    When a CSM accomplishes an upsell who is involved in the contracting or sale process? Does it go to the AMs or does the CSM get compensated

      Our research shows that not all CSMs are compensated. Those who do compensate CSMs get to see higher NRR. I recommend looking into our cs resource library for the market research stats: www.csmpractice.com/customer-success-manager-salary-trends-infographic

    Omg she hit so many points and was able to articulate the exact reason why I want to pivot into customer success, for me it’s all about taking that ownership and being the clients trusted advisor. I thank you both so very much for the content. I’ve been in sales and customer service for about 10 years and my main goal this year is to reinvent myself to pivot into Customer Success by studying this role and figuring out how to put my previous experience on paper to show that I have what it takes transition into this role as well as articulate in the interview (once I get to that point) that I am perfect candidate for the role. Again thank you ladies so much!

    I worked with Kathleen in the past and she is such a great example of what we, as CSM’s do to support our customers! Well done, Kathleen!

    Hey, I know it’s been six months of this video but I just came around it. I’ve recently became a KAM at my company and have been doing some research and found about this position of Customer Success seems like something I could really see myself doing and your video helped me a lot on seeing the similarities and differences between both roles! Thank you so much!

    Sales is hell. I so badly want to transition out. I’ve been doing this for 6 years and I’m absolutely miserable. The anxiety and horrible self worth is awful.

      I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way. Transitioning can be challenging, but remember your well-being is important. Your happiness matters. Hope you are able to move to a CSM role soon.

    As someone with coding background, would I be a good fit for account manager or customer success manger ?

    • @CSMPractice
      @CSMPractice  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably a success engineer or a CSM for a highly complex solution
