Yeah I loved the Viking beanie, but as a 5’6” buck-fifty (150 pound) half NATV Canadian/American… it would look more out of place than me on a shopping spree in some crowded city… 😂 it’s still cool regardless!
Such an awesome video! Dream Gladiator! Shaun, who to me looks like Russel Crowe, should have came out at the end, dressed as gladiator, and yelled, "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!" 😅
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I LOVE MY CANADIAN FAMILY!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK THE HOUSE!!! INNOVATION SPOKEN HERE!!!!! GREAT VIDEO AND EDUCATION!!!! A MUST WATCH!!!!
@@Eternal-2740 I have no doubt, I really wish the Gladiator came with a V8 option, even the Hemi! I don’t need an SRT, but love the sound of a good ole V8!
There are quite a few companies that do swaps like this, it's going to cost roughly 35k at the lower, 50k at the mid-level and at the higher level 75-100k for a fully blown out Heliphant install. you can go to America's Most Wanted and see what they are charging for their conversions, they are a tad on the high end.
I must say y'all guys do some great work. I have a couple questions I believe this Jeep Gladiator is a 2020. So should a person get a used Jeep Gladiator Rubicon let's say a V6 or get a 2023, 392 for y'all to turn it into a 426. You want the same setup he got. Which do you think would be better? 12-06-23
Guys, I really enjoyed the brashness of conversation and the constant ribbing. What won my heart over though was the 70’s porn music in the first half of the Vid. Definitely brought some tears to the eyes. Keep Kick’in it!
Mr Darkstar, while we certainly endeavour to bring tears to our viewers' eyes, we appreciate your shared fondness of that sweet 70s porn music. Cheers to you sir... Cheers.
AMW does offer a manual version, but we've been told it's not worth it, nor does it take advantage of the power. Not sure what manual trans they provide.
At first I was thinking serious overkill with 426… BUT apparently I think a lot like Shawn. I love the super charger whine and all that BUT it’s problematic. It creates insane amounts of power but also heat and massive stress on every piece of the motor and drivetrain. The 426 or maybe even non SC 392 to me seems sane. IF & when you get that much weight & power in a bind (and it will happen) thats when the super charger becomes your worst nightmare. Its gonna break something if a massive amount of UNCOMMON sense is not used. I truly like this whole set up of ALL the crazy s**t I have been watching others do. I have white Rubicon Gladiator (and other Jeeps and Dodge/Ram cars trucks). My Gladiator is ODDLY my favorite disappointment… The 3.6 in my 2 door wrangler is fine, BUT IT SUCKS BALLS in the Gladiator! I’m not going to boast any bullshit that I’m going to do what Shawn did. I cant justify that level of expense (nor do I have a reason too) Shawn does (so never take that as a jab)… it’s not. ALL I truly want is a mild cam 5.7 in my Gladiator. It’s obviously not a popular swap. I don’t want to run big tires or any lift... I was crushed in a rollover accident so I’m partially paralyzed waist down (at times). Weird crushed nerves and stuff, so things get complicated for me to maneuver pretty quick & I don’t like the attention of being the helpless moron. So, I simply cant have some options i like anymore. I watch these videos to LEARN as much as possible. A 5.7 swap shouldn’t require near the upgrades Apparently the transmission needs changed regardless??? I haven’t seen anyone not changing the transmission. I get into looking into all I need to start gathering and always get pulled to something that needs more immediate attention. I’m keeping my Gladiator probably the rest of my stay here on this planet turning to hell itself, so hopefully when I get to it, the parts can still be easily available BEYOND the motor swap… I DREAM OF converting my 4 door Gladiator to a 2 door Gladiator with bobbed rear on bed and added front on bed!!! with 5.7 all stock suspension wheels and tires… that’s my ultimate dream (small Jeep truck) WHY? Its sort of part 2 of and old story of a boy with his Jeep. I still own my “first car”…. It wasn’t a car! It is a 1981 factory 304 v8; Scrambler Laredo pickup cab version. In its day it was cool! It still is! And it’s still mostly stock and at 376,000 miles it has no issues taking me any where I wanna go. That old Scrambler has to be (hands down) one of the best vehicles on the planet as far as durability and dependable. AND it endured me as a kid and stupid young adult! HOW? Who knows? So, Jeep may do dumb shit at times but at its heart, simple cant be beat in a long game of complicated. That’s my deal with the Gladiator. A little more NEEDED power but keep everything as simple and worry free as possible. Plus I want a SCRAMBLER 2.0 sitting side by side in the barn when I’m old… lol
Their conversions are catered for the rich. Any normal Jeep owner would never spend this type of money, drivetrain worth more than Jeep itself. Good work though
Ok rime for my smartass comment....here in the states only tax thieving politicians can afford these swaps. Maybe one day jeep or stelantis will pull their head out of their ass and build one with a V8 from the factory, then i would only have to 2nd mortgage my life to get one.
if this comment gets 3 likes, the ginger's viking beanie needs to go on sale as merch (not his specifically, but open to it)
That viking headwear is custom made in Norway by overly large, cantankerous bridge trolls. We're unsure how to scale up production.
I actually like ginger's viking beanie too lol.

