Hey Josh, I know this doesn’t really have anything to do with he video but in you past videos I saw you use a conquest DC in the salt. I wanted to know how that reel holds up in the salt and if it can throw lighter lures into mangroves and what not? Either way awesome videos!
Hey mate! I’ve had is for probably 2 years now and used it in the salt since I got it without a drama. The lightest lure I’ve cast in it is a shimano bantam at 7grams. It’s caught plenty of jacks and smaller salty Barra
@@broady_b.23 it’s definitely blown out price wise since I bought it 4 or 5 years ago. It’s a pretty handy tool when you get it dialed in but definitely not something you need or use all the time
@@fishinjosh yup that sounds about right. I've never hooked up to a tarpon yet. I've been trying like crazy. They always just snip are the lure but never take it🤦🏽♂️🙍🏽♂️. What am I doing wrong man?! 😭 Should I use live bait instead?
@@TheGenkidia I’ve found smaller lures or flies and a single hook to get a better hook up rate! In saying that I’ve still had many multiple bite sessions with no fish landed or even hooked 😅
Love the sounds of the Forrest!
It’s a pretty special place mate! Awesome to just sit back and listen up there when it’s glass calm like that
Another good watch mate
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awesome vid once again, loving the toga series.
Thanks mate! They’re such a fun fish to target
Grest looking fish, love the pectoral fin

@@BENTASTIC217 no stress man! Cheers 🍻
Nice vid mate, was up there last week. Managed a few bass but saw some monster toges snooping around. Hey, what’s your motorguide bolted to?
Thanks mate! There’s some monsters lurking around up there ay. It’s just a bow mount plate that came with the boat
@@fishinjosh ahh ok too easy mate. Whats the go with the livescope? They $$$? Worth it though?

How do you like that 742 mate?
Love it man! Punches well about its weight when it comes to landing big fish too
Are they cousins to Tarpon?? They seem very similar 🤔🤔😃😃😃
I’m not sure it they’re related mate but yes very similar! Both have a boney mouth and masters of throwing hooks 😂😂

@@fishinjosh I'll take that into consideration mate. Thanks for that. I'll try a smaller lure 💪🏽👍🏽
@@TheGenkidia good luck man!!
