds like an angel! There is nothing like having your momma who just makes everything better the minute you hear her voice. Your story is so touching that it made me cry, but I am so relieved that you are okay. Thank you for sharing. Praying for you to have a future full of many blessed years. God is so good!
I work in healthcare and I am in my late 30s it means so much to me to hear your story and that of others that have these experiences so I can advocate myself and my patients.
Hi my name is Jaimie. I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I had a ovarian teratoma that was found to be the size of a 22 week old fetus when I was 13 years old. I am now 22. They told me that it was most likely to be my twin!! My friends in school actually named it lol. I had the same exact symptoms as you. Thank goodness you were finally taken seriously! Do not ever feel like you are alone with this! I am now studying to be a imaging tech and graduate in May!
You are in my prayers. I'm so sorry this happened to you at such a young age. More of us need to educate others to not ignore the symptoms for an extended amount of time.
Thank you for educating us on this. I’m a Mom of a grown daughter and my heart goes out to you and your poor mom. I know she must have worried fiercely over you. You are smart and will stay on top of this. Good luck sweetheart.
I can't imagine going through all of that during a pandemic. I was just talking to my own family not too long ago about how lucky I was going through my own experience with a rare ovarian cancer when I did and with the team I had. I was fifteen when I was first diagnosed with my own ovarian cancer. I do think that with the right mindset you can make it through it. It's a surreal feeling where it doesn't feel like your life, but is, and there will eventually be days where you almost don't think about it (save for the scars). Keep advocating for yourself. I've had so many doctors over the years who have disregarded my "feelings" on something, even after I had gone through cancer treatments multiple times...The fight gets old, but if you build a strong team to work with you it gets easier. I will keep you in my thoughts as your go through your journey.
Thank you for sharing your story. I’m sorry you had to go through so much to get a diagnosis. Good on you for being persistent, it’s easy to let doctors convince you it’s nothing.
Thank you for your sweet comment. The pandemic made it really difficult and not to mention student health just being ill equipped to deal with serious issues. Once I was turned over to the right person, I got the help I needed.
Wow. I needed this. I have had some weird symptoms, but I always downplay it and say to myself "it's nothing serious". I should really get it checked up. Thank you. Wishes from Sweden.
Wow, you are so strong. That line towards the end, "We're only given things that we can handle" really hit me hard. I lost my mom to cancer last July and it's been so hard. You made me realize that although I feel like my world is falling apart, I'm getting through it.
I started having pain in October 2019, I finally had surgery to remove a 20cm cyst on my right ovary in December 2020. Pain has increased again since February this year, it’s a nightmare trying to be taken seriously when it comes to pain and symptoms. Thanks for making this encouraging video about your own experience 🙏❤️
@@Cinthialavesyuu yes they found it by ultrasound but they didn't see how big it was until the surgery. I think they thought it was about 9 cm. I am doing better thank you :) x

I can't believe it! I'm going trough an ovarian cancer right now and it's been really hard due to the pandemic. I felt alone and hopeless but hearing your story helped me a lot, thanks for sharing ✨ greetings from México.

Randomly stumbled upon your video. Sorry you got ovarian cancer at such a young age. You're doing great advocating cancer for younger women. I always say cancer doesn't discriminate. I am a 5.5 year breast cancer survivor. Diagnosed at the age of 28. The pain and struggle is real. You've got this girl
This was randomly recommended to me and I watched every second. Thank you for sharing your story and I hope more women take uterus and pelvic pain and cramping seriously. I am so glad you are doing better and I wish you the best!! 😊
Recommended to me after having months or random cramps and changed periods. Just left my transvaginal US and looking into results. I had HPV when I was 21 so you already know where my mind is going. Waiting for my Pap smear and speaking to MD on results next week.
You will be a brilliant social worker. Your demeanor, your intelligence, your dignity and even your articulate presentation along with this trauma mean you will be able to help people in a way others couldnt. Everything happens for a reason. As a mum to a 26 year old my heart broke to bits for you but you have got this Catherine. Later in life write your story .. because this will happen again to some poor lass. Bless you. You are a lovely brave young woman, enjoy each day to the maximum. When youve had a child ..consider getting a total hysterectomy love. Its not worth the risk. God bless darling. 💕🙏🦋🐈