Really nice build 👍
Can't help but grin when you hear the sound of a V8.
Agreed Steve! It's unlike anything else.
OMG..THAT THING IS A BEAST!!! You should rename it the trail hulk !! Awesome guys..seriously awesome 👌
Thanks John! Shaun rightly calls it "the trail destroyer".
All this added and it still gets 27mpg…simply incredible! 😆
I want a Toque just like the Gingers 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
If you have us build you a jeep, we'll throw in the Ginger's fancy viking headwear ;-)

Yesssssssss burn out time men
Great job. How much is just a motor and transmission swap 426 .
Most importantly, where did you get the Viking hat?
426 with the TRX trans so you should be money.
How big is the new gas tank.
Did you have a buyer for the 6 cylinder? It would suck to have to store that thing.
We just end up selling them. Shaun sold his to someone in a day.
With the added weight of the V8, do you have to change the front springs at all? Thanks and love this build
Similar to an EcoDiesel lift, we added a 1" coil spring spacer to the top of the front coils. Handles and rides great.
Can it be done in manually equipped gladiators?
AMW does offer a manual version, but we've been told it's not worth it, nor does it take advantage of the power. Not sure what manual trans they provide.
After doing this swap, is the any option to add another long range fuel tank under the gladiator?
This is the exact build I want, Saving as fast as I can. How do I find out the cost of something like this?
Just give us a call 604-888-2961 and we can discuss options! Cheers!
I love seeing all the Hemi swaps, but has ANYONE tried using the Viper V10???
No point, wouldn't fit and still only gives you 500hp area
James, lol I don’t have the money anyway. But sounds good. 500hp is enough for me.
Don't worry we can do lots of swearing putting a steering box in mine later :D
Oh there will be some choice words said ha ha!
I need a jeep again 😫
I'm getting ready to buy mine. The only thing that worries me is the alternator being so low.
Well... Shaun has extensively tested under water and in deep snow and all is good ;-)
do you have store in Toronto? i want to install lift kit
What transmission and transfer case did you use
Nicely done. How long did it take to do the swap?
Everything took a couple of weeks.
What do you do with the 3.6 after the conversion?
We just sell them. Shaun sold his 3.6L to someone.
What is the cost of swap like this ?
Wow, I didn’t realize how much cash Shaun had into this thing
How much does this cost?!

If he would just use tire chains, he wouldn't need a V8...
Yea all that power doesn't do much when you have no traction.. IMO the 3.6 is great with proper gearing..
We did put chains on the 3.6. To pull it out and throw it on the ground. 👍🏻
How much
