Woke up one day with really bad pain in my lower back. I could barely walk let alone do anything else. I turned to TH-cam. Found this video. Read the comments. And decided that it was worth a shot .
The following day, I woke up and my back pain was not as severe. Struggled through another two exercise sessions and again the following day, the pain had eased up considerably! Brilliant video. To the point. And it actually works! Thank you so much.

40 plus years of sacroiliac joint pain. ( hit in lower back by a huge boat of a car, age 20) At times excruciating causing leg to collapse twice resulting in bad falls. Recent flare up, level 9..out of desperation I tried vicks with lavender oil mixed in. I'm not kidding, immediate relief. Lavender also healed my cut up leg when nothing else would.

Hi, I am 75 years old retired nurse, and I’ve not been really sick a day in my life. Eight months ago I started limping and having what I thought was severe hip pain, turned out to be SI joint and sacral facets with severe inflammation\arthritis. Not to mention a few herniated discs. So my care has been a great chiropractor for me for release of pain however, it did not last. On to the Ortho\spine and joint specialist.
since last August the treatments have been a total of four epidurals, one SI joint injection, steroid, medial nerve ablation right before Christmas. A fantastical physical therapist and after the ablation I am 80% pain-free however working with a physical therapist and now seeing your video has made, it absolutely possible for me to do my part in managing my pain and strengthening the surrounding tissues. Thank you for doing what you do.❤

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DON'T DOUBT THIS LIKE I DID. IT WORKS. Honestly I was reading these comments and thinking no way this works as people were describing. Having wasted money on treatment at a Chiro and other back pain specialist for a few months without relief, I just couldn't believe these exercises would work. But I'm thankful I put my doubt away and have this a shot because the relief was pretty instant. Honestly I was in pain getting up from the couch and getting to the floor to start, and after the first two exercises I immediately felt the tightness and pain subside.

I love you! I have been in so much pain for years! I was first diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease in 1974. Things got better off and on with physical therapy but it didn't last. I'm now 72 (in two weeks) and so frustrated with pain. Not only my back, but my knees, hands,(carpal tunnel,) neck, and ankles.
I fell in gravel in 2005 and had a pebble stuck in my left knee that I pulled out. It didn't bleed, but it developed nerve damage so I can't get on my knees without shocking pain. I had the right knee replaced back in 2010. Then, a few years later, I had a torn meniscus in the left knee. But your exercises have been miracle working.
I went to a podiatrist for my ankle, and when he didn't see anything on the x-ray, he asked me if I have back problems. I said yes and he asked if it was L4 and L5. I told him it was now L3, L4, L5, S1, and S2.
I am overweight but successfully working on it. In 2009, I weighed 305. I now weigh 240 and have been able to keep it off.

Try this: get a friend to put a scarf around your thigh, with them holding the ends in one hand, sitting next to your leg. Then with their other hand, they gently cup your outer edge of the knee, pushing against the force of their first hand that's going to pull on the scarf ends. Basically the scarf is pulling your thigh outwards and simultaneously their other hand is stopping the knee from leaving vertical/straight. So opposing forces... You will find that this assisted stretch really helps loosen and relieve your si pain in that side. Good luck.

I suffered from piriformis and sciatica. Our bodies store stress in our hips. Because of connective tissue, tightening of the muscles will agitate your back and legs. I began doing deep squats. Holding them as long as I could to open my hips. Stand with your feet should length apart and squat as low as possible. My results have been miraculous. I haven't had any flare-ups since. Do deep squat daily up to 30 seconds to a minute.

My doctor said it was piriformis muscle issue because I could not sit, drive car, and also had pain when I wake up in the morning, but I knew that when I touch at my right side SI muscle, I had sensation in my thigh, which I told him, but was not paid much attention by him. I had much pain in my piriformis muscle area which I think might be a referred pain from my weak SI muscle.
I just did this exercise shown in this video and I found that I got my strength back right from SI muscle to my glutes, thigh, calf, etc.
I am surely going to repeat this and strengthen my SI muscle. Thanks much…!

    Hello
    Writing this from India
Yesterday after I did my 15 km run I felt this sharp pain in my lower back ( right side covering upper hips ) .
I got scared that it will affect my running schedule because I have to attend upcoming marathons.
Whole day I suffered with that sharp pain .
Luckily while searching about this on TH-cam I came across your video .
Today morning I did these stretches as the first thing and trust me it really worked well .
I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR CREATING THIS VIDEO.
It really addressed those points where I was having sharp and unbearable pain .
I wasn’t even able to walk properly and now after doing these exercises I am feeling much better.
Thanks once again and love from India 🇮🇳

To prevent this lumbar region (lower back) pain from coming back once you finally have little to no pain you need to keep good posture, do stretches for your entire body, exercise, sleep right, drink plenty of water, don't overwork your body, and don't sit down for too long and too often. If you must sit, sit down on a chair with good back support but try to get up here and there and move around.
