Very nice blower its a shame so many towns and states are banning gas blowers now and making our work more difficult than it has to be the electrical ones dont cut it they dont have the power let alone the run time to complete a big job like cleaning a park , hopefully they see the error of their ways and revert their decisions
I love my battery tools, just when it comes to leaf blowers, they're not quite there yet. Once they equal, or surpass the power of gas, then I'll switch. I do love the idea of not having to clean carbs, winterize, change belts, etc., in the future.
Did you notice a hesitation when you first start up and you try to use it it seems like it hesitate to kick up I think something might be wrong with mine
No the same thing happens to me, wait for it to warm up for 2-3 min- when you first start blowing just go full throttle for a few seconds then again for a few seconds it warms up all the way and runs fine
@jimmyf1312 yes this is my problem I think that should happen the first time of the day it get that but if I like it sit for only 15 minutes it's does that same thing like it needs to warm up
I’m about a dozen tanks through mine now. It’s definitely crazy on power coming from a 8550. Only complaints so far is straps I feel they cheaped out on. They are always getting twisted putting it on and the throttle seems touchy and sometimes unless at full rpm seems like it has slight hesitation holding a lower power position.
to the redmax 9000 owners like myself all of them either bog from going low to medium power or stall i talked to dealer he said yes that is a common issue he said the computer carb isn't sure if your going to low power or higher power so the computer chip gets confused on what you want for power and he said nothing you can do for it. He said he talked to the rep for redmax and they know about it and said nothing can be done. Wish I didn't sell off my echo 9010s
That’s actually stupid, if they’ve been actually testing them they would’ve came across the issue too, but instead they put them on the market to sell not knowing how to fix the issue, I mean come on basically $900 after tax I expected it to run extremely well for a couple years no problems, but instead 3 weeks later and at 29 hours I’m having these issues on mine as well. I actually couldn’t get mine to run at all for 2 days finally got it to actually work this past week, and luckily when it was down the 2 days my 2 and a half year old echo 9010 stepped in
@@ernieharlin8263 yea my dealer thinks that is why husky didn't put their out yet because he figures that they are trying to see if issues they do have a soft tube that compacts in but when running the tube goes back full. I wish they would take care of stuff no wonder why so many have dropped selling redmax
My 9010 has run great since day one (more than a year). Unless something changes, dont see switching up. It is pretty though. More refined lines than Echo.
I had no idea that Husqvarna bought Redmax. That’s a deal breaker for me. My Stihl BR800X has been wonderful for the last 4-5 years. I love the side starter
Bought one about 4 months ago. I love it. Replaced a stihl 800 . When I bought mine you could buy 3 cans of fuel and the warranty went from 3 to 5 years. Obviously Redmax backs there products.
@@TurfandStem Well might want to ask a dealer about it. Or I guess it could have been the dealer. Lagrange Georgia. Souther cart service is the dealer. I rode almost 100 miles to the dealer. Mine runs so poorly, it’s new and I am very disappointed. Powerful when running properly, no question. Starts right up, but transitions from high to low power or low to high very rough, and today it stalled.
I highly recommend always using the correct fuel-oil mixture, as it’s crucial for the performance of your RedMax EBZ9000. Avoid pre-mixed fuel cans, as they may not meet the specific needs of your machine. Ideally, use alkylate fuel, like the orange containers from Stihl or Husqvarna's fuel. Even better, go for the grey jugs from Stihl or another alkylate fuel and mix it with high-quality oil from Echo, Husqvarna, or, for the best results, Amsoil's Saber oil. Check the carb for any leaks too / seals. Check and / or clean the sprak plug too. Good luck.
Did you buy it from a licensed dealer? It might have the idle screw out of adjustment. Also where I’m at I live at 6,500 feet in altitude so sometimes the carbs aren’t adjusted to the higher elevation. Something to consider.
Why would they put a computer carburator on a leaf blower. That's a major deal breaker. I just bought 3 echo 9010's for my company. I was leaning toward red max or echo. Then seen the computer crap on the red max. Turned away, went and bought echos and don't regret it one bit they are bad ass blowers
As long as a mechanical carb u can fix it anytime. With parts from after marker if factory parts arent available.Computer controlled means u only can fix through propriety parts.

How did you get 5 years?
Ran three cans of there redmax can fuel through it to start with. Gives you two extra years on the warranty. Fuel was 27 dollars. Not a hard decision.
Dealer stapled the receipt for the fuel onto the bill of sale so I would have proof.
