Most of us that go for carp, pike etc. Started out with a float rod with maggots. Learn your way up mate. I spent the first 15 years of my life tench fishing 👍

@@savagestu30 I never said anything about that. I was talking about the editing. I dont care if someone catches 1 fish in 6 hours or 6 fish in 1 minute. If I'm watching a video and after 14 minutes of the video I only see 1 fish, I probably would've closed the video a long time ago.

I am obsessed with your Videos. I am now getting back into Carp fishing after having 10 years away from it. I wish i knew where these little lakes were as all i have access to currently is hammered commercial lakes.
The amount of work that you put in to catch a carp that I could hop down to the creek and get in an hour with corn and a hook or so makes me realize how lucky I am.
Old forgotten lake was great lads presenting a challenge for you both with weed and snags but you didn't give up and moved your rods .great choice great video as always

I think one of the fish you catch “Borbel” (sic) in Canada upper Ontario are referred to as “Chubbs” and the Canadians either pickle them or “smoke them”. Great journey Boyz🇬🇧🤙🏽.

lots of carp in the usa mostly they untargeted look for neighborhood pond many times they add carp in there to manage the weeds and such
As someone who lives in the US. There absolutely are, most of my favorite swims are either abandoned or city purchased paylakes.

Both are sort of difficult types of fishing. Get a small rod and light gear then go fish for perch or easier species. Put a worm on!