I’m so glad this was helpful! That was my goal for this video is that if it helps one person, then it makes it worth it. It was a long 2 months of pain waiting for the doctors to figure it out. Hopefully they get answers quickly ❤️
A friend of mine, her daughter just went through two surgeries in the end of fall/beginning of winter for a cancerous teratoma on her ovary. She’s 15. This is so wild. I’m so happy you’re healing and recovering well 🥰
You are an amazing young lady! I’m a bit lost for words to describe your strength and how much I admire you. I’ve been a nurse for 48 years and don’t think I’ve ever come across someone your age who has the strength and knowledge that you have. I’m sending loves of prayers and love ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m going through testing and scans for ovarian cancer and feeling very nervous right now. Thank you so much for sharing such a personal story. I find that there aren't a lot of these sort of intimate videos online that inform about this disease from people who have personally gone through it. Most of the videos i look up are extremely old/vague symptoms etc, and i appreciate you for shedding light on this. I pray that God heals you physically, mentally and spiritually and emotionally.
Wow. I have not heard of other women with the same situation. I was diagnosed at 12 years old with a rare form of ovarian cancer just like yours. I had very similar signs and symptoms: bloated stomach, abnormal menstrual cycle, pain throughout my entire abdomen, could not stand straight, etc...I actually felt the tumor drop in my stomach during P.E. class when doing push ups. I went in about two months of being in pain hoping it would go away, but I was wrong, and your message says it all....Go get checked and be your biggest advocate! They couldn't believe the size of my tumor (described similarly as the size of a football). They removed my left ovary and greater omentum, and I went through about 6 months of chemotherapy. It was a journey. I am now almost 28 years old (so almost 16 years without any issues recurring). I am also a mom of two boys...never thought I would be able to have children, so I feel incredibly blessed. You are incredibly strong for sharing this, I wish you all the love through your journey. xoxo ❤️
Thank you for your testimony! It’s amazing to hear from people like you. It gives me hope that I get to be a mom and don’t necessarily have to suffer recurrence. ❤️
Wow!! You're so strong and inspiring. I have some lower abdominal pain in Jan 2017. It's wasn't bad. In May it was very bad and when June 2017 rolled around it was unbearable. When the pain went to right leg i couldn't walk. After a few hours it went away. I had my good and bad days too. My parents and i pushed to get that ultrasound earlier cause i couldn't wait a whole month. They told me it a 9cm ovarian cyst and it could be a tumor. I was devastated. I was in surgery June June 21st, 2017. They were wrong. I had a very inflamed Uterus and they had to do a complete hysterectomy. I was 32 years old. It was still a shock being told that in the recovery room. It was a scary thing to think that i may have cancer. Thankfully for me it wasn't the case. I hope your cancer doesn't return. Stay safe. xx
I just got diagnosed with this exact cancer at 24! You are the only person who has documented their experience that I know of, so thank you it’s very helpful. I am stage 2 and I had my surgery about a month ago. I got pathology results back a few days ago, and they got it all out without removing any ovaries, just one Fallopian tube. It was 32cm big! but it was stage 2 so I’ll be starting chemo next week. It’s so weird because I was so relieved when I got the diagnosis because I was expecting a lot worse and this is one of the only ovarian cancers that is considered curable! You are so right about advocating for ourselves, I almost didn’t go to the doctor but thank god I did.

