Do you have/can you make videos for people who have extensive experience in customer support who want to transition into CSM? I’ve applied to multiple companies but I’ve had no luck. It could be that I’m not doing a good job in transferring my skills to make them more relevant to CSM
Hi Gigi, I posted about this on LinkedIn and I recommend checking out the tips and responses. I believe you’d find them helpful: www.linkedin.com/posts/eizips_customersuccess-customersuccessmanager-job-activity-7062132722059669504-cfJd?
@@CSMPracticeomg thank you sooooo much for posting this on LinkedIn. I cried going through the comments; everyone is so kind and helpful. I don’t have an official LinkedIn account yet but I will have to make one and comment 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for sharing this vital information. I have been a Customer Success Specialist since January of this year. I recently had a layoff with the company I was with. I am now in the process of interviewing for a CSM position. So with that being said, this information has been beneficial. Thank you all!! I am even more motivated for my next journey!
Thank you so much for this. I've been applying for CSM jobs for months but haven't gotten any. I don't know what I'm missing, because I have most of the skills here and they're on my resume as well . I just discovered your channel, is there any particular video that can help pls?
I find all of your videos to be amazing and a great guide for CSMs. Along with the skills, have you developed a full competency framework and development planner?
This video is about career developer path for CSMs. I recommend watching it as a starting point: Customer Success CAREER DEVELOPMENT Path th-cam.com/video/thPmCzifLgQ/w-d-xo.html
Hi, thanks for a great video. I can't find the link you mentioned in the video that covers a sample panel presentation for a CSM during a recruitment process. Can you link/send please?
Sorry about that. I’ll have my team out a few links to the description. In the meantime, I recommend going to our channel and checking out the playlist related to hiring CSM process.
Can you suggest companies to apply at, that have a desire to hire someone without csm experience? I have 15 years mortgage sales experience yet, not many companies seem to understand I have transferable skills and subsequently Decline me from a chance to interview for the position.
It's a valid ask. Some companies got very sophisticated at hiring CSMs with no experience while making sure they can be successful at their new job. Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/-dOY0FYqjpY/w-d-xo.html
