Hey mate! I’ve had is for probably 2 years now and used it in the salt since I got it without a drama. The lightest lure I’ve cast in it is a shimano bantam at 7grams. It’s caught plenty of jacks and smaller salty Barra

@@broady_b.23 it’s definitely blown out price wise since I bought it 4 or 5 years ago. It’s a pretty handy tool when you get it dialed in but definitely not something you need or use all the time

@@fishinjosh yup that sounds about right. I've never hooked up to a tarpon yet. I've been trying like crazy. They always just snip are the lure but never take it🤦🏽‍♂️🙍🏽‍♂️. What am I doing wrong man?! 😭 Should I use live bait instead?

@@TheGenkidia I’ve found smaller lures or flies and a single hook to get a better hook up rate! In saying that I’ve still had many multiple bite sessions with no fish landed or even hooked 😅