Hi Laura I please would like an update if you have one This is my story Hi there. My name is Aliyah and I’m 22 years old and a mom to a 2 year old daughter. My mom had cervical cancer, my aunt and grandma breast cancer, and my cousin died of brain tumors at 25 years old . I have been having pain in my stomach for many months, no peorids in 8 months but swollen in my stomach and hard like I’m 3 months pregnant. I also have had white foamy stool and Back pain and always feeling full and going pee. I have begged the doctors to help me but I was in the er until 3am the other night for them to tell me nothing is wrong with me I just have a stomach bug. Could this be true? I also have had a lump in my breast and a cyst on my ovary that my obgyn dismissed I have medicade so I tried to make an appointment with a different doctor and they won’t let me please what do I do I don’t want to ignore this and die while I have a daughter but no doctor seems to care.. I’ve been so reluctant to believe myself because my daughters family on her dads side are all nurses and tell me I’m just crazy and a hypochondriac but I’ve never even thought or said something was wrong with me until after symptoms started
Sorry for my language but YOU ARE BLOODY AMAZING! I recently too had a cancer scare and I was so fortunate that I was told it was nothing and just a small mole on my cervix. But the waiting time to be seen during the pandemic was awful and my anxiety was through the roof. But watching what u went though only tells me how strong you really are and I really do hope and pray this does not come back for you and you have a very long and happy life. Please just keep pushing to be seen if ur in doubt of anything.
So happy for you that you caught it early! Sticking up for yourself and having good doctors is so so important. When I first moved to Ireland from the US, I had terribly painful period pain and frequent UTI's. The first doctor I went to only wanted to ask about my sexual activity, and when I told her I had a partner, she insisted over and over in that one appointment that it was my boyfriend that was dirty and not cleaning himself properly, and that I needed to talk to him about improving that because that's why I had recurring UTIs (seriously..). Needless to say, I immediately went to a new doctor, and she didn't hesitate to order a transvaginal ultrasound and send me to an OBGYN. I had multiple large cysts and a lot of vitamin deficiencies that were really wrecking havoc on my body. Everything ended up being ok and was treatable, but I always knew it wasn't "nothing." Whenever I mention something even minor to my new doctor, her attitude is that she has to "prove" to me that I'm ok. I value and appreciate her so much, and wish everyone could have a doctor like I have now!
One doctor told me that I wasn't wiping correctly after using the bathroom and another told me I was using the wrong soap to clean myself in the shower, lmao!! So glad we didn't fall for those silly answers. I'm proud of you for pushing for answers and finding a new doctor that took you seriously. Thank you for sharing your story!
Hi hun , just wanted to say , so pleased you got medical treatment for your condition after waiting so long , I think u are so brave and very strong ! Good for you for advocating for yourself. You’re half my age and you did a much better job of advocating for yourself than I did. I’ve been trying to get an appointment with my OBGYN for a year now and they kept trying to schedule me for a telehealth appointment and also charge me full price. I told them over and over again that I needed a pelvic exam, that I didn’t feel right, that I have cramps, and I need a Pap smear. My GP doctor tried to send me to a different doctor who didn’t have any appointments for 3 months. I finally called him again and said that my Mom died of this kind of cancer and I’m not waiting anymore. So I got an appointment with another doctor, finally, and yes, I have a cyst that now needs to be biopsied. I wish I was in Chicago because as badly as you were treated, at least you got to see an actual doctor more quickly. I am worried that in the year that I’ve had to wait my situation got worse. I feel for you that you’ll have this hanging over you for the rest of your life.
Hi did you have an update? This is my story Hi there.
Hi that’s what they told me in graduate school for sw that all these experiences will make me into a intuitive social worker.... glad you are surviving this 😊
Not sure if I mentioned this in my video, but I'm currently in grad school for SW and my professors said the same exact thing! Thank you for your kind words!
Hi, just found your video. Although my breast cancer seems to be in remission, my protein marker keeps going up. I get scans every 6 months, and see my oncologist regularly. Cancer is the gift that keeps giving! I am glad you are doing well, stay strong!
So sad yet inspiring at the same time. I recently lost my mum to secondary breast cancer, cancer really doesn’t discriminate age, social status etc… I’m so glad you’re okay, and I hope you live a full and happy life 💖💖💖
I dealt with abdominal pain, thinking it was normal until I finally got a CT scan after a year of pain. Turns out I had an extremely rare teratoma tumor (not a cyst), INSIDE my ovary at 15 years old. Thankfully it was benign, but my reproductive health is something I still worry about. You’re so strong! 🙏🏻 thanks for sharing your story!
this just came into my recommendations but thank you so much for sharing ur story, you’re an incredible woman and i wish you the best. much love from the UK ☺️❤️
I randomly got this video recommended. I just want to say YOU ARE AMAZING! You are so right about people getting dealt with what they can handle. You are already something special and the things you will do in this world will only make it a better place.
I had the same grade and stage as you. I had it at 17. The only difference is, I did chemo after the intial surgery. Mine was caused by a genetic mutation. I understand fully what you went through. My doctors wrote me off for many months too. I hope all is well!
You are right that you must be your own advocate. Keep pushing until you are satisfied that you have an answer. You had a positive outcome that the cancer had now spread because of it. Continued success for the future!
Gosh that was so much to go through so young. Telehealth can't examine u and its been so long alot of patients can't be seen. Im happy u got it out and were your own advocate. I hope your scans are all good. 🙏🙏🙏
I admire your positive attitude and outlook. You are an exceptional young lady. I just had an endometrial biopsy yesterday after having an abnormal abdominal ultrasound, and your video is encouraging to me as I wait for results. Thanks so much for your courage. I wish you all the best in life.💗🌸💖
I am so so mad at medical professionals for treating SO many women not like men. I just know that if a man would've had the pain and worry that you had, he would've had a diagnosis way earlier and would've been taken more serious. I'm binge watching ovarian/cervival cancer videos right now to learn how to become a better doctor in terms of the social aspect and l started bawling because l'm so angry at the system and how so many women have to suffer for no damn reason. Thank you for doing this video!
This is one of the main reasons I wanted to share my video with my friends and family! I know how much privilege I hold and if it was that tough for me to be taken seriously, imagine how difficult it is for women of color, lower SES, etc… I am so glad you are taking the time to do your research. I hope more doctors do things like that in the future!
It is well ,you will be okay And yes ladies whenever you feel something wrong in your body go get checked, because if it was never there it is not normal, dont let anyone tell you that it is normal if it has not been there But all in all you will be well
Good luck to you and in the future!! Always stay positive and never give up on your dreams. Prayers for u ❤❤😉. Your are Brave/Inspirational!! YOU WILL BE AN AWESOME SOCIAL WORKER!! 😁😀
God bless you. My 30-year-old niece is in the ER as we speak. Surgery tomorrow. Praying that her outcome is positive. Praying that you will remain cancer free.
Thank you DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on TH-cam I was seriously diagnosed with vaginal sick for 10years now, after 17days of using DR RORPOPOR medicine on TH-cam I was revived back, now I'm 3weeks pregnant,God bless you💐💐💐
You’re a very special young lady. I love your great outlook on life and how mature you have handled such serious news. I think you are going to make an awesome social worker. Sending you healing vibes and love!
This video made me realize I should not think twice to go to the doctor, I am having very similar symtoms as you, one side pain then radiates to the other side and abdominal bloating. Hope you are better and thanks for the detailed and informative video. Hope you the best!
I am so sorry that this happened to you. You seem like a very smart, strong, beautiful and brave young woman. I am inspired by the way that you have confronted your diagnoses so head on and with such strength and resilience. I wish you all the best in life and health. Thank you for sharing your story!

