      SpineCare Decompression and Chiropractic Center Do you mean Scoliosis??? What an unkind way of framing that. I have scoliosis. I don’t ever want someone to refer to me as “crooked”

    • @DrRowe
      @DrRowe  4 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      No, this is not for scoliosis. This is for an antalgic lean or a lateral shift in the lower back causing your back to be not level... thus crooked. Not once in this video do I mention or allude to scoliosis in any form.

      At some point, it has to (dare I say it) "stroke his ego". The guy can just as easily create not-so-thought-provoking thumbnails for this particular medical subject..but he knows how to get people's attention.
      ...and if you haven't noticed, he's made quite a bit of them.. A comp is a comp is a comp...just hope he take it as such... professional or no.
      And to be quite honest, we really don't know what his life is outside of his profession...nor is it any of our business.. But, I'm sure as long as he continues to create thumbnails, like the aforementioned...the compliments are just gonna continue to be made....until he turns off the comment sections entirely.

    I woke up yesterday with back pain, from experience i knew it wasn't a strained or pulled muscle, it felt like my spine wasn't aligned properly. I did a search and found this video. After trying the first step, my pain was pretty much gone! I went ahead and took it further with the second step. Thank you so much for posting this!

    I have been struggling with my back being tilted to the left for about 2 weeks. The last exercise (based on McKenzie’s) just got my back straight up again in a few minutes. The pain severity increased initially after the exercise, but as the day went on, it became way less than the original pain I had before the exercise. Thank you so much for sharing your valuable knowledge with us! It helped me after two weeks of going no where!

      I have weight trained since I was a teenager and just turned sixty six. I loved to squat and deadlift all those years in between but I can absolutely assure you now that they didn’t do me any favors at the end of the day. I have chronic problems with my lower back like this fellow describes and if I had to do it over again knowing what I know now. I would never have done them. I know that is difficult to ingest when you are young and in good shape, but do some research on a aging athletes and the evidence will support my claim.

    Worked great. Thank you!! I’ve had multiple knee issues to the point where I no longer have an acl. My body has been compensating through my back for years. I’ve noticed I was twisted and been to chiropractors, doctors wanted to do injections and surgery but I’ve learned with my knee, that doesn’t work. So I do stretches, this shows up on my feed and 7 min later I am pain free in my lower back and my shoulders just dropped like 2 inches Thank you again.

    After just one attempt at this I guess I should be cautiously optimistic, but wow that made a difference. I've been mostly bedridden for 3 weeks and and short walks have been a painful shuffle or not possible due to sciatic pain. I just glided down the stairs without a hint of pain. Lots more work to do to straighten my spine out, but thank you so much for a hopeful launchpad towards comfort.

Sciatica & pins & needles have been with me for years, I'm 74 and can touch my toes...I gently tried your technique @5:30 on my kitchen wall and it was a good and a different stretch, Thank You!!! I worked in an injury law office. over and over again I saw injured clients go through tremendous pain, operation, drugs. I am not a drug user in any form. not even aspirin. so when I pushed my airplane myself I injured my neck. The next day I woke up with excruciating pain. I could not move my head without feeling like I was being stabbed in the neck by a knife. it took my breath away. I could hardly get out of bed but I did. I think I took a few baby aspirin but they have an adverse effect on me. I saw an orthopedic and he took x-rays. he told me the problem. he told me he had just done an operation for a condition like mine. I said is there any hope that I can treat it naturally and he said no. you will need an operation. I said how will I know. he said you'll know. so I started my own therapy with massage, using a neck pillow at night to stretch out my neck, using a heat pad every night, taking b vitamins and c. I also got an adjustable bed to stretch out my vertebraes at night. that was many many years ago. today I have no issues. none. but that wasn't the only thing I did. I had a ski accident and hurt my neck so bad I could not keep my head up lol. I had to walk with my back straight and my chin up high. and that's not all. I had a water skiing accident as well and I could have sworn I broke my neck. but I just told myself I would be fine. over the years I have had massages. I have had good chiropractors and bad chiropractors. now I do it all myself with massage equipment and I'm using your methods. I lift weights and I exercise. no drugs. but I don't deny myself a couple of glasses of wine if I am really in pain and then I use the massage, vibrating equipment and heat pad. I wake up in a sweat but the pain is gone. I am not young anymore. but I am in great shape. I studied pharmaceutical years ago. I think they are poison. my sister was a firm believer in her doctors. she had many operations. she was always taking some form of medication or other. she developed Parkinson's disease and early dementia and died a few months ago. as far as I know I have perfect recall.. if I attend to something it's in my brain forever. I say this for the edification of anyone reading it. but, it takes discipline. Make yourself exercise. move the blood and the lymphatic fluids and eat fuel not filler.

      @@Graceymay74 Normally I am going to the gym every day to try to keep balanced out but because of the lockdowns I have barely worked out this year and this has made this particular problem a lot worse. Because of the pelvic problem the abdominal muscles atrophy whereas a normal person doesn't have this. I try not to think about it too much and just hope I can get back to the gym regularly soon. I hope you have good luck correcting the problem as well as possible
