Wow. I have a Tao Tao pony. All I've done is air the tires properly and the repairs from when I caught a junkie trying to steal it from the hospital. Anyway, my Blue Bomber hits almost 40 mph. Keep in mind I weigh 230, and I always have about 10 lbs of chain, tools, groceries, etc. It looks like I got lucky.

did you ever remove the limiter wire from the cdi box? also alot of mopeds get greater performance with the stock air filter

Don't forget to truly tune it! Like the AF screw. Pretty good tip if you have to 2 or more turns out from base u generally will need a bigger jet

The pwk 21mm carb says the intake side is 35mm. The link you put says it goes to 32mm. Will that be enough to fit?

You will not get more speed with your higher gearing until you have more power to push it