If you ever need to talk to someone about this, I'm here! Sending you all the love while you take on this battle!

I was listening to your video and looked at my lab results for my biopsy for endometrial cancer.. I am happy to say that it came back negative. I still face surgery to remove a 6.5 cm complex ovarian cyst. Like you my belly was bloated and I had some discomfort. Some nausea, some pain, but no bleeding. I know I'm in the same position as many who were unable to physically see the Dr for months. I sympathize with everyone going through this. God bless and continue to stay healthy.

@@aena5995 ultrasound takes pictures for diagnostic purposes. A biopsy is a little more invasive, where they remove a tissue sample like endometrial tissue, which they send off to a lab to see if it's benign or cancerous. Anything that pertains to your condition personally, would be best answered by your physician. 💜💜Good luck

@Layan Izzeddin I agree but,we should be thanking God..humans can only do so much for one another.
Did they diagnoze u from the ultrasound ?wht cycts did u have
They want to relieve her Bec they know she must be thinking is it cancer etc.

Indeed, I doctored for months, IBS is what they kept telling me. Finally I got a diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
I’m scared to death of pain medicine so they can’t accuse me of that

Were your both ovaries removed?
i've heard way too many stories of women getting their health issues brushed off then months or years later they find out its cancer and it's usually terminal at that point. when really if the doctor took them serious they could've treated it when it still wasn't as bad. its terrible and the doctors should be held accountable
She was a stage what?
@@monicag6715 I'm not sure what stage..sorry. she had clear cell cancer.
R U still alive ?

I hope you’re doing okay now…🫶🏽🤍
"if your body is telling you that you're in pain, if your body has made these changes, there's probably something to be concerned about" YES thank you for this. pain is not normal, it indicates something is wrong. it can be from a "normal" cause like regular menstrual cramps or pain after surgery, of course, etc. but anything chronic or random seemingly without cause should be investigated. women especially are told that our pain is normal when it is often not. it might not just mean cancer (which is rather rare for certain age groups) but could mean endometriosis, ovarian cysts, nerve or muscle pain, etc. so many causes, and I strongly believe that patients women especially should and need to be their own advocates. fight for answers, it could potentially even save your life.
Your mom sounds like an angel! There is nothing like having your momma who just makes everything better the minute you hear her voice. Your story is so touching that it made me cry, but I am so relieved that you are okay. Thank you for sharing. Praying for you to have a future full of many blessed years. God is so good!

