Today, we install a 150cc gy6 carburetor on 80cc Big Bore Kit TaoTao gy6.
We also ask for your help with our new fur baby, Silvey. She is the sweetest girl. She was ran over and broke her hip and leg. We adopted her after finding out she wasn't going to receive the care she needed. The vet bills are a bit higher than we expected for her but she is worth all the money in the world. So we ask for your love and if you can, your donation to help her. Thank you! Silvey Thanks you too!

I think it needs waaaayyyy more fuel, you put a open exhaust and a open airfilter on it and you can hear it dying at full throttle. Try taking a look at the carberator and the jets. Should make it a lot faster

I have the same glixal kit on mine, I tried to run the yellow clutch springs and they were stiff for me, they rode for a long time and it would only do 30mph, I put the 1500 stall contra spring in with the old beat up clutch springs and mine will tap 45 on level ground now. That's with the 7g sliders in it, on a 12 inch tire, with the stock gearing. I've heard you can run the stock head with the a9 cam and the smaller valves will produce a higher dynamic compression, which WOULD increase torque, and I know from experience that a 63mm cylinder with the stock 50 head, stock 50 cam, stock 50 carb, with a pod filter, 93 main, 3 6g rollers and 3 8g rollers, and a range 6 plug, with a stock clutch and driver are 14/40 in the rear will do 55mph on a 10 inch tire, that was the setup on my velocity mp50 with a Meiduo gy6 on it.

The thing that made a massive difference for speed on mine was the belt, id suggest getting a bigger belt and also put the old carb back on. I was running 10g rollers as well and I'd get about 50 - 55mph on gps

After experimenting with the 150 and 50cc gy6 scooters I know what will give you the best results. do the big bore. Its a lot easier than you think. Rolling wrench has a tutorial thats very good on installing a big bore on your engine.
Get an aftermarket exhaust, but make sure it has a silencer inside, straight through pipes will make you loss a ton of low end torque even after rejetting.
Get a pod filter. From here on you need to rejet and or do a carb swap.
I recommend you get a generic 21mm pwk carburator and a jetting kit. Tune it.
Next is the variator tune. I recommend you get a bigger diameter variator if it fits inside your case. That way you can run really light weights without losing much if any top end.
For exact weights I am not 100% sure, you will need to play with it. I recommend you get sliders instead of rollers.
Thats mostly it for the gy6 in terms of tuning. If yoj are willing to sacrifice some acceleration you can get a regear kit to make the top speed higher.

Imo to really use a 24mm carb you gotta have an actual big valve head. Most cheaper 80cc kits just have a larger dome. Valves are the same. 24 wont do anything unless you have an intake port thats close in size. Rolling Wrench maybe, NCY possibly makes one, Naraku or SSPG are who I would check. Most of your gains will be in your cvt. Glixal is okay but an NCY variator, good belt and just tuning it right will help. Gears are for if you max out the stock gearing. Im not sure for your bike but on my old Taotao with a 10 inch wheel I hit 50 a few times. Seems to be where stock gears max out. Good cam would help, make sure your valves are adjusted and just play with it 🤙🤙🤙
