      If you're willing to shop nationwide and used, you can get away with getting a Rubicon for 40kish. I picked mine up with 20k miles and certified pre-owned Rubicon and love it.

      @@nitroxide17 You can get much lower, but I wanted to get really close to top of the line. Diesel would have been awesome, but that bumps it up to the 50k area even used. If you go lower, you can get around 30k for a Sport S, just make sure you get the Max Tow package as that gives you the wider Dana 44 axles.

      I traded my 2020 Canyon Denali for my 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon & love the JTR. It’s definitely underpowered when you add the weight of bigger tires, wheels, which is why I’m looking into this supercharger. If you’re planning on heavy modifications 40” tires, Dana 60s, replacing suspension. I’d look into the cheaper sport model. If you’re not going to be replacing everything then the JTR Rubicon is a good choice. IMO If you go the Rubicon route get it nicely appointed because Jeep makes it difficult to add options later, most options are tied to your VIN from the factory. I had trouble adding the 115v bed outlet after purchase.

    I’m willing to bet the biggest performance gain will be hill climbs! If you have the tires. We just bought a 2024 JT Sport S, with a few comfort adding and convenience packages. That I found with a $15k discount. Sure a Moab or Mojave would be nice, but we don’t really go off road all that often, mostly on the beaches. As far as acceleration is concerned, I find with the stock 17” alloy wheels and 245/75-17 Dueler tires @ 31.5” rides very smooth, is great in heavy rain and overall conditions, even on Jeep gatherings on trails, with a little mud. But I’m pretty sure my 0-60 time is closer to my last truck a Colorado Crew Cab V6, that was nice at 7.2 sec. This Gladiator is definitely around 8 sec.

    • @vivid_racing
      @vivid_racing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hemi swap is a much more expensive job than supercharging the existing engine. There’s also a lot more room for error when doing a swap like that. Could take quite some time to complete a job like that. Magnuson has never encountered anything of that either