This is exactly why I made my video. Thank you for the sweet comment and I'm so glad you're working on getting answers!!

Wow, you are so strong. That line towards the end, "We're only given things that we can handle" really hit me hard. I lost my mom to cancer last July and it's been so hard. You made me realize that although I feel like my world is falling apart, I'm getting through it.

Turn to Jesus He loves you very much, He is the God of miracles, i was ill for a long time, but the doctors couldn't really help me, i don't blame them there was only so much that they could of done for me, Then Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, God has done amazing things in my life and in the life's of people i know and love, He can do the same for you and yours, When you need Him call on Him, The bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, He is the God of comfort and will be there for you when you call on Him, God saved someone i love from an illness leading to death, There is nothing impossible to God, Its as simple as accepting Jesus, and Trusting Him for your Salvation, He is the healer of the body and Saviour of our souls, And if you truly seek Him Jesus will answer you, i know this because He answered me when i called out to Him,

Hello
Thank you for sharing your story. As a cancer patient in remission I must say that my cancer has changed my attitude towards life for the better and although I wish I never had to go through it, in many ways my current life is more meaningful because of it. I wish you all the best!
Thank you, WE got this!
This was randomly recommended to me and I watched every second. Thank you for sharing your story and I hope more women take uterus and pelvic pain and cramping seriously. I am so glad you are doing better and I wish you the best!! 😊
Thank you so much, this comment means the world to me ❤️
Recommended to me after having months or random cramps and changed periods.
I admire your strength! I pray that this never comes back! xx
God bless you! You are a strong young woman. Prayers for you.
Best of luck to you. What an articulate and lovely young woman you are. I wish you a long and happy future!
Thank you so much!
Omg I can only imagine the anxiety and yes doctor are very quick to prescribe medication instead of trying to figure out the real problem
This is what is happening to me I have symptoms I never experienced before persistent bloating, frequent need to pee, lower back pain, nausea, sharp pain like a stabbing pain in lower belly but I was told at first I had a UTI they found bacteria in my urine took the antibiotics they didn't work went back they did a Pelvic exam and they said I had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease took antibiotics again wasn't helping at first helped a few days once I finished them I started feeling the bloating feeling again the frequent need to go pee never went away I don't know what to do anymore I am very scared I have a kid and she needs me 😢
I don't know my diagnosis yet but I am feeling every single symptom you felt. I'm so confused. Thank you so much for the video!
I’m so glad this was helpful! That was my goal for this video is that if it helps one person, then it makes it worth it. It was a long 2 months of pain waiting for the doctors to figure it out. Hopefully they get answers quickly ❤️
What were your results because I have the same symptoms 😔
A friend of mine, her daughter just went through two surgeries in the end of fall/beginning of winter for a cancerous teratoma on her ovary. She’s 15. This is so wild. I’m so happy you’re healing and recovering well 🥰
Did she take the gardisal? Thats young.
You are an amazing young lady!
I’m a bit lost for words to describe your strength and how much I admire you. I’ve been a nurse for 48 years and don’t think I’ve ever come across someone your age who has the strength and knowledge that you have. I’m sending loves of prayers and love ❤️
This means so much to me, you have no idea. Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m going through testing and scans for ovarian cancer and feeling very nervous right now. I’m having the same and similar symptoms but thankfully have a lovely doctor who started the investigations as I didn’t know anything about ovarian cancer. Thank you for speak out and advocating for yourself and others! You are such a light and I’m so grateful to have come across your story tonight. I’m so sorry you have been going through so much! I’m thinking of you and sending all my love and prayers across the sea~ love Francesca xxxx
Hi do you need help ?
How are you and your results??
Thank you for sharing this story, you are such a strong person! You gave me the courage to go see my doctor🙏
This is so amazing to hear, you got this!
I pray you be healed by God. Can you tell me what were the hardest 3 things with chemo?
Are you fine
Thank you for sharing your story. You’ve possibly helped someone realize that they need to get checked out and/or have given someone hope♥️
Thank you so much for sharing your story. ❤ I pray that you are well and living out each day grateful and stronger than ever!
Stay safe. xx
What an awesome young lady you are. I wish you all the best and a bright future!
You’re a warrior I’m so proud of you look at you! Fighting with us! Please keep us always updated. Praying for you ❤️🥺
I just got diagnosed with this exact cancer at 24!

Hi Laura I please would like an update if you have one
This is my story
Hi there.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and bringing awareness to this type of cancer. So brave and strong!
Hi hun , just wanted to say , so pleased you got medical treatment for your condition after waiting so long , I think u are so brave and very strong ! You have helped me to understand more as I have just had biopsy's taken last wk for pelvic pain and bleeding , I'm 68 not young like u but u have given me strength while I'm waiting for the results to come bk so ty so much and I'm sending love and best wishes for the yrs ahead and all you will! Succeed in 🍃💐🍃
I am so glad you got that removed and you were so persistent. I wish you nothing but the best health. I love your positive outlook. I am 53 and I have been through so many ovary cysts and surgery and a ovarian cancer scare when I was in my 30s. It's awful but it does make us a better person...we as humans I believe are here on earth to go through trials and tribulations constantly learning. Take care dear. 🌞❤
Ok....this is amazing....I am watching this video, I hearing you story, and you get to the part where the doctor call you back to tell you the pathology report..I tell myself.....if she says immature terratoma I’m going to die...and you DID. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAD. STAGE 3. Mine was grade 3 because it ha spread to other places ....I had grueling chemo for about 5 months. I had the tumor marker test like you. The AFP was the most important one to follow...it was hard but I SURVIVED. ~~~~~~~~~~~that was 22 years ago last month!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 you will be fine🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️
This comment has really given me such a more hopeful outlook on my recent diagnosis with stage 1A grade 3 immature terratoma in December 2020 ❤️ I also just turned 22 early January this year!!

🙏🏻 thanks for sharing your story!
this just came into my recommendations
but thank you so much for sharing ur story, you’re an incredible woman and i wish you the best. much love from the UK ☺️❤️

I randomly got this video recommended. I just want to say YOU ARE AMAZING! You are so right about people getting dealt with what they can handle. You are already something special and the things you will do in this world will only make it a better place.
This is so so sweet, thank you so much 🥺❤️
I had the same grade and stage as you. I had it at 17. The only difference is, I did chemo after the intial surgery. Mine was caused by a genetic mutation. I understand fully what you went through. My doctors wrote me off for many months too. I hope all is well!
Peace and blessings to you for a healthy recovery.
I wish you all the best in life.💗🌸💖
Hello how are you doing 😊😊😊😊
It is well ,you will be okay
And yes ladies whenever you feel something wrong in your body go get checked, because if it was never there it is not normal, dont let anyone tell you that it is normal if it has not been there
But all in all you will be well
You are sooo mature for your age and I’m so sorry you have had to go through this! It’s honestly my biggest fear l. I hope you’re doing ok now xxx
I'm doing great! Thank you for the sweet comment. I'm going to post an updated video talking about everything that's happened since then!
Good luck to you and in the future!! Always stay positive and never give up on your dreams. Prayers for u ❤❤😉. Your are Brave/Inspirational!!

I'm so sorry that you also have to go through this. No one else can quite understand how vulnerable it is to be in this state where there is basically nothing we can do then just hope our body responds to treatment. I believe in you and your body. If you ever need to talk to someone about this, I'm here! Sending you all the love while you take on this battle!
@@CatherineSaoud thankyou so much catherine. You gave me a hope. I believe I’ll be alright soon and cancer free. I want to live long and fulfill all my dreams ❤️
Your a beautiful young girl and I pray your doing better. I can't imagine how scary this was.My sister who is in her 60s is facing a possible ovarian cancer diagnosis. She is at the beginning and your video helped me as I'm very scared for her.
Is a biopsy just a simple ultrasound report i m confused itd getting common young ppl with health issues just last week i got diagnosed with pcos 😭😭 is it possible to get regular periods and still have cycts , i did get bloating too but its more oike belly fat depsite me having intermittent fasting
I got prescribed DIANE 35, LOCYST , MYOFOLIC SACHET
I GET REGULAR PERIODS NATURALLY BUT MY ULTRASOUND SHOWED CYCTS ON BOTH OVARY
RIGHT OVARY HAS MULTIPLE CYCTS
LEFT OVWRY HEMOGRAPHIC CYSTS
WILL SKIPPING MEDS BE OKAY FOR ME .?
Age 20
Height 5'4
Weight 61kg
I get pain from the cysts 😣😣 Mere periods 4 to 5 days hotte hai lekin un hone kaha hai ki 2nd day of periods se lena hai
💜💜Good luck
